A job comes up, then another and you think 'That looks familiar, the postcodes are the same'. Then is happens again, different shippers but the same postcodes. This is why and also what you should do about it.

Typically companies trying to cover DHL work. Just think for a moment we're they are delivering into.

I do exactly the same. I bid the same price for each job. I'm also amazed that some drivers will turn up for a collection without any blankets or straps

chances are each shipper will have different payment terms so if i see 45 day EOM vs pays in 30 days then the latter is getting my cheapest bid. Ive won the 45 days EOM in these situations though as you just dont know what margins the shippper is working off.

Got a question for the wise guys. I done a job today for a shipper but when I delivered the items i was told that the company had just gone bankrupt and was closing down. What are the chances of being paid by the shipper as I very much doubt they will get paid themselves.

I remember on that site,, every know and then a new company would pop up, posting loads of work, a quick check would show they were only registered in companies House several months weeks ago, then there address was a Po box etc you get my drift, within mins you smell a Rat, then you'd see the original posters had posted all the jobs they had posted before them, they would snap them up at a rate so good to get that job, then re post them jobs and accept any rate as they had no intentions of paying anybody.... they would be on normally 45eom, plus a few weeks taking the pee until they hoped get rumbled, drivers would go in high to supplement the risk of them being new and the 45eom... these types were reported to the said site and they cared less,, like seriously they acted as if they weren't bothered, maybe as id spotted these frauds in minutes and they never did as they cared less....if this happened once it happened a dozen times... so happy i left that siteandd this trade.

And as expected they would Vanish and then the influx of drivers would be on the forum asking where they are 😆..... sorry had to laugh but it aint funny... my m8 was 1 once id saw the job posted, he even called the original poster and explained he'd done the job for the said scammer etc... and guess what they never paid him nor the scammer... nice firm ah. Scum bag industry. 💯
