😕 I'm desperately trying to learn what Placemaking is. it is hard to find definitive or direct explanation of it. Most sources just say "we need to invest into people and be attentive to local community". But how it is done? What are the core concepts that will help think of design differently?

it is actually subjective based on the place itself. It can be extract through history, culture, program even community itself. but personally i would go for sense of place and local community which is respect to the existing.
