Strange.. people says how much they dislike President Xi and CPC methods of governance , and yet loves the result of it.... Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore did the same thing. I rather have a strong leader that puts the people first than entertain international ideology...
The illusion that democracy is the only way to have a good governance. The fact is democracy system can be corrupted thru many means and very expensive, and a way for elite politician to keep in powers. It can be as justification that the elite politician elected by the people, even though behind the scene they do not serve their constituents but the lobbyist whom finance their campaign. Democracy also can be used as a reason to attack other country example Panama, Libya, Iraq etc. In my opinion as long any system of governance prioritize the welfare, increasing the quality of life and the prosperity's of its people can be acceptable. Every country is unique due to language, culture and multi ethnicity, therefore what good for one country is not necessary right for others.
Easy, they just tell themselves that all the good things happened in China are because of capitalisms, and all the bad things are the result of communisms. So that their brain can continue to be function.
What he saying is absolutely correct. The workforce in india has no idea on the quality of the work. They just want to finish the work. If we ask they blame the weather, tool, or anything they could imagine. As I am an Indian seeking professionalism & quality, everything here frustrate me.
Try to talk to them in a NICE WAY without judging and being impatient …so I have learned it a hard way..but really …being nice works much much better …Just an observation
No it is not easy to control. Collective west is cautious of india because of incorrection signals to India that they could carry on with assassination attempts in USA, EU, Canada and Australia.
What Bhandari say about India, should be a wake up call. I hope his extreme comments can start a process of looking inside. Our mindset and civilisation need to be changed to match with China.
@@parthapratimnathpaulnath622 indian muslims are ready to support anyone who is anti india for them slavery of west and china is bettor then strong india because for them their religion is above all they wont mind if china rule india and treat muslims like they treat in china
Jayant contradicts himself when he talked-about about President Xi. Without strong leadership in the past and present plus China's political system, culture & social structures, China will not be what it is today.
PM Modi took office in 2014, just 2 years after Xi. And except for the Ambanis and Adanis(nobody ever heard of him before 2014) the living standard of the people still remains the same if not worst. In fact the country has seen more divisions and crisis than ever before. Modi masters the art of delivering long speeches while Xi brought 600 million Chinese out of poverty.
@4:19 Jay Bhandari "Corruption is rapidly growing in India". He is wrong at this point. Corruption is NOT rapidly growing. It has reached a saturation point where the quickest way to grow rich is to be a politician. Then you have all the people by their throats choking them of Oxygen.
My family members visited an Indian power plant, they had to shut down the plant due to a monkey getting inside, rather than catch or kill the monkey, they shut the plant and waited for the animal to leave, I leave it to your imagination the business prospects in that, let's just say a peculiar one of a kind place.
Your family members were lying to you. That is the most ludicrous story ever. Next time, insert Tiger instead of Monkey, and your story might sound believable.
@@parthasri3412 I'm curious. Indians think animals are sacred. Why don't they build zoos or parks to take good care of them, but let them wander on the streets, block traffic, and eat garbage? Why? I don't understand very much.
When I go shopping, I really don't see much manufactured goods from India. Textiles / clothes from China and Bangladesh, All kinds of plastics from China. Cars manufactured in Europe, Korea, Japan, Mexico or Canada. Computers, PC's, phones of all kinds manufactured in Korea, China, Mexico. Maybe there is some software stuff that Indians cooked up in the background. A few Indian stores selling spices from India but nothing of significance. Oh, I came across Indian whiskies in Texas (now that's an achievement).
@@grizzlyfam7901 Oh, I forgot to mention, somosas are quite the favourite goto fast food in the offices. They used to be Four for a dollar. Now you get two.
One classic case which I can relate, is the "free trade zone" within India. So the company invested and setup the factory BUT when they export, their product need to go to the port, on the way it crosses state lines, and THERE they got to pay TAX !! YES, free trade zone as long as the product stay within the state, not if you need to export it....HAHAHAAA
To a lot Jayant's viewers the truth hurts. He is trying the dishonest and avaricious culture in Indian society. At the instigation of the evil admin, quite a few multi corporations moved to India, got stung , lost billions and quit.
Makes more sense to have supply chains from North America going up and down to Central and South America. India and China are too far away and by having jobs in Central and South America will stop the migration to North America
If I were living in Central or South America I'm not sure I would like working in a factory like those I've seen in China or India. If I were an industrialist, without a large workforce ready and waiting to fill my factory, I'm not sure I would be all excited about building a factory in Central or South America. Plus the trucking, railroads and ports better be really on time, efficient and able to handle the large numbers of containers. Supply Chain is easy to say but China makes it so easy to do that North Americans think that anyone can do it. Have you seen the backlogs at Long Beach lately?
"Democracy" always led to Oligarchic control. It has been that way since antiquity. Back then, at least you have monarchy to maintain check and balances. Once the monarchy became corrupted, a new cycle began. China's system, in the future will be hailed as an excellent replacement to the old unstable monarchic system. Close to 10% of the population get admitted into the political party based on merit, societal contributions, education and community work. These 10% then vote for party representatives who then vote for central government leaders. sure, it is not a perfect system but it worked much better than mobocracy that we see in many countries. Mobocracy in third world countries are the worse. Perpetual poverty while leaders are selected based on electoral financing by richer countries to benefit richer countries. China lifted 800 million out of poverty. All commanding height sectors like banking, infrastructure and of national security interests are run by non-profit government linked corporations. In the private sectors, potential oligarchs are kept in check. In a way like Singapore where elected representatives are paid millions and in their own right can be a CEO in most corporations.
any level headed indians able to advise me why did jayant say india corruption is growing out of control? i always thought modi is running the country well
Any man who can sell his country of origin for money, can sell anyone from his own family. Being critical and being a pimp are two different things. This man is very sick.

Some things which bhandari speaks like huge bribery; superstitious culture ; corruption are somewhat true ... I have witnessed all these . But I don't agree his claims avout india when it comes to economics and foreign policy ....
@@InvincibleMan99 The most important aspects of capitalism are property rights enforcement of contracts. Lack of these two in India is undoing all its efforts and India deserves the poor reputation it gets. Bhandari is a total cI0wn when he comes to being bullish on China.
this is an honest dude. exactly my experience on so many trips to india, which is a joke. the aspiration of india should be the next Philippines rather than the next China. little Philippines has a gdp per capita about twice of india
The main cause of curruption is bad judiciary. Solution to improve judiciary is to implement jury system in india. Usa has jury system and right to recall judge, police officers and politicians and becase of this reason curruption is low in usa. If same laws are implemented in india, it can reduce curruption and inefficiency to usa level
Princeton University Study: Corruption is Legal in America ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5tu32CCA_Ig.html This is the "hidden" reality that explains everything that's happening now in the USA.
Fact is that India is still one of the poorest countries in the world, as measured by GDP per capita. that's a fact. Nobody can do business there without paying millions in bribes.
@@avinashh34 How? Mediocrity is prevalent everywhere in the country. One simple example is pollution levels. Ten years ago both China and India made headlines in having cities which topped the poor AQI rankings list. Since then China has improved a lot but Indian cities continue to dominate that list.
Jayant opinion is no longer valid here It's not about that comparison with china It's not suddenly manufacturing started It's took almost a decade to create a system Shifting of apple manufacturing is big deal You like it or not Similarly chip manufacturing getting started Renewable energy is another big sector You always tell to not to invest in India It's your loss You are talking this BS for past decade
I really thought this guy is an expert on business and finance related stuff in India.. so I watched this video very seriously until he started to talk about plumber and electrician stuff.. I mean uncle when did the last time you visited India?? Not 1 or 2% but almost half or 2/3rd of foreign labour in the middle East are from India and you are saying they are of low quality!! Seriously!! I understand that our labour skills might not be as good as compared to developed countries and that's why they are working for a penny worth.. don't tell me you want to eat noodles from a five star hotel but want to pay the price of a street shop..!! Anyway Mr. Indo American uncle I wish you to visit India physically once more rather than virtually through social media to understand the ground reality..
This man is talking about levels of courruption in india, and forgets that they are filling water in missiles in China. Clearly to serve his Chinese masters
It is disgusting to see such an anti national guy who is talking shit and incorrect statements. India has improved greatly and is attracting a large amount of companies .We should not give him a visa to visit India
He has just been regurgitating the same things for the last 10 years. I do not what happened to him in India. I think he must have been the unluckiest guy in the universe. He is far removed from the truth. Must be on China's payroll.
The majority of the world lives under an almost absolute dictatorship -- the corporation -- and we're fine with it. I don't want my CEO to be friendly, democratic or liberal. I want him or her to be super-smart, motivated, disciplined, that consistently beats the competition. My livelihood depends on it.
Let the US and their allies experience it first hand and enjoy the benefits of it. Enjoy the roller coaster ride and thanks to their govt and politicians for promoting it.
India does have more people like Jayant. Just read some of the comments by other realistic Indians here. But these Indians are living Outside India and not Inside India.
No wonder BYD, the company that manufacture drones insist on money up front. India under Tambi Muti(a double headed snake) gets from bad to worst & now untrustworthy, boastful, uninhabitable, arrogant with no balls( as snakes have no balls which I dia has shown now)
but BYD EV,Yangwang can do support drone, has a special space on top of the car,so the drone can automatically rise from the top,it is so futuristic and amazing,I am not quite sure whether that particular drone was made by BYD
Talk about work force! Half a billion diligent wokers are much more productive than a billion of lay back and taking easy workers. China vs India (vs US and EU as well).
If Jayant is right then that many top IT companies like Microsoft,Google,Apple should have moved away from India. More than 50% US IT software Development is done from India.
Jayant doesn't live in India he is far from the truth Assembly is primary requirement to do further manufacturing Looks like he is not liking the progress being made digital economy is also in good pace (some say it's better than West 😅) Whether you like it or not
