I have had uveitis for about 8 months. I have inflammation in the back of my eyes with no cause. So if you feel pains, don’t wait. I could have had permanent damage if I waited a long time for treatment.
Please try the ketogenic diet. It helped me keep my uveitis symptoms in remission and I am more than 3 years now medication-free. Water fasting also works miracles. I tried a lot of eating patterns, but the ketogenic diet is the best anti inflammatory diet I have tried. There is also the carnivore diet, but I think that’s very restrictive for most people. I am sure there is a link between uveitis and insulin resistance & gut health. Maybe it is all caused by the leaky gut syndrome. In any case, inform yourself about nutrition, it may save your health. hi I have had eye problems for over 3 years I've been to diffrent optomologists they gave me protopic which doesn't work my eyes are always red itchy painful sensitive to light I've suffering for over 3 years nothing seems to work the only thing that works is steroid eye drops but the moment I stop using it the problems comes right back again and there's also a string white discharge that keeps coming out. please help I feel I can't take this pain anymore
