I really needed to see this video. I already had 6 peaceful cats and then I found 6 kittens a stray brought in my shed. I had to cover my stove. I don't use it anymore now too. I spoil them all and it costs, but as long as they're safe and loved it makes me happy. Thank you for sharing and so happy to read all the comments. I used the Peta bus that comes through town to have them fixed and shots.

We have 6 cats and we have much more cat furniture than human furniture. Every room in our house is a cat room. Love your videos and love for cats. So cool you make your place so fun for them. It is healthy for them and entertainment for you!

Lol, love this video! Glad I found your channel. I love everything cats!! 😊 I actually own eight cats, and whenever someone asks oh, “how many cats do you own?” They are always surprised with my answer. And they always think my life is soo, stressful having that many animals. When in reality.. it’s pretty easy. I give them food, water, attention, play time, and lots of pets. While in exchange, I get company, and comfort. I am so grateful to have all of them. My life would be incomplete without cats. I sometimes like to think they are my spirit animal. ☺️

I have 8 cats and I love it, all of them rescued and tamed as feral cats. 5 of them are siblings and are a bit naughty as they were very young when they got tamed, the other three were around 7 months 2 years and they seem forever grateful, also the oldest is in charge and respected (and feared) by all of them!

I adopted 2 stray cats found by my uncle & cousin, and later take care of a neighbor’s cat, a female who is pregnant. She gave birth to 4 babies a few days ago & and it’s exhausting trying to balance my school and making sure the mommy eats & feed her babies while taking care of the other two😂😂 Good thing is she actually loves her babies and never left them for more than an hour

I love it !! I have 7 and your doing a great job managing well its nice to see the great level of care you give them and i feel as long as a person has the time finances and love and can provide can provide cats the love and care they need then really nobody can complain! Im curiouse how much food yours eat per day and what do you feed yours thanks!

Hahaa I'm just happy I can provide for them. It's funny as you're the first one to say that as some people will say... oh your house must stink... but in reality it's far from that~ ( actually sometimes I wonder if the same folks would walk up to moms w many kids and say the same to them... lol) I feed them all grain free and I cook tripe, hearts and meat on a regular basis, and for those who eat raw I give some fresh raw meat confined w freeze fried raw~

thats awesome lol yes its so true annd I have had people say they cant smell a "cat" type smell or a litterbox odor but then again when you have this many cats there is definitely a whole litterbox routine that we folllow and are strict about maintaining for the cats health and ours everyone wants to live in a clean odor free environment .Its my boy friends job and hes amazing for taking on the responsibility. The worst thing thats happenedwhich is not even that bad considering is someone threw up theyre food and I didnt see it yet and I accidently stepped in it ! lol could have been alot worse The other assumption I get asked all the time is ,You must have cat hair on EVERYTHING !?" and in reality 5 out of my 7 cats DO have medium to long hair and 3 of them have WHITE LONG hair and oddly I never see cat hair on my clothing or around the house!! the only thing we have noticed is we have to make sure we keep up on changing our furnace filters regularly but we live in Canada Lol Its noticable in our central vacume tank and thats about it surprisingly! it but of course we do a quick once over every day with the vacume but we have to because and this is the unbelievable part My daughter IS ALLERGIC TO CATS !!!! and SHE IS NOT BOTHERED BY THEM !! ITS UNBELIEVABLE AND she hasnt had to take any of her medication yet for her cat allergy ,one cat even creeps into her bed to sleep with her lol and she is the happiest 10 years old alive! but its all an easy job and they dont even cost as much as a person would think,the only thing that was costly was having them all spayed and neutered that was about $1000.00 Canadian dollars !! and one of our males had surgury for his FLUTD to remove the crystals poos little guy ut no flare ups since and that was $2200.00! Vets are SO expensive but now we have pet insurance. For all the love and joy we receive from having multiple cats ! we wouldnt change a thing ! totally worth it ! I wish I could have more but but I would have to buy a bigger house ! Lol its crazy enough I upsized to a king size bed just so they can sleep in the bed comfortably with us which usually there are atleast 2 or 3! How many sleep with you!?

Hi! Im so glad I came along with your video! Im astonished how you leave them with all those cords from your appliances. Aren't you afraid they munch the cords? Still Im in admiration since your house is clean though full of stuffs. I have more than 20 cats and though I clean every day, it is a real struggle to keep it clean. 10 of my cats goes out and come back everyday

I have to clean like 3 times a day, I live with 23 indoor cats, only one of them goes otside every afternoon and sometimes he comes back after two or three days (I suspect he has another house he goes to) They have conquered my room recently and I slept last night in the kitchen.

I have 4 cats and no smell. My cats use Tidy Cats Unscented Clumping Liter. There is no odor. Our cat litter cats are in the bathroom. People have no clue we have cats. They run and hide in our basement. I am allergic to any scents so no scented products. My home is scent free.

Im asking you this in the politely way. Does your home smell? I've got a friend who's nose blind to her home. It smells like pee and cat. And so does she. She can't tell. How do you keep your house from stinking?

Oh thanks for asking. Well its a two part questions so here it goes: 1. Healthy cats don't have much smell (not to the human nose anyway), but the other half is right... meaning; 2. When people's house stink with cats it's the cat urine they are smelling for the most part, as urine is really high in ammonia so that smell goes a long way. Knowing that, when litter boxes are not cleaned often enough, or when they dont get washed periodically, and worse, when the litter doesnt rid the smell then you have a problem. Does it mean the litter should smell like perfume to mask the smell? NO! But it should be neutral and clumps the pee so the next time you scoop you can get rid of the pee ball. I have a video on the litter and how they behave and my take on it for more elaboration. Our house doesn't smell like anything, before and after having cats. It takes a conscious effort, but that's like what any hygiene. Hope that helps, thanks for your question! Hi, my son has nine cats but he lives in an apartment. How should he keep their litter boxes and the space for these cats to make sure that they are healthy meaning the cat and also that the humans in the house are healthy as well. Because my fear is all of those litter boxes cannot be good for the air quality for hygiene and all of that what do you think the best way to take care of these cats would be?

Air filters, ventilation, low dust or dust free litter (tofu litter- the good ones), scooping 2 times a day and having more than enough litter boxes. It's not so much the number of cats, it's the ritual of keeping things clean around the house as a habit overall~ Meow

Vertical space is also important, coz cats do much better w lots vertical space as opposed to floor as their actual floor space isn't that much after all the furnitures are there ~

I have 9. The hardest part is keeping everything vacuumed and dusted. Meaning cat hair. I have 2 robot vacuums that i run 2 to 3 times a day and it helps. I can vacuum every 3 days in the winter.But in spring and summer every other day. Its hard to keep the cat hair off everything

Random question - I've begun feeding a group of stray cats, but one can always seems to dominate at feeding time, and a small skinny guy doesn't end up getting anything. I tried to give him food separately but the dominant cat just comes and grabs it quickly. I don't know how to feed the small guy! He's really skinny and looks hungry. Maybe spread a giant bunch of food everywhere lol, that way there will be enough for everyone?

I had the same problem at home with Sir Carlos bullying when the food dispenser dispenses food. So I now have 6 dispensers, and they all spit out food at the same time. As he cannot be at 6 places simultaneously, so it solved the problem. I think you can do the same, put some here and a bunch there, just have some distance so the timid cats wont be intimidated by eating around him. Should do the trick!

@@MeloCat I’m student and i live with my parents my mom and dad they are financially is supporting me with the money for the cat if they need something and I’m trying my best to take care of them I’m not on my own my sisters are tryin to help me two besides my mom and dad like sometimes if I’m at college my sister will put the food for the cats And if im to busy i will send my mom or my sister to go to the vet if my cat is sick or just ate something like chocolate

There's something wrong with having multiple cats are cats caught a snake the other day I'm sorry I meant to say there is nothing wrong with having lots of cats and our cats caught a snake together day and you know basically there were so many of them that didn't the snake was small it was very spread of small and you know that was their entertainment and they and I didn't have to worry about jumping I mean we can keep the nice long grass you know the nice decorative longer grass and they love it and we don't have to worry about snakes because they make sure we're clear of snakes that we all over it if they even think the garden hoses a snake it's really funny some doves that play with the garden hose

You house must smell! I have eight now (down from 17 a few years ago) and I use one litter box with pine litter hidden inside a storage bench. My cats enjoy my bed. The place is clean and doesn’t smell. I don’t have upholstered furniture or carpeting. That’s the secret.

Why would you say her house smells?? If you also have many cats and are adamant that your house does not smell, then why do you assume her house smells? I could understand if you were someone that never had a cat before and truly didn’t know what it’s like, but no, you actually have just as much experience. I really don’t understand why you made that comment. Also no, “the secret” isn’t not having upholstered furniture or carpeting. It’s simply taking care of the animals properly, which she clearly does. Healthy diet, clean water, brush them, play with them, and keep the house and litter boxes clean. It’s no secret.

I think if your 8 cats have one litter box then your house would be the one that smells. Since no cats are going to be happy sharing that one litter box and your cats probably go toilet outside the litter box all the time so they can have a place of their own to do their business. It doesn’t matter if you have no carpets or soft furnishings at all… that’s not the “trick” unless you’re saying that it makes it easier for you to clean up their business (which they must do all over the place) cats that have enough litter trays and are happy and unstressed will not go toilet wherever they want so it’s easy to stay on top of it. I think you’re projecting your issues onto this RU-vidr because you can’t provide adequate care for your own cats. I have 3 cats and want to take my sisters two cats in since she’s recently homeless so I’m watching vids like these. My cats have 5 litter trays with all different substrates. I feel like the newspaper pellets smell the most. But they don’t smell like horrible cat wee or anything they just smell like damp newspaper which isn’t a smell I love. So I put the trays with this litter out in the cat run and keep the trays with pine pellets inside (along with one of newspaper since they do prefer this litter I want to give them an inside option). I have a Manx rescue cat who has issues with her rectal strength as a side effect from missing all those vertebrae so the only accidents we ever have is when she jumps out of the litter tray and hasn’t “clamped off” properly. Unfortunately due to her deformity she can’t control that but we are just mindful in the morning and pick up if there’s a nugget. My house never smells of cat urine, nobody sprays. They have plenty of ways to mark their territory by all the scratching posts you can see in the video, the textured table legs, the drawers and all the soft scent soakers that you can tell these cats wouldn’t have to resort to spraying or toileting anywhere they shouldn’t to feel comfortable. I feel bad for you and your cats if you really feel like that and if your house stinks maybe you can buy another litter tray or 10 to solve all your problems

I think so too, the place can't be more than between 300-350 sq ft/around 30 m2. 9 cats need a bit more space to play. The litter boxes, feeding stations and toys also take up quite some space. And sadly the place looks quite cluttered and with cats being known for their cleanliness... I understand thinking that adopting 1 more doesn't take up much space and always feels like it will fit in but at a certain point you need to come to terms with reality.

@@65denikat isn't that better than the cats roaming on the streets without any owner and starving to death or waiting for accident to happen to them?. They may live in a small space but they are well taken care of by her.
