Sure you can have another Moxie,actually get two.

i live with a woman who just adopted a rescue. i don’t want hair everywhere how do u keep the house clean from hairs everywhere or don’t you? i’m not happy about it at all!

We have had corgis for about 20 years now. We currently have a 12 year old Pembroke female named Zoey and a 10 year old fluffy Cardigan male named Zak. He is the first male, Cardigan, and fluffy we have had and he has been a real joy. We were not looking for any of that when we just had to take him home. We are also in Iowa.

@@robbielynmccrary872 sorry I missed your question from a year ago and you have probably had it answered. There are 3 things that you have ( or she has) to do to keep hair down. 1) You must brush, shred and/or comb your Corgi every day. Now, my Moxie has the thickest coat and undercoat of any Corgi I have ever seen! So the intensity of grooming depends on that: sleek vs. Thick. 2) Vacuum daily or use a Rumba sp.? Or the like. And 3) Have plenty of the sticky rollers plus for Pet Hair and clothes. Maybe by now she has captured your heart and the hair part seems less important! Corgis are so darned cute and have a bunch of personality and are one of the smartest dogs around. Example: no lie, but having gone from big Rotties in my younger years, when I had a leash on Moxie and being a low rider with her real dwarf legs, she would always get the leash undef her or around a leg. I got tired of constantly bending over and untangling the leash. So I thought what the heck, maybe I could teach her to do it herself, not really expecting much success. So when I bent over to fix her and the leash, as I did that, I would say "Moxie, fix your foot". I swear I only did that literally a couple of times, and when I tried saying it without helping her, she picked up her own foot and either walked forward or backward and "fixed her foot"! I was shocked, and now we show her off with under her belly and around a hind or front leg. She loves the wows and pets she gets in attention! I hope that if you became a housemate with a Corgi you have fallen in love by now. 😁💖🤗🐕

@@bdcorgimom Oh wow! Where in Iowa are you? I am in Davenport, Scott County, Iowa. I am dying at the thought of being dog-less for the first time in my life,but being 74 now and beginning to crumble, I just don't know. I worry if something happens to me, who will take my dog. Both sons and their wives have cats, no grandbabies for me, and have watched Moxie herd( actually play the chase game with my now only indoor house kitty. They don't like that and she's a talker/ barker Corgi. Some are quiet types as you probably know. My 3rd child,my daughter, is a Veterinarian, but out of Vet school got the best offer from a clinic in Gainesville, TX, met and married a born and raised Texan, after 11 years, she and another of the young vets opened their own practice in small animal. She actually went down there to spend a few years with the Equine partner who did everything Reproduction in horses,since she grew up on my horse breeding and training farm and was my foaling assistant from age 10 until she went away to college etc. But the horse vet husband of this practice shoved all the new vets into the small animal clinic with his wife. She, like most vets, has her own menagerie of pets, and I have been supporting her horse for 14 yrs. so I am pretty sure that she would take her or another if need be. But I do worry about that possibility. Anyway, so sorry to have written so much. If possible, would you tell me where you got yours from? Are they genetic tested for the now 6 or 7 genetic problems? I was lucky with Moxie, no spinal degeneration or anything else. She did injure her back and was neurologic. But there is a wonderful Veterinarian turned alternative medicine and methods using Chiropractic, cold laser, acupuncture, hydrotherapy etc. who literally not only saved her life, but returned her to her former crazy athletic self. Anyway again, you can see that I am a Corgi nut and am happy to chat with you at anytime. 😁❤🐕
