I haven't watched the last few episodes in full but have watched lil cuts here and there. But the original essence and feelings of the show were not the same. 😭 I do miss the weekly Yibo dose and the brotherly bickering...😥
Especially the first one where HG walked out onto the stage on his own.... and the final one where Yibo didn't say his usual 'see you on the next one' speech... or wave..he went to wave and then stopped himself.. and some of the close up pics look like he was a bit teary. Its such a shame...but if Hunan are really going to make their hosts/guests exclusive, then he and dls did not really have a choice... as you pointed out... the hosting salary is not that big... supposedly a guest host would get less... In retrospect I think they both made the right decision...even though I miss them terribly.
Yibo has been very tired from the busy schedule: SDC4, the new movie,…so it’s a bit unclear to me whether he was also sad. But he was a little teary in the last episode 🥺
Yibo has alway been a wonderful example for the youth. He's the living proof that success is obtained only through hard work and the strength to face adversities (even his heart condition and injuries couldn't stop him from training, learning, and working hard), not to mention that he's hugely talented. Those who let him go are shooting themselves in the foot. However, if important values are not considered as they deserve and all that's seen is a beautiful face, I'd say good riddance for him. I'm just sad because for Yibo DDU was not a way to showcase himself but his happy place where he could be with his brothers 😢 I can't thank you enough for this precious videos that, as I expected, is based on research and insight. Also, it's so nice to see your face too 🤩 And to end my too long comment.... Love and support to Yibo forever! 💚💚💚💚💚
very well said and i totally agree...it does sound like they're banning people based on their looks and don't take into consideration the hard work that some of them had put into their careers. this movement is def steering the country backwards and it's frustrating as an int'l fan for sure. but yes, let's continue to support yibo! hopefully he'll get some rest during this downtime 💚💚💚
@@helloyibo85 It'll be nice if they take more personal approach and consider idols one by one, cos some are mostly pretty faces and some are so much more then that and can influence younglings with such great things as hard working, staying true to yourself, overcoming obstacles, not worrying to make mistakes, confidence and so on and on. It was nice to see your face, you have wonderful eyes!
I agree. With Yibo's very busy schedule, he could have chosen to stop being a host at DDU but then again, this was the first show which gave him a new career, a new beginning when UNIQ disbanded and I think Yibo was very grateful for this. And as the weeks, months and years went by, he not only found close friends, but a family, in his DDU brothers. So yes, he stayed in DDU because it was his happy place. And although his schedule was so busy, thoughts of leaving DDU was never an option because I think for him, it was not a job to do. He was just truly happy there so why would he want to leave a place where he felt happy and accepted right?
I'm a 70 yr old woman, and love Wang Yibo. I've seen his dramas and he's an amazing actor. He is to me, the epitome of a strong Chinese young man. There is nothing he can't do. There is nothing "sissy" about him. His private life is not my nor anyone else's business. What he gives to the public is a strong sense of Chinese values and he has participated in martial arts and Chinese heritage. Not all of Chinese history is something to be proud of as a big history buff and one who has read extensively on Eastern cultures I have to say just like a lot of countries some of the past history is not something to be proud of. Yet a lot of their culture is unique. It's no longer a feudal culture and there are no longer wars over Territories. A lot of the culture from thousands of years is quite remarkable. Be it clothing or the farming tools, swordsmanship and especially medicine. Medicine is one of the most amazing things about Eastern culture. We are still using a lot of those centuries old techniques and herbs, acupuncture today. I have for many years used a lot of these remedies myself. If you've ever had acupuncture you should try it. It is amazing and works. Maybe that's why I'm almost 71 yrs and still healthy. But I think their fear of westernization is their biggest problem. They have a lot of distain for some of western culture. I can understand because our culture had gone off the rails. But all that said I think that the idolization of talented young people had their country at odds with so many netizens online fighting and even causing great damage to some honest, decent talented actors and musicians. It's sad when what people say online can damage someone else's life. It's just happened to fast in China for people to get used to it. Now it can be a life or death situation for some riding stars. Plus there is so much importance put on their personal lives that something small can be their undoing. So in effect these personalities have to live perfectly. There is also a lot of importance put on celebrities to do "good works". A lot of pressure for them. Something other celebrities from other parts of the world do on their own if they chose to. It makes no sense to me that you need a BA. to be in the entertainment industry. The license is equivalent to some of the standards other countries have. But not everyone can afford college. I didn't go to college till I was 41yrs. But I had been to a nursing program and was a board certified nurse. I got my BSN at age 42. I did 4 full years of college in 2 yrs. It diminish my ability as a nurse but those letters mean a lot when it comes to a job, not so much the pay. Do I think China is going through an adjustment period and trying to figure out how to keep their values intact while adjusting to this new era which has become world famous. Given time I think they will adjust and it will be okay. Wang Yibo was definitely hurt by what Hunan did to him. It was obvious. But he remains steadfast and is continuing to thrive. He is a good decent young man and deserves all the happiness this life has to offer. So God Bless him and I pray for his safety health and happiness.
I agree. Wang Yibo is very determined, strong inside and sweet outside, very charming and respectful. He does all with all his heart, he is a very honest and trustable person. I admire him a lot and adore his voice not mentioning his smile and stylish clothes.
Eventhough yibo is not on DDU anymore no one can stop Yibo garnering more fans because he shows coldnesss but when you watch him he is warm, talented and a harworker he always shows positivity that makes people idolize him.
Damn. Yi Bo is not an influencer. He is a true role model. A unique exception. I am honored to follow him. I wish TV had more 'influencers' like Him...
I believe Yibo is "beautiful" because he looks young and has delicate complexion (sweet smiles of course), not because he looks like a girl. He is this popular not because of his looks alone but it is his talents and positive energy that attracts the fans. I think Chinese government has gone a bit too far. This is 21st century. You are supposed to punish bad guys not beating up good guys.
You're right. Yibo looks a lot like his mother, so it's not his fault if he has delicate features. I guess it's easier for them to make good guys disappear than scouring the Internet and punish those who cyberstalk and cyberbully 😣
@@helloyibo85 Thanks for your support. I tried not so say strong words for fear that I'll get you in trouble with the government. I visit your channel very often but didn't comment. This time it's so irritating I couldn't help saying something. May be the next ten years this conservative gov would be replaced with younger generations things might improve.
When the auditions started for the shiong di plus the producer’s explanation, I already got a foreboding feeling about the whole thing. TTXS took up a lot of Yibo’s time in terms of his scheduling but it was his weekly happy place 😢. I also feel it was a combination of reasons/circumstances that had him leave (yes, I feel he’s left the show since he stopped appearing). This has left a gap in my heart and it’s not about not being able to see him on a weekly basis but rather his assured weekly comfort place is now gone😭😭. Despite what many complained about, I felt he learned a lot on TTXS, especially about culture and food (the food he always got the eat😢, it was like a reassurance to his fans that he was at least well fed on the show). On the other hand, I hope this presents him a better “opportunity” (for lack of a better word) to pursue the dreams he’s been prioritizing like more (and better) acting opportunities and perhaps (hope it’s not wishful thinking) more structured down time. Wang Yibo, I will take whatever I can get to see how you’re thriving and being busy as long as you’re happy, safe, and loved. My wish is always for your comfort and well-being. I love this video format, btw. It’s nice to have a change up once in awhile and always lovely to see your gorgeous face 😘.
Also the tryout for the shiong di, they were in college or just graduated, so that was a big tell. That way haters won't be able to complain about the new shiong di's not having a license. Yibo always got flack because it was always constantly being brought up.
yes, absolutely agree about ddu being yibo's happy place despite a strenuous schedule 😢 and tbh, the show was not the same since feng ge left...i'm also hoping that when one door opens, another will open and that yibo can get some rest during this time and focus on his acting career. also, thank you for the feedback dear 💚🥰
Count me in,admire wang yibo no matter what happens, still here, support and love him always,im one of those billions fans of him, fan from Philippines.
New policy or no policy at all, contract or no contract, I will still choose Wang Yibo. He is a hardworking man, a very smart man, a transparent man, a man with principle! A good example to represent his generation and motivate the young people! Pretty boy? So what he’s pretty? He’s more than just pretty, he’s good-looking, tall, and handsome!!!
I really liked to follow DDU every week, learn about the traditions, science, art, gastronomy, customs, beauty of Chinese cities, I also admired the true friendship of the four animators, Wang Yibo is a great entertainer, I will keep the beautiful memories of the program, I sincerely hope that you continue with all the positive energy in the new projects that my beautiful angel Wang Yibo has ahead. 💐🌻🌹💚💚💚💚👍👍👍👍
I don't really like how the Chinese government (?) or the public (?) treat their celebrities especially the ones that they considered as "Liuliang", like they using them to promote the Chinese culture or something like that because they have a large fanbase and after that they just acting like they don't have any talent and the only reason why they have a huge fanbase is because of their visual. And I also hate that they think that if males wearing make up then they should be ashamed because they look like woman. I mean, why should you ashamed for looking like a woman/more feminine? Do they think that woman is something bad or what? Why do they hate male idols just for breaking gender norms? So what's next, they going to set up a rule which female celebs couldn't wear things except dress, heels and make up? I understand the purpose of the Cleanup (Qinglang) Movement is to clean up the chaotic fanbase culture in China and there's nothing wrong to set some rules so that the fanbase culture (?) in China can be more organized (?) less chaotic (?) but I think that the most important thing is to educate their youth to not over worshiping idol instead of setting rules like these. And I think that the movement is somehow restrict celebs from China to be more famous in international. Edit : And I don't really understand how education and entertainment industry are related? Like you don't have to graduate from college to know how to sing/act/dance, right? (Sorry for my bad English)
According to what I've seen so far, female celebs are already dressed as you say 😑 I also think that the cleanup movement should start with parents, not with artists. Underage fans are very likely students so all the money they squander comes from their parents who, apparently, don't care about what they do with it. Same with over-worshiping artists: since when parents leave teaching how to do life to the government instead of teaching them themselves? Something is really odd.
Totally agree. We are now in the 21st century where we should be breaking norms and stereotyped. Just because they wear makeup and earrings as expression of their craft (on tv) means they wore them in private. It's like we wear uniform and certain type of accessories for work requirements means we wore them out of work.
Thank you. You've basically represented all my thoughts and opinion abt qinglang policies. It's clearly taking away all the fun side of the entertainment, and I feel really sorry for all those idol trainees who've spent their teenage years in training and are now waiting for their chances to debut, becuz qinglang will definitely affect their future. I also heard that ever since the public found out abt Yibo and DLS resigning from DDU, the show ratings have gone down significantly. I think once they both are gone it will get worse.
Agreed! Ppl even questioning his education background...dude has finish high-school in Korea, one of Korea prestige art high-school at that...these then lead to these: Like, not enough education=no future...is that even fair? I mean, not everyone have the luxury to afford to have a degree not only because of IQ, it's because of time constraints, money constraints etc... this is just absurd imo, what a way to bring ppl down...
Wang Yibo doesn’t need DD. He has become way more successful now than if he had stayed on that show. He has become a talented actor and dancer. He is an international success. UT is still popular. You can’t control talent. When your good your good. He is not appreciated as he should be. I’m a older women and I will follow WY for a long time. He is a true idol. Loved by many❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
like you said, there are many reasons and I think it can all come down to one point. ddu no longer brings much benefit to yibo and dls. take yibo for example, before he gradually got more popular, ddu was technically his only job. It was the only show that put him in front of a large audience every single week. it was exposure plus the fact that ddu and hunan TV treat him well, it was yibo's safe space in the industry. but its different now because yibo naturally gets attention in the industry. He's busy filming until early hours of the morning, packed schedule etc. commiting to a weekly schedule becomes tougher. that's why it wasn't as surprising to me that yibo left, at least not as surprising as dls. but I also think them not having a proper leaving isn't necessarily a bad thing. After all, every host that left with a proper goodbye never appeared on the show again. maybe it's sign that they can come back as guests whenever they are free. After all, yibo and dls have good relationships with ddu and hunan TV so it's not hard or impossible at all.
that's a great point about them not having a proper farewell episode. i do hope it could signify a comeback in the future. we do know they'll be able to appear as guests and although i'm a bit doubtful about them returning as hosts, i'll be keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
Thank you for researching this and sharing it with us. When you mentioned "traffic," it stuck with me because, when I was watching Yibo's video for "No Sense," I was confused by the lyrics at 2:52, when he mentions "traffic." After rewatching his video, I think the lyrics support your theory that leaving DDU was not a choice he made voluntarily. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W3R4_gdtQRk.html I agree that DDU was a source of emotional support for Yibo, and I also think he considered Han Ge to be a father figure. I don't think he would have left without external pressures. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xfzEfkQDuRg.html I am really sad that these policies are hurting Wang Yibo, and others like him. He is very hard working, thoughtful, and talented, and I really hope that he knows that we appreciate him and support him through thick and thin.
I actually only watched DDU because of Yibo. Seeing him break out of his quiet and serious persona was always a great time. But he really did have a super busy schedule and if there really is an exclusivity clause with Hunan, it's good he left because then he wouldn't have been able to do Street Dance of China (can't wait for S5 to start so I can watch it!!) He is a super hard working person who dearly cares about the people he gets close to and to see how he was after Qian Feng's situation was really hard on him. I wish him all the best but I seriously hope he gets rest now for a bit. I need to see my Yibo-di in more stuff but looking healthy while doing it!
Yes, if given a choice I think he would have chosen not to leave. For whatever reason it's still a pity Yibo had to leave the show😞 Not seeing him more often is the saddest part...😭
exactly...i feel like even though he had a tough scheduling flying back and forth, he still chose to stay with the show for so many years because it was the place that chose him before he got popular 😔
If indeed true that Wang Yibo and Da Zhangwei have left ‘Day Day Up’ then it is a real crying shame, talk about cutting one’s nose off to spite one’s own face …. Hunan TV & Day Day Up’s loss. Day Day Brothers were an ideal team, their individual differences seamlessly complimented each other well, they were able to bring out the best for each other while ‘polyfil’ any gaps, what a shame and short sightedness to end an excellent group for the shake of bureaucracy #心闻
Honestly my selfish self is sad bc we won't see him as often (I'm miss him so much already and yea no SDC to fill the gap) but no matter what the reason is for his leaving, it might be for the best. I think he was loyal to the show and felt comfortable at DDU but the back and forth traveling had to be so exhausting. And yea he looked super sad 😢 that last episode. It'd be nice if another show snatches him up but only if it fits his schedule and makes him happy. Also I liked this format ☺️ and thank you for your thoughts.
i agree..i think if it were up to yibo to decide, he likely won't leave the show despite how tiring his travels were...but i guess one door closes and another opens. i feel like celebs need to lie low right now and i hope yibo can take this time to get some much needed rest.
oh well Chinese culture was being spread through those shows and actors, like really they have attracted many many international fans wanting to learn Mandarin and culture. And with all these "improvement and modifications" I really doubt anyone will be watching them anymore.
yeah...the popularity and viewership of their shows will def suffer 😔 but the gov prob doesn't care about this...which I really can't wrap my head around
Yes...it's so sad they leave DDU...😢😭 But,I understand the reasons..😔 It's maybe blessing in disguise for him too...(he ,once said want to improve his acting skill and take different role) I also hear some rumor ,he will not back to SDC 5....but he get lot of things in plan already. As for Da laushi, I think he in some variety show in Youku... SO they're will be fine. Hunan TV got lot scandals 😔😔😔 C entertainment kind of "scary "and unpredictable now...so better stay lay low... Thank for sharing and nice chat 😊💚
agreed...it's def better for them to stay low for now since the "cleanup" is still in full motion. for sdc5, it might be a good thing that yibo doesn't join so he can focus on his acting
Thanks to know about Wang Yibo in ddup.I understand what will happen.even me,same openion just like your speech. We hope someday Wang Yibo have another great show for him.I always love and support him no matter what..for me only Wang Yibo is the best of all👍😙💚💚💚
He definitely didn't leave of his own will, or there would have been a goodbye episode for Yibo. Agreed definitely related to the Happy Camp closure as well. While I do think that Chinese fanbases are insanely, unhealthily chaotic, and is long overdue for an overhall, however Yibo has done so much to introduce international fans to Chinese culture and give China a positive impression to the world, I'm sad to lose that. It seems like Yibo's entire career is being rebuilt again and sadly we won't be seeing nearly as much of him as we used to 😭
Any format will do for me as long as its about our gorgeous Yibo💚💚💚💚💚 Indeed who pick our YIBO soon will be so lucky to have him on there show.... I miss him I used to see him before almost everyday(I mean from airport to ddu taping and Monday)💚💚💚💚💚🥰🥰🥰❣❣❣❣
oh yeah...you're right...there's going to be less content of him at the airport too...but i hope that he'll at least be able to get some rest during this time and hopefully we'll be able to see him in a new show soon 🤞
Indeed, different countries have different cultures and rules to govern their nation, but for me Yibo is a very influential idol which the youth look upon to he’s a living example of hard work and deep dedication that youth should follow his influence had a huge impact giving inspiration and hope for every youth that dreams do come true and success can be achieve, a legacy which at a very young age Yibo has instill to every youth all over China that in spite of hardships we can achieve everything if we just put our heart and soul to it... his pure intention is to inspire and entertain his fans, What ever happens Yibo we’re here to support and pray for your safety and success... “always look at the beauty of life even in the midst of hardships you see or feel for it is what makes you shine among the rest” God bless you always 🥰❤️😊👍
I think da Zang wei have license to host but because of not letting yibo host DDU of course he feel bad also so. It's better not to host also, they dnt know that the popularity of Wang yibo make the DDU popular esp. Us foreign country, we love yibo presence in DDU, your lost DDU TV show,
You're right, they left us hanging! No official announcement from any of them. And we're like.....now what? Besides, MangoTV uploads snippets of Yibo in old DDU episodes like every single hour, every single day! That just annoys me somehow! His drama - (Wind from) Luoyang will be airing from Dec 1 onwards and his movie (Peacekeeping Unit - not sure if title is correct) in Jan 2022. Let's hope his long-awaited drama - Ice, Rain, Fire will follow soon. And let's gang up and continue to support Yibo to our level best 💚 Stay safe!
omg right? i was just thinking that when some past members left, they had a farewell episode but there was nothing for yibo or dls 😔 mango is probably uploading yibo snippets since the views of their new episodes without him has plummeted...i'm def not watching anymore. also, yes to his new drama and movie coming out soon! 💚💚
Yup, no proper bidding of farewell….although I’m not sure I could bear to watch a farewell for both Yibo & DLS 😅. Maybe if there’s really a farewell, at the end of the recording….it might be too much for Han Ge and he might just scrap the farewell and get both to stay…..wishful thinking ☺️ And yes, I stopped watching too….I tried to watch, but stopped after less than 10 minutes. As much as I wanted to support Han Ge, it was tough. Perhaps I was biased….can’t help it 😅 Soooo looking forward to his drama and movie! ❤️ Likewise, looking forward to more videos from you 😉 Cheers!
Thank you so much ! I LOVE how reasonable you are when you comment - your videos are entertaining .. always... but I love that you have this serious (and accurate) side to the channel too. Much appreciated and of course you have our continued support in whatever you choose to do with your channel. All the best for the future and beyond !!
I actually never considered these speculations! I assumed that Yibo wanted to depart for his own activities, which is also unlikely because he loves DDU. He has grown so much from being a host and I agree on his expansion of popularity from being on the show. The reason I thought he left was because his interview from his My Legacy documentary, he stated his schedule is impacted so he hardly has time for hobbies. With his newfound fame, it's obvious he is bound to star in new dramas, movies, films, etc. Not to mention he's versatile in performing, along with his passion for motorcycle racing. I figured he would have wanted to expand on becoming an actor, mentor, and participate in more races. Though it may not be a speculation, I hope to see Yibo in more dramas/films! With a lighter schedule, maybe he can continue pursuing the hobbies he loves so much! Either way, we'll all support Yibo no matter where he goes! 💚
@@thisiskevin1000 hmm please explain to me why you sound so certain that their departure isn't because of the cleanup? yibo basically grew up on ddu and i don't think he'd leave on his own tbh (yes, his schedule was tough but he literally grew up with the 3 ddu brothers). also, to have this happen at the same time that the cleanup was implemented? and at the same time that the qian feng scandal broke out, AND have dls leave at the same time? when too many aspects match up, it becomes much more than a mere coincidence
His drama Winds of Luoyang will be airing December 1st on iQiYi and is scheduled to have 41 episodes. Plus one of his fans asked Yamaha when Tracer85 would be back and they said in 2022, so there are those few things to look forward to. I am just wondering if he will be on a NYE show and get to sing a new song this year as in previous years.
Now I'm tensed about Yibo..........because he is a great Influencer in China right now.......not just chinese fans international fans like me also look forward to him so eagerly.........I hope he is happy and will be for his whole life..........and will give us lots of movies, dramas and shows........God bless him.........hope for the best
It's OK that Wang yibo. Is not there anymore so that we will not watch DDU anymore, and dnt understand the people of China, they are bullying their own artist,
I honestly think that the government (at this point) would rather totally ruin their economy and industries (including entertainment) than lose (perceived) power.. It’s becoming way too extreme for my liking.. (I’m also getting a weird Cold War Russia feeling from what’s been happening in China, I guess history does always repeat itself.. I just hope this fall won’t be as bad though.. Because it’s always the people that suffer..)
@@Mello_Loves_Mujin I totally agree with you. Most countries are moving towards freedom for the people. This country is all about control and being conservative. If it weren't for Yibo, I wouldn't become interested in CN entertainment industry.
Having good looks is also troublesome these days..... Whatever another path he takes further, I can just support and love him with all sincerity. What is happening at present we have no say in it, we can just wish for best what is to come ahead.... I know for sure, Yibo is gonna make his own path through these tough times...... Yes he will feel sad and unhappy, who doesn't??? He is a human too... But based on his nature and attitude towards Life and work he will prove yet again that he is a King💚💚💚
A arte sobreviverá! Eu creio! Que venham mais e mais artistas como WANG YIBO! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🇧🇷
Thank you for making this vid! It's very helpful to get a sense of what might have gone on. I do wish they'd gotten an actual goodbye episode. It's so sad they just disappeared after all those years. It's a rough time as a Yibo fan, I got so used to seeing him every week on DDU, and now it's so quiet. It's definitely an adjustment!
Thanks, I've been following this issue and reading some related articles. I was very sad when everyone resigned, but there are some aspects and regulations. Yeah, I think this will be the best for them, for their future works. For me, they have done their best, and SDC 3 n 4 I will always enjoy without getting bored. 谢谢
Thanks for this update it was much appreciated. For me your presentation deserved some applause as in highlighting factors impacting the show giving a logical conclusion for their departure and how the show tried to deal with it in stages. The saying is ...all good things comes to an end, As an yibo fan I hops he does another show of sorts as we get a chance to see him and his antics,.
i love this soooo much! you need to do more videos like this 💚 you're unbiased and i can tell you put in a lot of research for this video and all of your analyses is based off of facts and not rumors. the haters need to gtfo and get a life. thank you for all your hard work and YESSS i love seeing your face! keep up the great work!
thank you so much for this video!! 💚 it's extremely helpful, especially for us international fans. it's so hard to encounter a channel that genuinely is a fan and tries to stay neutral in their opinions and presents facts, rather than rumors. thank you so much for this. very well presented and i love seeing your face!! 🥰 keep up the good work! will always support you 💚
I remember I used to always watch all of the day ups videos, because yibo was in it. I also remember coming to this video when it was first posted devastated , can’t believe it’s already been a year 💔💔
Thanks for this- you pulled a lot together and yeah I like seeing your face 💜 Yibo is an inspiration in his drive and dedication to success and on DDU he has shown so many traditional Chinese things to the youth that watch because of him. I think the sweep is responsible- he has much influence for his age and sadly, that scares people in power. Not just in this culture but in most- this is just a very visible attempt to thwart it in mass. We love him and will support no matter what
Thank you so much for this video 💚 it’s been heartbreaking the way this ending happened, and I really appreciate you organizing all the context and sharing your thoughts. My sense has also been that it was probably mostly about the crackdown. So sad to think yibo was forced out of the home base that ddu was for him, and also a big loss for fans. My hope is that this lets him rest more! And thankfully he seems to be very well loved by people in his life, so I imagine he’s being well supported in this transition. Thank you for this video!
💚💚💚 thank you for watching~ and i totally agree about yibo being well-loved by those in his life...imagining that they're supporting him through this transition makes me feel better, so thank you 💚
so sad for yibo, he already got a big fandom..hoping for his fandom to be more responsible.. keep lowkey, keep calm and just enjoy his exposure.. it's a big help to keep his spotlight to where he is today... jiayou yibo..
An interesting update, glad I clicked! Good job, 👍👍 The way I see it, it is the variety show's loss. Perhaps Yi Bo can now get some proper "down time" in between his busy2 schedule. I watched SDC4 and noticed he looked tired a lot of the time. Makeup went some way towards masking this. I wish him good health, good fortune, love and strength from family and friends. As for his fans, be respectful of his privacy, pls.
thank you for this clear and organised video! I think you're really good at making this type of content, it was structured yet not artificial in any way, I feel like I had a good conversation with another fan ^^ hopefully we'll see Yibo in another show !
👍hay this is soo good and comforting for a international fan that someone talks about yibo in person.pls pls keep up the good work and present something from you as a person.your presentation is sooo good
Thanks for the Vedio & in depth discussion. Going to miss our Leo.. but I think everything happens for the best.. hoping to see what's stored in future.
Excellent video! Thank you very much for your clear explanation and analysis regarding DDU, the Chinese govt entertainment industry "cleanup" and the possible unfortunate subsequent effects on Yibo. Despite this, I firmly believe he will continue to succeed in his endeavors as an artist and entertainer. Good news! He has a new drama which will begin airing Dec. 1st! Please keep up your great work! You have a new follower and subscriber here!🥰
Thank you for this clear explanation .I too is a person who is disheartened by missing the four hosts in the show. But I hope thats for their betterment .I am sure Yibos talents will lift him more and more in the entertainment industry .So lets wish him happy and succes.💚💚💚Also I am so glad for your videos as u always posted about my favorite idol Yibo💚💚💚Its sad not to see him often. But It will give him more rest and time.💚💚💚And I wish he and DDU family bond will remain behind the screen as they were a second family to Yibo💚💚💚
Thank you for your video. I appreciate the info. Found Yibo through The Untamed. Love his character and style. Love his amazing motorcycle races and, of course, his dancing. Thank you. I'll have to watch more of your content to vote. This way of presenting info seemed quite fine.
As an international older fan I'm sure whatever the reason for yibo leaving in the end can only be good for himself by that I mean he is a very be dedicated young man in all he does but his constant flying back an forward for ddu I'm sure was taking its toll on his health so if nothing else he may have just a little time to rest this is just my opinion it's not meant in anyway to upset or offend love from Britain 🇬🇧 yibo xx
😢 i feel you...i haven't been able to bring myself to watch any old episodes...and i'm def not watching the show now that there's basically no one left on it 😔
Thank you so much for the video! There’s been so much info, speculation and fan opinions that it’s been hard to work out what is fact and what is just fan rumours. I can tell you did so much research into this and really presented the facts rather than going on what you believe. Although I did also appreciate insights into what you personally think after looking into it. And I completely agree with your thoughts. While I understand the Chinese government trying to regulate fandoms (cause let’s face it, some aspect of fandom culture is toxic - all fandoms, all over the world, not just Yibo’s), it’s kind of horrifying to see them cracking down on anyone that is deemed to have more influence over public opinion than the government. But that’s a whole other topic! I just wanted to drop a comment to say thank you for this video. And I think that, in future, I would love to see more like this that informs those of us who aren’t able to keep up with everything that’s going on. But I also love all your other videos, when I discovered Yibo earlier this year, your videos helped me to understand more about him and the people on his life. So thank you for all hard work! Keep it up ☺️💚
i'm really glad to hear that this video was helpful (and some of my past videos too!). the worst is really not having closure and seeing them just disappear without any proper acknowledgement 😔 i feel like i was able to find some closure after looking further into this. i'll def be doing other edits on top of more serious vids like this one. thank you for your support! 💚
Thank you for this breakdown. I don't think I have seen anyone else be as straight forward and logical about this and lay it out so succinctly. Part of me is afraid for WYB and what the government might do to him because they will not allow anyone to have more influence then them. While another part of me thinks, sure keep cracking down and the people will get angier and angrier until something snaps which could be good or bad. I enjoy your videos no matter the format you use, so please pick what works best for you, your schedule and your mental health. 💜
thank you for your kind words dear 💚 i'll likely save this format for more serious topics like this one...and i totally agree about feeling nervous for yibo...maybe his departure from ddu is a good thing, so that he can focus on his acting career and get some rest (also, he won't get chased around by mobs of fans at the airport anymore 🥺)
Thank you so much for your insight ! It explains to me a lot of this ... let's hope he gonna be happy what ever he is doing ! And yes I love your hairs !!!!!
Thank you so much for this video. I think it explains a lot of things to us international fans. I mean for me at least. I’ve only recently been a fan so I only consider myself a “casual fan” who still do not know a lot about him and his activities. Also, obviously I’m not chinese and I don’t live in china so I don’t really understand much how china and chinese culture works, but I really don’t agree with the way how they handle their entertainment industry. I mean, some of their reasons for limiting idol influences is totally *out* of an idols control. Like, if a fan does something, there’s a 90% chance they did it out of their fangirl/fanboy’s heart , but then again, it goes to show how much influence the idol has on fans. Anyway, also regarding the “liuliang”? I think it’s unfair. Most of the idols who has effeminate feature isn’t even their fault. Like, is it Yibo’s fault he was born to be beautiful? Of course not. So what, wearing less make up and accessories will lessen his beauty? Of course not. That’s just ridiculous. I just hope Yibo is okay and is now really worrying about these things. I hope he is physically, emotionally and mentally healthy. I wish all the best for him and for more people to appreciate not just his pretty face but also his talents.
totally agree and maybe letting him focus on his acting career for now may be a good move to prove himself as a competent and talented actor, rather than just a "pretty face" 💚
You covered literally everything so hats off to that! 💚👏 secondly I literally so exhausted with china controlling the entrainment industry in general I get the fact that they want to control fans Good! They should some are deadass stalkers 😵 But artists? I mean them putting out that we need masculine Men (while showing picture of tom Cruise from mission impossible who had MAKEUP ON HIS FACE IN THE POSTER) rather than the one who puts makeup on like they are artists one who entertain viewer ain't nobody gonna catch them if they don't stand out 😒 I do get the part where they wanna spread Chinese culture but not everywhere... SDC4 was literally fully based on Chinese culture that I-Fans were exhausted the foreign dancer were really going through difficulties to dance on traditional songs... There were surely some bomb performances but the minute somebody would switch to English or French.. nah... You ain't getting point.. 😑😑😑 idk it's just shows how heavy Chinese government hand in on the entrainment industry specially this year... And I am honestly scared if they gonna cut of I-Fans to watch any dramas or variety shows anytime soon
a lot of great points and i totally agree. the popularity and viewership of their shows (both variety shows and dramas) will def suffer if they are only going to focus on chinese culture tbh or only feature regular people on shows. how is that even considered entertainment? lol it sounds more like propaganda to me 😑 i guess we'll see how strict they are...i feel like everyone just needs to lie low right now. and about sdc4...i mean, the entire show fed off of international viewers with so many international dancers...it makes me wonder how they're going to "recruit" more i-dancers for sdc5 like they mentioned 🤔
YOU ARE SO PRETTY 💖🌸🌼😍 I guess a "vlog" format for updates like this one is okay 👌🏽👍🏽. Thank you for all your time and effort just to give us wonderful videos. Keep it up and take care always 🤗😊
hehe thank you dear! 🥰💚 and yes, i'll likely alternate between this format and ones where i'll just be speaking for more serious topics like this one 👍
Well I'm not sad at the fact that we won't see him that often . We all know that he is an introvert person he takes time to be comfortable around people and this is the only place he was comfortable working at and he talked a lot here but now he will be working at new places every day and that is I don't think that it is his comfort zone so it will be hard I am not sad at the fact that we won't stay see him everyday this is a place he was really comfortable and now he won't be able to enjoy himself that often.
I loved this video! So informative! haha I'm writing my thesis (while getting distracted by Wang Yibo) about Korean and Chinese soft power and I was NOT expecting this video to be so useful. I would love to see some more!
Great breakdown and I liked seeing your face! Love the hair! Sad about Yibo but hopeful it'll lead to something better. He's in a way stronger bargaining position than before DDU
Yibo Wang is working so hard. At the moment. So many Jobs..No Times to Relax and Enjoy. Hope He Tak care good himself. Trying to take some time off. Love you always Yibo. You are Amazing young Astor got talented 💚🌻🌄💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚❤👍🔥
hi dear, i really loved this video not only because your greats explanations but also we can see you you're really beautiful >//////< anyway, the sad thing it's with all these new regulations is that we lost the funny part of these show i still watching DDU but it's kinda boring now without yibo and DLS
hi dear 🥰 yes, for sure...imo, the show has lost its charm without yibo, dls, and feng ge 😔 i watched the show bc of yibo but the ddu brothers all grew on me and with only han ge...i'm not sure i'll be watching it anymore. if you recommend any of the new episodes though, let me know! :)
Thank you for this information; I have now idea what are the reasons or the specualtions why Yibo left DDU. I actually like this type of video where we could see your face! Looking forward to your next one~ 💚💚💚
I hope Yibo will have more activities even after he left the variety show & streetdance china. I love listening to his music specially the Untamed songs and watching him dance.
Thank you for sharing your summary and information. I have also been wondering and waiting for more information and feeling at a loss being an international fan and so far away. I really appreciate you making the effort to give us this video.
i'm glad this was helpful! but yeah...i know how you feel as a fellow international fan...i was hoping for some official announcement but it doesn't look like we'll get it 😔
I enjoyed your video immensely. You were very clear, you did your research and presented it effectively. Please do more of these like this. I like that you posted the issue with data and facts to back it up. Thumbs waaaaayyy up!!! Jiayou Yibo!!!
Thank you for this video! As someone who can't speak nor read Chinese, when something like this happens I have to sit back and be confused. It's really nice to feel like I have an idea of what's going on e.g. the clean-up the ccp (is this an ok term to use?) is doing. Have to agree that other shows would be lucky to have him. I mean for starters his team won both S3 & 4 of SDC, but all the other stuff he does/has accomplished means he is a person with experience, not just a 'pretty face'.
thanks for the elaboration , it is like it was just about time for him to leave , dls leaving was of course a surprise but also understandable of course with yibo out am no longer able to follow the program as i see it has lost its charm since am used to the 4 host, i even think like it is even forced hand that led to the government doing the clean up, i mean as much as yibo was enjoying his place there , there were pple continuously trying to remove him from the show and it can be seen since 2019 maybe because he got a daily platform and where he could relax others felt jelous and the toxicity of fans was really seen by online slander and cyberbully towards him and even those close to him and the show. but everything have to have an end and yibo left in peace and no fuss involved regrettable but happy it is so annoying that i see the way the cnetz act and man hunt celebrities they leave no stone unturned to bring someone's downfall, and yibo has been strong just holding up and trying to hold up the thread of his career in his hands hoping to succeed with his own hardwork, the term am sure most of yibo's fans are grown ups and mature to know what is right and wrong but we have to admit there are also irrational fans who bring trouble to others and sometimes yibo fans cannot sit quiet when other fandoms bad mouth yibo for being who he is and working hard and this exchange of course leads to negative view the fandom is labeled toxic yet that is not the case , we all just admire yibo and want him to be healthy , work and be successful. and i believe that yibo fans in china and international fans understand the situation and will stand by him no matter what by the way i loved your detailed video analysis , it is nice you gave a clear and factual analysis to what is there and this method of sharing information is good , i will appreciate if u make videos like this in the future
i agree...it's almost as if people can't stand to see him appearing on the show every week...cnetz can be quite toxic, unfortunately 😔 and i know nothing good lasts forever but the only thing i'm sad about is that yibo no longer has his happy place with his ddu brothers. let's continue to support him and thank you for your feedback 💚💚💚
Our new reality... can't do much but keep to support Yibo in his endeavour...yeah, I agree with your conclusion...they def won't leave DDU if they have a choice. Thank you for your effort for discussing this. Nicely done!
You can tell that outside forces caused the departure because they JUST made a new opening for the show after having the same one for a couple of years. It's a shame, but Yibo will be okay overall. He's very hard working and resilient and as he's said in the past, he's got life options if the celeb life doesn't work out.
I think for Yibo leaving DDU is better for him. He's already very successful in the industry and don't think he needs to stay on the show to gain fan base or popularity. With all his hectic schedule, it's already tough to do a weekly show. I am a bit surprised of DLS leaving and guessing it is due to what happen to Feng Ge. I think It's a loss for DDU actually, Yibo attract so many international fan base for this show. Chinese government controlling celebrities is pretty much the same in my country. A decade ago actresses are banned for being wearing too sexy clothes(which is mini-skirt) consider damaging the tradition and culture. Actors are either left out on performance awards or banned for not taking part in government policy or the so called educational movies. No celebrities should supersede government influencing power. You will get either banned or arrested. Anyway, Thank you for the video. Any type of format is okay.
I wanna thank you again for bringing this content! I feel very sad with all that! But let's just pray they'll have many better offerts in the future!!! Also! I loved seeing you! I love all your videos, so I'm happy with whatever you do!
Si no fue a la universidad no pasa nada ya que no ahí más licenciatura que la vida y el duro trabajo que pasó yibo para tiene todas las licenciaturas del mundo ❤️🇪🇸👍😊
👍🏼thank you so much for a look into chinese culture and what is happening. I am from America and would love to know the reasons and your insightful opinions really helped me to understand. 🙏🏽👊keep up the great work and you look amazing whiling explaining💗
It's their (DDU) loss not to Yibo...Wang Yibo is still Wang Yibo...with his talents (multi-talented), skills and attitude that's what people love him... I like this kind of format 👍👍👍
I found that it's saddening that they weren't even allowed to say goodbye properly to the audience and the fact that they were arranged to sit as a guest means that it was a last minute decision. Looked like they forgot to inform both that they were laid off and both showed up to work so they have to put them somewhere. It's just so dehumanizing to do that to them 🤦♀️ There's no way anyone who were leaving voluntarily would be treated that way. Whatever that happened already did, I guess they just want past be past, after all 1 of them are still hosting so maybe they don't want the last of them to fall too
Thank you for this, it was enjoyable to watch and I agree with you 🥺. It sucks it has to end this way but I’ll stay hopeful. No matter what I just want them to make the best decisions for themselves.
same...i hope yibo can get some rest during this time, and his drama is coming out soon. i think da laoshi will be on a new show on youku, so they'll be fine 💚
@@helloyibo85 thank you for the update! I will miss watching them together (but now I’ll look forward to his née show). I’m catching up on a lot of ddu episodes. I will be well fed for now haha 💚
