I just got dreams and the amount of tools is quite intimidating. Guess i really do have to watch a million tutorials. Really amazing though. Seems you can literally do anything in Dreams. I hope it stays alive for years and years, and especially hope it gains more popularity.
I have had Dreams for nearly 4 years,I make a lot stuff,mainly assets for others to use. I have barely touched the logic tools in all of that time. I just feel i know what I am good at. I would love to make a game though. I did make a few games that were fairly popular on little big planet. The logic was easier for me to get my head around. If you haven't already found her @Ladylexuk has tutorial videos on YT for just about everything. I spend half of my time in Dreams playing other people's creations,and there really are some amazing original games aswell as some recreations of older games that are indistinguishable from the original. @MonocledRobot is worth checking out for some of them.They never get Mm picked as they are obviously copyrighted @Pulsate makes some great games also,that for some reason doesn't get the attention that he deserves. @Entropytamed makes some of the funnest games I have played. I could go on all day. Obviously you have found Saku what a talented group of like minded people they are. I never play any other game these days. I just wish more people realised what a great tool it is.
This was a great video! I'd definitely love to see a bit more info on how Keduko set up the logic for the plane, but I'm guessing tutorials like that already exist. The game looks awesome. Hopefully you produce more of them!
Well logic is always quite a bit different as well for what you are building but as mentioned, you can actually watch him do this stuff on his Twitch :) And thank you very much, glad that you liked the video!
Finally I found 12 free minutes to enjoy this video. I had already watched the previous video so I'll comment for both. I loved how you shaped the Plane and the Flying tests. In the actual game controls are Indeed not Easy, but very rewarding and realistic! Game mechanics reminded me of flying minigames in Spyro the Dragon! And about Logic...all that stuff in the microchip Is actually scary 🤣🤣🤣 This is the reason why I never approached making a game in Dreams so far, but only animations and exposition. I know that you can get used to It with practice,but... it's not Just my thing . I'll be sure to follow Keduko as well anyway! You made a beautiful game, Sakku, you make the Dreamiverse Amazing with your creations! Support! Very beautiful level design

Great video, am really inspired by this and dreams in general hope to get it soon, I really want to make a game based on the Netflix show locke and key...soo much potential! Keep up the great content
tl;dr - it's pure suffering and helplessness and you leave soon after clicking random buttons on the interface and dragging random tools around with zero effect.

Ive always wanted to develop games but I’m not super great at it and I don’t have a lot of free time. I literally come up with 100 ideas a minute but I don’t do anything with them kind of a waste. I have free ideas for a game creators. Lemme know.
You have a lot of logic I can I think I do less logic than most people when it still works pretty good course I don't if I understand dreams better don't tell them what I'd get done but I'm doing pretty good I'm just now recently figured out how to do the first person box basically it's a box that can move you know like the first person character usually you see two boxes and no I don't understand those one things I want whatever they're called but I don't use them I can make a first person I'm even up to changing weapons and I don't read I just watch these tutorials that they're pretty cool
Dream's is such an underrated tool, I think it would blow up if they added online multiplayer and a PC port to allow for more accessibility when using the controls as I believe the motion controllers or basic controller can be a turn off due to the time required to use them efficiently.
It really is a super underrated tool and I'm sure we will come to that eventually, fingers crossed that it will really help Dreams to finally blow up! :)
Could you tell me how are your building so much without your thermometer going to full i build one small room and my thermometer freaked out and that's including downsizing the graphics of the objects ????
Horror really isn't my kind of genre but I would say, go with a really good first person camera and play a lot with lighting which is very fun in Dreams :)
