One lone female van lifer said she sometimes gets 2 hot drinks so that any unwanted 'observers' assume there are 2 people in the van. Another said that she covers the windows and gets her van ready for sleeping before she drives to her night time spot. ❤
The advise makes more sense for men than for women A lone man is more likely to be attacked than a lone female Men are the greater victims of violent crimes than women Who is safer. A lone female walking alone at 2am or a lone male walking alone at 2am Most people think the woman is at more risk. That's not true. It's the man at more risk This is because society is generally protective of women. The reason that a man is at more risk is because most criminals are men So when a criminal sees a woman walking he won't attack her because she is woman When a man sees a man walking he will attack him
I personally think you’d be wise to put your blinds on the outside of your girly products. Maybe it’s just me, and maybe Europe is much safer for a single woman to stay in a van alone, but there’s no reason to advertise you’re by yourself. Be smart, stay safe.
That's how it's pronounced!! Like the nursery rhyme Old McDonald had a farm. People just don't realize and say it wrong. That's why the first burger on their combo menu is the Big Mac.
Ame in her van would boost McDonalds' status. Fans could buy an autographed photo with her while waiting to receive their Ame-in-a-van special meal (burnt pancakes?).
@@burnthecandleatbothendz there expensive unless you do it yourself but no where near the same price bracket as a house or apartment or even a deposit.
@@michaelkrauer1286 Hopefully not but every nation has nut jobs, weirdos, opportunists+much worse some more then others of course but yeah I'm happy she's in Switzerland(safe journeys always to the wee girl) ❤️
Try this in Birmingham and be prepared to receive an expensive fine for just parking there for over the 1hr limit 💯 An area truly does make a difference to how you live and the complexities you will face.
I built a show van a short wheel base Chevy C-10 House insulation Quarter inch plywood, shag carpet overhead console,Mags 50's in the rear, and 60's in the front...bed in the back...I wish I still had it..I never drove it in the winter < No Salt.Anyway, you are basically living in yours and to that is the coolest thing I've seen on here 👍
It’s all about being safe on these winter roads. I like having McDonald’s once in a while. I like the french fries and their chocolate milk shakes. Love your short videos. 💗
McDonald’s is a staple for van lifers. Cheap coffee and food to keep you going (thanks to rewards app I often get breakfast under $3.) Bathrooms, wifi, free ice/water, sometimes charge ports but some are cracking down on that.
All younger people look of royalty these days, don’t you all call each other kings and Queens(which is nauseating) and every time I see a crime video in a major American city they aren’t wearing torn clothes and dirty jeans, they’re wearing Jordan’s or Yeezys and Hilfiger and Guess jeans
@@quorented2849 well fuck that. You see the shit in france... that ain't gunna fly here. Police... national guard,, the army... out numbered by law abiding citizens. Ps.. gun tootters
Glad they didn't get nasty with you. The McDonald's around here has a really nice green space behind the McDonald's for dog walks, but the snow would take care of that.
I have done that recently, too. My experience is that it is not that bad at all. I would never do it more often, but hey. Let us see the positive aspects. You got toilets near by, open 24 hours. And the breakfast is safe too. ;-)
I just saw one of your parents videos and I must say I was very disappointed that you thought giving your dad the middle finger was funny. Regardless of your culture or religion parents are to be respected.
I thought it was funny as fuck. Dad and me used to do the same. It isn't disrespectful if both people share the same humour and or love each other. Or like me DILLIGAFs doing it to a stranger🖕🏻😜😂
That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t respect her parents. It’s called good healthy banter, and they clearly have a great family relationship. All families are different, a open mind is good to have. I think it’s very clear that she has a lot of respect for them.
It's fine to have opinions, but to invoke your idea of what "proper" etiquette should be between an incredibly loving parent and adoring child is what truly lacks decorum.
All of these van livers have a huge house to go to..and sometimes they film stuff edit it and go home and pick van up later..not actually sleeping in it
You should really get to Germany asap for the Christmas markets! There’s a really cool one in the caves in Valkenburg Netherlands too! I am going to that one too, so if you’re going let me know! They have excellent wine and doing a toast and tour would be fun!
That wouldn’t have been too sad. The burgers are amazing in McDonald’s, as are their coffee and their sausage and egg McMuffin. Yum yum 😋 Plus you get free WiFi.
Everyone talking about safety: I'm from switzerland and as a young women have definitly walked around in the middle of the night alone, without feeling unsecure at all. (in Zürich I wouldn't recommend it though)
I subscribed because I wanted to follow your journey living in a car park. This is definitely a different lifestyle and probably a day to day experience. I hope that you and your dog stay safe. Good luck
You know what might be convenient is gluing little magnets around the inside of your windows and then get some dark shades or fabric and put magnets or little metal pieces on the fabric or shades and WHA-LAAH! Privacy 😉
