People do not understand about this being fully engineered, numbers matching at VicRoads... SMH talking about hoodlining sagging. Monumental effort, you will not see any other like this holy hell. What do you mean by numbers matching.. numbers matching is said when a cars whole driveline motor and gearbox are numbers matching to the car when built. The driveline isn't numbers matching.Some of you no clue on cars. If mean it is fully engineered yes. but we do not use numbers matching to engineering to mod a car.

Love it, there was a red VP commodore in Newcastle in the early 2000s with an RB25 in it, plates were GTSTVP…was a clean as car. I’m surprised this combo isn’t more common

I freaking love this. I've had a couple of VZ Calais as they're my favourite Holden, yet the alloytec has let me down every single time. I have been toying with the idea of Barra in a VZ Calais.

@glomoji_3818 just fine till it needed timing chains,when the thermostat housing was leaking,water pump leaking. Those are some of the fun time. Also the 5 spd auto behind them isn't what you'd call great. So yeah, after 2 Calais V6 I went to V8 and have had far less issues. I also have a Barra in the garage and for cheap power it blows my LSA into last week. VZ with a Barra + T6060 would be ace.

Loved this car the first time I heard it I wasn’t expecting it, I use to love driving a 2 door ute. Clay taking about engines finding their way into other cars and K swaps you should look at Gmans new MR2. K motors are finding there way into everything these days

Well it's different that's for sure , and with the history of these RB motors , should be very competitive package, now it needs the headliner redone and outside left looking stock SV6 , maybe new fresh paint including engine bay , I,m a V8 fan in a UTE but like people who try out things that are not really commonly done

It's better than the GM 6 with out doubt. Would like to see against a V8. My guess is quicker. Have seen a Mustang with Falcon 6 and it did have faster acceleration but bit of a drop in top speed.

The RB was ment to be in the first VN Commodore.but Holden in the last mint changed camps and went v6.holden should of stayed with the JDM engine

In the 2 years, and all the time spent in a zillion pieces - I just stood and looked at it. Lol. Cody built it, believe me I know we’ve chatted heaps - but I’ve spent a fuck tonne of time and effort n tears to get it to where it is now.
