They all call him papa nurgle for a reason. They literally see him as a father figure with how kind he is to his followers. My favorite example was one of his "generals" came to be by him being a tiny little dude on nurgles shoulder, he was watching nurgle make his greatest disease yet when he got too close and fell in, not wanting to drown the tiny follower drank everything in the cauldron where the disease was to be made. The tiny follower looked up at nurgle and was crying and apologizing for ruining his best work, but papa nurgle picked up the little one up and said " you are my greatest work" and now the tiny guy became a fierce general that goes to the physical world to get nurgle more ingredients for his diseases.

I can't trust myself either if I said something like that, especially if it's another Alpharius.

@@mikoajciemiega8018 He didn't say it wasn't canon, he just said it was very old lore and that may not be canon but also has not been refuted yet. Lutein is basically saying to hold reasonable doubt, that fans shouldn't consider it as the definite origin until we hear about it again. That Warhammer is fulled of myths and speculation. And nothing so far in has completely refuted the shaman origin.

boomer doesn't really refer to the boomer gen in any way beyond it being an older generation. it's used now as a catch all term for anyone over 30 as a way of saying "you're old".

The Imperium is absolutely a fascist state. It's an extremely authoritarian and oppressive state that's highly militaristic and hierarchical that brutally suppresses any internal opposition. They just also happen to be an oligarchic theocracy.

@@HappyMan0203 All those details you list don't make it a facist state. Many other forms of governance exist that have those traits that are not facist. Theocratic oligarchy being one. It is not fiesable or possible for the Imperium to be facist, because of how vast it is. It is simply impossible to exert the necessary control for it to be such a state over so many planets that are so spread around. Doubly so now Failbadon's tantrum split the galaxy. The only viable way to govern this much space is to let planets individually govern themselves, a detail that by default makes the Imperium not a facist state, with the only demands placed on them being "Worship the Emperor and pay your taxes, be they financial, supplies or manpower.". I give you this, there is without a doubt planets subservient to the Imperium that are actually facist. I am not saying it doesn't exist at all. But there is basically any and all manner of government system on the myriad of worlds in the galaxy. However, the Imperium does not care how they govern themselves, as long as they worship the Emperor and pay their taxes. I extend to you the benefit of the doubt that you aren't just using facist as a catch all term for "super mega bad" friend, so I hope this dialogue can conclude amicably and with reason. If your only issue with the Imperium and what it gets up to is it being mislabeled as "fascist", there's a can of worms I don't wanna open. "Yeah I was down with the zealous xenophobia corpse-worshippers, but then I heard they were fascists and I just can't vibe with them now."

The imperium is definitely fascist with how big and disorganized it is there’s probably some sectors that are fascist I mean what do you expect the imperium are stupid genocidal nazi cultists that have the mindset of people from the medieval period . Not every bad thing is facist. Just slapping that label on every bad thing is intellectually disingeneus and waters language down, which annoys me. That is all.
