What is UnBlack Metal? 

As a Christian I really like Unblack metal. It has the same style of sound as other black metal but with more wholesome lyrics for Christians who like metal. So if I feel weird for listening to satanic bands or secular bands at least I know there's always an alternative

Is there life death metal? Is there saved doom metal? Is the catatonic thrash metal? How about sanitation sludge metal...

Oddly, I was a fan of Christian-themed black metal bands before the Satanic/Occult ones. The best band in Christian black metal is probably Antestor. Other good ones include Horde (the one you mentioned), Frost Like Ashes, Drottnar, Crimson Moonlight, Divine Symphony and Slechtvalk. Also, for anyone reading this comment that is against Christian black metal, remember that Hellhammer of Mayhem played on Antestor's "The Forsaken."

White metal. Unblack metal. I don't understand why people coin a new genre of MUSIC just because the LYRICS aren't traditional. If that's the case, then blues music with positive lyrics should be called "Unblues" or "Oranges", and blues fans should be butthurt that anything progressive isn't trve or kvlt. Black metal is a SOUND. That sound is intense drumming, harsh and atmospheric tremolo-laden guitars, (optional) dark synth and razor blade gargling vocals. As far as a lot of people are concerned, if you have the black metal SOUND, you're fucking black metal. Elitists need to stop acting like its their sandbox and there's only room for the evil kids. No one owns any genre of music. Regarding lyric themes, I'd also like to point out that there's a difference between Christian lyrics and anti-anti-Christian lyrics. The difference is, one focuses on Christian spiritual concepts, the other is based on satan-bashing and attacking those who attack Christianity. (the latter being rather tacky in my opinion - example: Horde)

I recommend Reverorum Ib Malacht. They were once an anticosmic black metal band and then converted to Catholicism. The way you describe how you'd like Christian black metal is how this band sounds.

Album recommendation: Slechtvalk - At the dawn of war. Unblack metal is just so funny I love it. It's a shame that for the most part it's just a mock genre. It really would be awesome if they put an effort into sounding unique.

Here in Brazil has a strong scene of unblack metal, in my street there is a traditional neo pentecostal church where once a week they play black / death / thrash and punk.

Antestor with their Jesus Saves, Mortification with Symbiosis, Horde with Invert the inverted cross, Paramecium with Injudicial, Deuteronomium with Crosshope. These are all grate unblack bands.

UnBlack metal, I hate calling it this way... It's black metal, but with christian lyrics and... I can understand calling it just on stage or... in albums but not like everywhere... Another problem is if there's a jewish or muslim black metal band [it is possible], are they unblack or black...? Or fucking yellow/blue/idfk? I could also say, that I hate calling any genre/subgenre of any music "christian" just because it has christian lyrics, and I am saying that as a christian. It's just useless, imo.
