Thanks a bunch for this! I was trying to install Tiny 11 through other guides and methods that seemed to over-complicate the process. This was much more straight forward and to the point and it got the job done.
@@chelseaboy7375it’s pretty great. I made my own iso by pulling stuff from the windows ADK and just using the scripts from the tiny 11 github. I put it on an older laptop that I thought was actually done for, but with a new drive and tiny 11 it’s working again. The OS is really what it says it is. Lightweight and cuts down on all the other BS windows has in there. I’ve updated it and everything along with the drivers and there’s still no signs of windows bloatware anywhere on my system. I keep JunkCtrl for win11 around just in case (used to go by ThisIsWindows11 and then went on to BloatyNosy and then stripped down to JunkCtrl scan and remove). It’s good and fast so far and I’ve only used the system for browsing so far. I’m not going to be gaming on the system, mainly for media and streaming. The system works well enough for that and I don’t have to wrestle with Linux to get it working.
@@omarehab1211you can copy all of ur data on an external hdd or sdd or sd card or usb but u need to get the same space on the drives to put ur data OR you can compress them so they are like 100mb
One thing u need to know so u dont make same mistake as i did:when burning the iso file via rufus make sure to know if ur usb is gpt or mbr,cuz mine was gpt and the tutorial told me to put mbr,but in tiny11 setup it didnt install cuz of that,to see if ur usb is gpt or mbr :right click windows icon>disk managment>right click the usb disk>propreties>volumes and then u can see.
@@droidmotorola3884 also if u have a low-mid end pc i recommend ghost spectre its much faster ive tried both but if ur pc can handle win 11 just stick with tiny
Hey, Tiny 11 does not work on my computer, so I decided to uninstall it but now, my computer can't seem to recognize my SD card in my files anymore. Can you tell me how to fix it?
It downloaded everything that exists on the normal win 11 and it works slower than ever I can't surf the internet without errors everywhere and nothing works Edit: Ok my bad, no one told me I have to restart😂 So far so good
@Adnan Salhi I got the version from the vid I just copied what he did IDK what does the server have to do with the OS but I don't face any delay or slow connection except in microsoft store which for me is useless
@@harutothefriendlyodst7639 yes as any windows installation you format the disk you have the app data on so you have to do it all over and the drivers as well
This is a great tutorial but you should have done GPT bc only most gamers use this tiny 11 and UEFI Bios is the best especially for gamers❤ but Great tutorial love it this my second time doing it bc i need UEFI
installed and running on HP dv6700 running great! specs are duocore t7100 4gb ram 500gb ssd upgrade. stock windows 10 was terrible couldnt even watch youtube at 360 so was running chrome os flex which works great but very limited to what u can do. tiny 11 is perfect running youtube at 720 no issues and u can download anything! Great video!!
can you do a comparison video on the features of tiny 11 and vanilla win 11 or are they the same just without the additional bloat ware like all drivers and stuff are there
After i did everything my original storage says it has almost no storage and now i can only hold 81 gb when it used to be more and then when i put in the usb device the lost space says its there
when ever i boot from usb it doesnt load the installer it shows me a error code for windows being damage or whatever i know its not damage because when i boot to windows normally i get noi error code or anything i load straight into windows i also tryed my windows 10 usb drive that works fine what is the problem?
1) Try to install Tiny11 again on the flash drive. 2) Use another flash drive. 3) Insert the flash drive into another USB port. 4) Better install Linux.
After one week daily use, Tiny11 is solid, not a single crash, blazingly fast, much faster than bloated official Win 11 Pro which came preinstalled in my MiniPC. Delete official Win 11 Pro already to save SSD space over 20GB.

What exactly is your problem? The hard disk itself does not have MBR or GPT as "specs", this must be understood. In Rufus, you can manually choose MBR or GPT (and it depends more on whether your laptop supports Legacy or UEFI) Legacy=MBR and UEFI=GPT

Hi i have tiny11 installed on my laptop and i want to upgrade to an ssd and i want tiny11 on my new ssd so if i copy from my old hard drive on to my ssd will tiny11 be installed on the new ssd or i have to re-install it and if do i do it like the way you've shown from the bios? If you were to do the first boot from a USB on one computer, and then used the USB to boot an OS on a second computer, would it be safe to assume it would have difficulty accessing all the hardware correctly?
I misunderstood your question. When you install Tiny11 on a flash drive, information is deleted from the flash drive. When installing Tiny11 from a flash drive, you select a partition and all information from it will also be deleted.
I think you can do it, but not sure about the key. Because it depends on what type of key you have. For example, there are one-time activation keys, and there are those that can be activated on several devices.
@@AndriyTech I've fully clear my pc before and install windows 10 over that and I didn't have a windows key and it still said I was activated.. That's why i asked because I was wondering if the key was stored in the pc bios or something like that
