Hey Luke 👋 I’m sorry but I think you will be disappointed. Not because it’s a bad anime, in fact it’s top 10 isekai (genre) animes but because it’s nowhere near the genius of attack on titan. You said you wanted the animes you watch after attack on titan to be as good as aot but I feel you will be disappointed with this one especially since it’s a completely different genre, there were so many better animes out there 😢but I appreciate that you will give it a try ❤️‍🔥

im just gonna say this now that the dub is one billion times better than sub if your a native or even just fluent english speaker in a english speaking majority country. it has so many jokes with its wordplay and choice geared towards english speakers and while the sub actors did good, the dub actors for rimuru and veldora especailly did fuckin amazinin my opinion along with so any more of the characters. like at least do a watch throuh of ep 1 dub to see what you think is really all im sayin.

You probably won't see this, but here is a bit of an explanation on a few points from the beginning of this episode. First off, according to the web novel, it was somewhat around 6 months I believe before Great Sage was able to answer Rimuru 's question, as it original didn't have any speaking features, and only adopted it by analyzing the voice of the world in response to rimuru's strong desire to have a partner to converse with while he was alone in that total sensory deprivation (aside from touch). Another point, when Rimuru was first shown to heal, the anime cut it out, but self regeneration would have actually taken a lot longer for him to heal that ten percent. The only reason he healed so fast was because he connected Great Sage to Predator, and used predator to devour and analyze the harmed portion of him self, allowing great Sage to maximize the speed he could heal. In regards to Magic Sense, it's a skill that allows one to observer the way magicules (made up of spiritrons, building blocks reality in Tensura) interact with the world. The skill is called an extra skill, which extra skills are normally relatively uncommon among skill holders, but very few beings actually possess the skill, as the amount of information the holder would need to process in order to make sense of it is incredibly vast. Rimuru himself is only able to use it because a slime is made up entirely of identical cells that all operate as brain cells would, paired with the computational powers of great Sage. The skill itself as like a 20 meter range I believe, and essentially makes it impossible for anyone to sneak up on him. Finally, in regards to Veldora as a true dragon, the web novel explained it as true dragons essentially being the epitome of strength in Tensura, they are beings made up entirely of magicules with no actual physical body, and can directly interact with spiritrons. They usually take the shape of western dragons because that's what the majority of races on Central consider to be the strongest creatures.

This is a fun anime. To be honest, I kinda like a spin off from it called The Slime Diaries. That one mostly focuses on the characters in Tempest City. One of my favorite characters in that one is a little goblin girl who absolutely loves Geld. He treats her like a kindly Uncle or Grandfather treats a favorite niece or grandaughter.

About the attacker with the knife at the start, His Student was dating an Idol, that man was a psycho fan who was going after her Boyfriend, he got in the way and died of severe hemorrhaging before the paramedics could arrive. This is what I've heard was explained in the Novel Source material.

I recently checked out the manga, and I think it did Rimuru's initial blindness much better. Veldora is depicted as a nondescript guy with a ? for their face. They stand, shrug, and squat down to speak to this little slime that wobbled near them. Then Rimuru gets Magic Sense and the ? guy is revaled to be a massive, huge dragon.

ooooohhhhh my you are in for a treat good sir. one of the best anime ever made. I will say like the first 7 episodes are a bit on the slow side but after that its straight fire. I also Highly recommend reading the manga or LN at some point as both have a bit of a darker and more serious tone to them that really make the story pop that extra bit.

Okay, so I only just watched this first episode on this channel from the got games channel. One thing I'd like to ask is that in future videos when you add the copyright thing over top of the screen the anime is playing on, make sure it doesn't fully block the subtitles. The bottom subtitles are fine; however, when subtitles appear on the top of the screen, the big yellow copyright on top obscures a little of it, so if possible I was hoping future uploads you could check that a adjust it little bits. It still needs to block the screen for copyright reasons, but for anyone who sees on youtube later and doesn't speak japanese would need to be able to see what is being spoken in the subs.
