When you had the free month of FSD did you try it? You don’t really need the pedals for a lot of a drive. It has really improved a lot, in the last month or so. I’m at 19,000 miles in 8 months I like it a lot.
Regen turns the motor into a generator which sends juice to the batteries, which creates a load. The load on the generator is what slows your Model 3. Pressure on the "gas pedal" reverses the electron flow to make the motor a motor. Pretty slick system. Do you find yourself fixating on the screen display? Pilots call that "panel fixation" where one do not look outside enough.
After 5 months my wow factor is still going strong !!! I have the refreshed M3 LR. The car is a beast !! So far no car can come close to beating me not even bikes !! This car is amazing. I love the tech and minimalism. Stalkless design is awesome. Puts a smile every time I get inside to drive it. Phoenix AZ
