The value of anything is determined by the buyer. In this case did we get what we paid for? I was excited for Kristina to feel the power of the original B17 so we took it to the track as soon as possible.
It's easy to find out if you have the right transmission. First gear at redline should be 37 mph, 2nd gear 62 mph, 3rd close to 90 mph. Easy to check the brakes. Drive it and feel each wheel to see if any are hot, or look at the brake disks to see if they are wearing prematurely.
Bro put it like this yo this car is perfect for you 9000 is a fair price if its brand new and what I see from the videos its brand new car literly so it would work out for you but other guys who don't mess with da integra or ef they don't understand how hard it is right now to find anything from.this car so I think take that motor out put it in your girls car and then find another gsr motor don't matter what year its from just slap it in there neat and clean then put that da to the side cover put it in the garage just save it its literly show car its super rare I understand lol good find 🇵🇷😎🚘🔰🏁
I would find a gear-set from a hydro GSR or B16 and put it in the case! The price is going up on all 90s Hondas, so you got that one for a reasonable price!
Values are very much subjective as you mentioned. How do you put a value on memories/nostalgia? I think it’s a solid buy especially since it’s a genuine GSR. Well done I would say. Cheers.
Dude its a beauty to me with what it has stock its about 9500 to 11500 dollars. These people are still stuck in the old days where they could buy it for 3400 to 6500 that was back in the day like early 2000s not this market when the car was at the bottom of the curve. These cars now are moving upwards on the Classic scale of collectors. Those people who are speaking about this are stuck in the last 20 years sorry folks these cars are getting to the point where they are not cheap and are increasing in value. Back in the day my CRX Si with the B16A and carbon hood I had people offering me 9500 to 10000 now dude forget about it. Its got the B16B Ys1 , LSD, 210+ HP NA Carbon hood, its around 15000 thousand dude. Forget about the older type R those are 20000 to 25000 these folks sound salty because they cant afford them anymore. Sorry.
Wonder what you’ll find with the trans or if the brakes were dragging all along causing it. I do have a 92 Gsr trans. I had No grinding up to 7k shifting cause I had on it a stock LS engine . I’d consider selling if you want a Gsr trans in it and I’d guarantee what I have is a Gsr trans. Always felt like I needed to shift in to “6th gear” on the high way with it lol. And the 1st-3rd pulls had such nice acceleration.
Right... I had the same car and color back in the mid 1990's and sold it in 2005. I believe 3rd gear would take me to 60-65 if I'm not mistaken. These ppl near my house had 1 since it was new and still have it now. In 2 wks I'll go over and ask if they wanna sell it
@@jayburrowes3324 ohh niiice. I ended up selling the gsr trans I had for 1,000 just a couple weeks ago. Only sold it cause I’m doing a turbo build so I’m running 94and up gsr gears now. I have an LS trans too but the 94-up gsr trans is a happy medium for me. I can’t wait to finish my DA tho.
I have a question not related to this video but I have a k24a4 auto I'm taking on the manual swap I have a 05 paired ecu and Immobilizer key switch and I have the 5 speed k24a4 trans if I get a manual harness will I have to rewire anything / delete or add? And if I run a tuner will it allow me to turn off the Immobilizer plz help thanks
