What It’s Like to be a Sanitation Worker During the Pandemic 

With most people stuck at home, garbage on residential sanitation routes is piling up, which means trash collectors are more important than ever. Since the beginning of the pandemic, trash at homes is up 40%, largely driven by all the packages being delivered to homebound Americans ordering homegoods, food, and more online. Inside Edition met up with sanitation worker Hugo Gomez of Republic Services in Rosemead, California to see a day in the life of this essential worker. #InsideEdition
