It would be really fun to see Brad on an episode or stream of Drawfee! I found this channel doing research on drawing tech after getting inspired by Drawfee and other online artists. I feel like there is a solid overlap of audiences and Brad would have a blast with the folks over there.

I grew up in Montana on a steady diet of Bill Watterson. I know exactly what you're talking about! I almost got that Asus when I was hunting for new laptop. Then the Acer ConceptD Ezel 7 went on sale and I picked up the very last (affordable) one in the country from Adorama in NYC. First time owning a "no compromise" system. Of course your review helped sell me on it!

My Asus ProArt is on the way! What a great laptop, I didnt hear you mention it, maybe I missed it, but the trackpad is also a WPP2 digitizer, so you can use Asus stylus straight on it like a wacom tablet. Not as good as Samsungs with WEP S-Pen screen support, but still a nifty trick, not the best for drawing but great for 3d/sculpting.

Hello, your device and mine are quite similar. I'd like to ask, between the SLS2 and the Asus ProArt 16's stylus, which one is better? I also have the Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2, and it works really well. I'm curious about the performance of the Asus stylus - does it have any jitter when drawing diagonal lines slowly? Thank you.

That's really cool that you live next to a castle. I plan on learning the basics of blender eventually, it's awesome to see stuff like this! I was curious if you've done any pixel art your cartoony style seems like it would match up well.

Hey Brad, what is your criticism of this laptop? I've been looking into it and it's been between this and the Surface Studio. What are your thoughts? This has more power and will last me longer, I think. And the Surface is just great for drawing but with less power.

Great fun, man! Do you plan on checking out and playing with the Grease Pencil in Blender? My mind is already racing with all the possibilities that you specifically could explore. IMHO, it's THE tool that sets Blender apart from other 3D packages...especially if you're a 2D artist.

In regards to the Asus ProArt Studiobook 16 what the fan noise like when you rendered things in Blender or edited video? I've got an older ASUS laptop, it's been a good machine but it is getting time to upgrade (and the fan is pretty noisy). Totally welcome other's opinions/comments as well.

Cool… I will say this. I finally bit the bullet a while back and bought Udemy courses for Blender, Krita and Anime Studio (MOHO). Can you learn by scouring the internet? Yes… But if you just want a no nonsense, get right into way of learning these programs, I highly suggest going that route. Big time saver. It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to set down and play with these programs but I remember going through the Blender course was very useful. And they didn’t cost much at all.

So, when will you roll out your Blender Course? (There can never be too many Blender courses! Especially if they're ones not made for brain surgeons!) I have been picking my way thru your Affinity Designer course on Udemy, and you _almost_ make even _that_ awful program seem, um, less awful! Your castle looks great, Brad!

I'm seeing lots of negative reviews for the ProArt 16 claiming that the OLED touchscreens are distractingly grainy and have a "mesh screen" effect. They say it's most noticeable in the whites and up close. What's your take on that? Is it a problem at all? Ty!

I'm a big fan of Calvin and Hobbes, great strip, very emotive. I'm not a blender fan, never used it. I may have to as i'm having to teach Solidworks, i think thst they may be similar. Now the question, you love(d) the Microsoft Surface line, especially the pen, now you love this machine. Do you use each machine for the same tasks? Or each machine is used for different tasks (1 for belnder, 1 for drawing). If you were to recommend one machine only, for every task you do, which one would you choose? You can only choose a device you have reviewed from the start of your channel.

nice laptop issueonly issue is 3060 is ok for light gamign and doesn thave the same power as a proper 3060 gpu so the performance isn't as good but nice laptop non the less
