Spent one month in Iran working. I've never met more kind and brave people in my whole life. I never felt more welcome. When it's safe to go again I strongly recommend it. The Persian culture goes thousands of years back.
Many Iranians have gotten away from Islam & gone back to their Pagan & Zoroastrian religions. That's why they prefer to be called Persian, not Iranian.
@@Rulya.BaruchHaShem.Morrigan No, Iranian is a great thing to call them, they like it. They all came from ancient Iranian tribes, and they always called their country Iran since ancient times. Persian is a "Iranian" language, like Kurdish, Tajiki, Pashto, etc.
@@hadror13Iran is in the world and the comment is absolutely true. Most individuals have no issues with individuals from anywhere in the world. Problems arise wheb politics get involved.
I recall a foreign lady reporter a while ago got jailed for doing what you're doing and it took some time a lot of effort and many years later before she was finally released, so your very brave, personality, I would never set foot in a country with those sorts of degrading rules towards women.... PERIOD!*
sounds to me that the girl is russian. and exactly what you wrote has been going on in russia since ukraine. in general journalists, i dont mean women only. what a scary thought having your voice taken away from you and especially if its because of your gender. it sickens me to my core. i was raised in ireland by an ex catholic irish nun and an atheist german dad. they taught me if someone is trying to hush me, i should speak even louder, rest their souls❤ you're so right, i would never dare step into that kind of country where i am not seen as a human being!!
On paper iran is pretty strict ( less than afghanistan )... But iranian people are probably the most irreligious out of all muslim countries lol The contrast is just insane hahaha In private, you will have a hard time meeting religious people in the cities
Iran has always been the flashpoint of ideas from the east and west. It was the cradle of ancient civilizations. Many Iranians have seen the real face of !$l@m and dont want it. Hence the people are standing against the cult
yes they are faighting for their freedom while Muslim women in the Western world are faighting the opposite they want to wear their burkas everywhere🤣 whats wrong with the people ???
What about the Men, that were %99 of the dead, how about them Dying fighting for someone else, If you think women have it terrible and men dont as much, You are Crazy.

Brilliant vid today, really enjoyed this. Made me a little sad at the end, how much I take my freedom for granted. I really wish the people of Iran all the very best.

This is the point of these bogus videos. This vlog also proves how poor the situation of this vlogg3r is (mentally poor as well). She seems to have not traveled much at all. There are other countries much much worse than Iran. I am actually impressed how much Iran has been able to do despite unnecessary sanctions to it simply because Iran as an indep3ndent country refused to bow down and say yes to everything the USA demanded from them.

@@ciaronsmith4995 That's completely untrue, Western Turkey is closer to European culture than Islamic. Go to the coast and you'll see alcohol everywhere, lots of people smoking, women in bikinis and you'll even find bacon. Most in those areas are only technically Muslim, most are not practising in those areas. Eastern and Central Turkey is more religious, probably on par with Iran although not enforced as strictly.
Not to that extent. Before Taliban for example 36% of girls were going to primary school now they are above 60%. Stoppage of secondary schools for girls was due to abscence of infrastructure and men are the ones who provide for the family and the one needed for more hardwork so they priotrize their education and they said many times the ban isn't permanent. About work you just need their permission and as long as the workplace isn't mixed women can work. There's many markets for women that only opened after the taliban. 22% of healthcare workers are women. Hundreds of thousands of women are teachers. They recently opened some medical institutions for women. Some secondary schools that met their conditions are open. Etc. Away from women issues they did a lot for the country. Hundreds of medium to large projects were never done due to corruption during the occupation period (as the western media itself said) now they're either ongoing or finishing. They didn't pursue revenge against those who cooperated with the occupation even the previous corrupt presidents are living there except the latest one who fleed with some money. They banned poppy cultivation (while US allowed it). And many more. It's just that the western media are always biased. They either convey the truth in a distorted way or never say it. Anyway, Hopefully they will open all schools for women soon..
@@Wozza365 Iran is not even religious among people. Everyone drinks underground in Iran. Turks are far more religious and lags behind Iran in Female STEM graduation and general technological development.
My sister's husband is Iranian, and my niece and nephew are half Iranian. Iran is not the strictest, but you need to know the laws and customs if you go there. I love my sister's Iranian family. They have been here for many years since 1979, and are good people. Although Iran is not the very strictest, I would not feel comfortable visiting there as a woman used to American freedom. Just remember that the Iranian govt is not the Iranian people. There are good and bad people in any country, but it's the govt that scares me there.
Oh! In USA the government doesn't control people? Stop believing what she says in Russian( do we really know what she says???? It could be translated falsely) in Russia people do check your phones etc not in Iran. It is to discredit current regime by using propaganda to get more views and subscription. They discredit presidents did you watch Biden & Trump's debate discrediting each other??? Was it good? No so don't believe everything you hear . Stop propaganda= hate and rudeness. Go read research. Do people criticize Pope? So stop being disrespectful towards Iranian clergies. The difference between now and before when Shah was in power is that clergies were there but not part of government. Use your brain not copy people who spread hate. The clergies were there when Shah was in power .
From what I was told by an Iranian citizen I met in Dubai, he said that it's a matter of time the Islamic regime collapses. He said that the Iranian government knows it's a matter of time and they can't hold on to power forever like they have been.
The ironic part is as Iranian women like this get older they support the strict adherence to Islamic customs and fully support penalties against those younger women who don't comply.

Great video, but the title is incorrect & wrong. Iran is NOT the world's strictest Muslim country. It is still a horrible place, esp. for women, but there are much more oppressive Muslim countries in the world.
I did live in Iran a year before the Islamic Revolution it was beautiful so much freedom, my husband was Iranian I loved it, we had a English radio channel and many foreigners living and working in Tehran, but I left a year after Khomeni came into power, as it was very dangerous for foreigners to live in Iran, and also for people who worked for the Shah of Iran's Government. I was very sad to leave, but I will never set foot in Iran again, only if the Government changes.

I'm sure it is not intentional, but the narrator's tone many times does not match the seriousness of the topics. She sounds like she should be narrating a light makeup or fashion tutorial. No offense, but it made the video difficult to watch with this incongruence.

I remember during the 70’s Young Iranians used to go the Philippines to study. I was still a teen that time. Iranian girls were wearing the trend mini skirt and Jeans. When I was in my high school days. We have a subject Socisl studies. I learned about the Sha and the Country Iran freedom of anything, fromhair fashion, dress fashion and they were rich that time. Now they became poor because of fascist khomeni.
@@Masoud520 it’s the convenient narrative of the corrupt government and I’m surprised a minority still believe that! It’s just mismanagement, corruption everywhere and favouritism. At least under the Pahlavis things were done even if there was corruption and no intellectual freedom there was improvement in many fields and the country was rich and poor people could eat meat which they can’t afford since the revolution and it was supposed to be the revolution for the poor if you please! I’m not saying it was paradise before 1979 but life was better and there was freedom in daily life. Changes were underway to more political freedom and to adjust the economic crisis of 1977 but it would have been regulated! It was mostly all about political freedom and the leftist thought they would have it from the most backward religious like Khomeiny who wasn’t even a great Marjah he just took the opportunity even if many in the clergy were against him. Improvement to feel the gap between the rich, the middle class (at least there was a big one) and the poor, more political freedom and moral values as the last Shah went to far on allowing the miniskirt among many other examples. It was too much to quickly the so called westernisation of the country and it was like the old and rich Persian culture had no value even if the Shabanouh Farah was trying to fight it. All that but nothing as bad as since the revolution for sure!!
No Iranians would go to Philippines not alone study there stop propaganda and because you want regime change you say anything to cause propaganda but in reality you insulting Iran possibly betrayed Iran. It is not the way to change regime. Stop it. Clergies were there when Shah was in power the difference is now they are in government. @@nalotaller9844 "...... Young Iranians used to go the Philippines to study....." LMAO when reading this. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. Philippines was so poor, so crowded and so dirty in the 70's, even now. Poor Filipinos ate pak pak then and they still eat pak pak now. Per capita income of Philippines in 1975 was 398 USD, this was the year I lived in the Philippines (Subic bay - USN 7th fleet naval base, and Clark Air force base, US air base outside Manila). Philippines' 2023 per capita income is 4,230 USD. Compare these to Iran, per capita income of Iran in 1975 was 1,576 USD (4x higher than that of Philippines). Even with the US sanction - trade embargo, since 1979 (over 45 years), Iran's 2023 per capita income is 5,740 USD (1500 USD higher than that of Philippines). In the 70's Iran was one of the wealthiest country in the Middle East if not the upper middle tier -top tier in the world in term of wealth. "Young Iranians used to go the Philippines to study...." give me a break, they went to the Philippines to have a good time, getting some "boom boom," may be. The university I'd attended in the US in 1977 (as many other universities in the south, specifically in Texas) had large number of Iranian students, at least 300-400 students, and a quarter of them were graduate students (Master and PhD programs). They were well known for driving the most sporty and expensive cars - Pontiac Trans-Am, Pontiac Firebird, Chevrolet Camero Z28, Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 911 Turbo....Two of the Iranian attended graduate school with me, we three ended up working for AT&T Bell Labs in the early 80's. Dr. (PhD) Kaveh Azar was a resident expert in heat management (for telecommunication network systems in NOC - Network Operation Center), and now he has his own firm in Boston (Kaveh engineering consulting firm). The other, Dr. (PhD) Hamid Ahmadi, is engineering director of data/broadband and internet services in NYC.

Here's an observation about human nature: I've found from my travels that the stricter the environment, the larger the underground black market. It's proportional. So Saudi Arabia being one of the strictest, you can find anything that is illegal there probably much easier than in Canada, for instance. Humans in general need a level of freedom that allows them expression. If many regulations prevent different types of expression, the human will find a way to get around the regulations. It's the same all over the world.

Do you mean because of the person's voice?? If so, I agree. It sounds like a teacher reading a story to 5 yr olds. Or like they're desperately trying to sound like a baby. It's like nails on a chalkboard. I definitely miss the narration of the earlier videos. I had to just turn the sound off and read the captions lol. Couldn't stand it after 2 minutes.
Thank you for this video. It's wonderful to see despite all the hardship the iranians are able to manufacture everything locally showing what a clever nation they are. Having Iranian ancestry, I would love to visit this beautiful country and meet the great people. The history is amazing, food is delicious and landscape vast. Unfortunately, I don't think it's safe, especially for women at this time, which is a shame. I hope that eventually that will change. I've known people (Iranian and American) that have told me before the revolution it was wonderful visiting and living in Iran. Iranians for the most part are lovely people!
Hello friends, you have shared the right information in this program. Do not even think about traveling to Iran. This advice is from me, a person from inside Iran where I work and live. Like an American who wants to go to the Soviet Union during Stalin's time. Anything is possible, especially since security leaders on television and among journalists are officially and publicly talking about taking hostages and exchanging them with their imprisoned terrorists in other countries of the world. This is crazy. Just know that Iranians are neither Arab nor speak Arabic. According to the latest survey conducted by the government itself, even with the fraud and change of statistics that can be seen in all the works of the cannibalistic government of Iran. 85% of Iranian people do not support the current religious government. Now more than 60% of people hate Islam and Islamic laws and want to completely remove religion from the country. Iranian people traditionally want peace and international trade and they have not started any war for a thousand years. We have been in many wars, but we have not been the aggressor who started the killing. Please do not put all the people of Iran in the folder of the Iranian government. They are a bunch of extremists, like the Taliban in Afghanistan. When you talk about the government of Iran, say the government of cannibals in Iran. And when you talk about people, say Iranians. The two are very different. Exactly the same photo where the girls are sitting in front of the American Embassy sign. Also thank you, let me add that flogging for drinking still happens, just secretly without any clips of it for you and the rest of the world to see. Notice how easily they have been able to deceive you about everything. In this way, everything you see is the same, the Iranian government is just a big lie. The cannibal government in Iran is something like North Korea, China and Afghanistan. This freedom that you see and the strange duality in society is the result of the 50-year war of freedom-loving and secular ordinary people against the killing of Islamic cannibals in Iran. sometimes reduce the pressure on people so that they don't come to the street again and demand their rights. Of course, this fake and small freedom! It is not continuous and safe. People in Iran have to behave like members of guerilla organizations all their lives for a normal life, even sometimes. There is a risk of death by the government that was not properly foreseen by you. (Iran is the second country in terms of the number of executions in the world) To live in Iran, it is better to see the military training course before coming to survive in difficult conditions.
i deeply appriciate your courage and enthusiasm through this fascinating journey, Mrs. Sabynina. This is such a dumb point, it's like the definition of someone not thinking at all and deciding it's a great point. Do you really not want to fight for people's right to live unless they specifically share the exact same values as you? Personally I think even people who don't accept me on a personal level have the right to live....crazy I guess...
The woman at the (illegal ) party is delusional. Thinking it’s acceptable for her to drink drive because she finds it enjoyable & sees it’s a hobby?!! 🤬…..FYI - drink driving kills, which is why it’s illegal in almost every country in the world. Doing it because you want to is morally wrong!
That pretty much sums up the western attitude that was trying to infiltrate Iran and why the ruler quickly banned everything from the west. I live in the west and have to live in the degenerecy every day so I don't blame dude for doing what he did.

While some are supporting harsh Islamic terrorist groups, you have plenty of people in those countries who just want to live normally. So, leftists, be aware of what you wish for. You want the liberty of say and do whatever and impose it on others. While, we just want to be normal as long as it doesn't bother others. Great video, just wish I could get the original version in Russian as this lady is so sweet.
What is the concept of freedom? Is it drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, dancing ridiculously, exposing your body to get attention...? It is not freedom, it is slavery and addiction. They just wanna be free to get freely addicted to what they actually will make them slave... Sorry for those people out there craving for self-abusive life style. This is nothing but a cheesy western-like fake freedom that is pumped by the owners! Of the world. I am from Turkey, we have been a secular country for ages and it sucks... Our people especially young generations have been taken by entertainment, drugs, social media, fashion, etc... They simply become slaves of those and live like zombies. All become extreme individuals who have no sense of others. Girls, for instance, care about their manicure, or makeups rather than somebody suffering in front of their eyes. Teenagers don't give their seat to disabled or elderlies who hardly walk in public transportation, they just don't care. We have been losing our values and traditions within this individualistic secular culture plus drugs, tv series, and so on. The entertainment market owners they are free to turn people into puppets and make them fools to believe that they are free. So sad...
@33:12 Sorry to break it to you but you got the supermarket info very wrong. When you were showing products "locally made" they were absolutely brands that exist at least here in Eastern Europe. While you were saying "no imported goods, not even from Turkey" you were showing Domestos and Cif. Those ARE brands available everywhere in Europe at least. And Danette is literally one of Danone's products.
