Even at $200k, that’s nothing to a Billionaire. But let’s say it was $100k, how much is that really?? Because at 1% of a Billion dollars, is $10 Million!!!!!!! So giving out $100k, $200K is NOTHING. No one needs a Billion dollars.
It really makes me happy to see that you guys were appreciated and well taken care of, that rarely happens in the trucking industry and I've been in it for 40 some-odd years. Well Done.
@@NickWeber112I haven’t watched in some time. Hair cut looks good. Sounds like you did an excellent job and were blessed with a bonus. Swift must be a good human. I’d rather listen to 47 chainsaws simultaneously cutting logs than her music, but good on her for being generous. It’s a big world with lots of different styles and taste. I’m gonna get going here in 5 from Seattle . Bob Seger is cued and ready to play “ Roll me away.” Enjoy your youth Nic; it will fly by like road markers. Be cool.😎
@@rayray4192 I love Bob Seger and I love a lot of Taylor’s deep cuts. Her lyricism is bar none. Haven’t been a huge fan of her radio hits but the music just written from the heart, not meant to be commercial, are where her true talent is.
@@sirsimonthesentry4787 The motor city rocker, Bob Seger, put out some great truckin music. Taylor Swift is a joke. Give me Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. I primarily listen to smooth jazz and blues. But you do you brother. Hope you’re well and happy today, and your needs are being met. Peace.
@@rayray4192 You should give Taylor's "folklore" albums a listen. I think you might find that you're judging her talent based on a handful of radio hits that she had to put out to keep her label happy instead of the music she actually enjoys creating.
@@NickWeber112what year is your KW. I have been a diehard Cummins guy years. I got a truck with a 12.7 Detroit and I have been really impressed with it after a lot of work. Are you guys like me paper. My egn is a 98? I am taking it you don’t get home much?
From a swiftie - It’s always so cool to see the behind the scenes!! Taylor wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you! Everyone behind the scenes is just as important as she is and we’re so grateful for you!!
Nick, My names Mike and I work at Vehicare Fleet Solutions in Kansas City. Wanted to reach out and say we really appreciated you trusting us to get your ride up and rolling again and the shoutout. Next time you’re in Kansas City swing by and we will treat you to some KC BBQ!
I certainly hope that Taylor has set a precidence for those other truckers who are doing other tours as well when it comes to getting a nice bonus! You all deserve it!!
100% agree, except being in the semi repair business, he has one of the best trucks available on the planet. Almost aything newer than 2012 is a pain in the ass POS lol
It’s good to see drivers getting appreciate it for hard work and her knowing along with her mom and dad who decided on the blessing of a good raise , them being away from family for a good amount of time. Keep trucking I’m a trucker myself for 24 years and enjoy nature and getting appreciate it as well If you need or know if they or any show need a driver let me know Thanks
@@RedheadedMusic the company I work for shomotion goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. I am extremely blessed. And was fortunate enough to hang out with her dad a few times before we were ever handed the bonus. Extremely nice and friendly people!
Man, sweet ride. I literally just got my CDL a few days ago. It’s cool to see another side of trucking besides industrial and “normal” jobs in trucking. Happy for you man and great content. Stay safe on the roads bro.
1. She left her talent back in 2010. She’s garbage now. All modern music is. 2. She hasn’t done anything for the economy. She helped the economy of the venues she performed at, but not the actual economy. Her tour didn’t flood money back into the market, she kept most of it and gave some away. That’s not doing shit for the economy. Stop saying that
My general dry goods and spot market freight seems SOOOOO much more boring when I see stuff like this! 😄😄 Totally jealous of your gig! It's cool seeing people do interesting parts of trucking.
What a great opportunity to drive for her team and big responsibility that goes with it for the driver .. as my uncles and dad always have said without our truckers there is not much being moved without them keep going.. keep driving safe
LOVE THIS - im a self made so called Global executive from a humble middle class Trucker family.. Nothing compares but being a part of the people doing the work.. left the big city - and content knowing this is where I want to be...thanks for sharing =)
I’ve been driving since 1998. Dry van and refrigerated freight. It’s interesting to see videos on other aspects of trucking. I got to see Taylor in Minneapolis. Great show. What a stage. Hope to see her again the next time she comes through Minnesota
I'm jealous. Not over the fact that you're traveling for Taylor's shows but of all the sights you get to see and that your dog gets to come with you. I have lived in Indianapolis my whole life and only traveled a few times. Wish I could tag along. I would have to bring my pitty though 😅 Impressive work!
That is so amazing you give your truck driving associates such kudos, These guys never heat any kudos. You guys are amazing❤ love and thanks to all of you. I come from a family of truck drivers and is nothing short of hard work and long hours❤
Yeah.! Good for you and your team Nick. Swift stunned the tour's trucking staff by giving each trucker a check in the amount of $100,000, Michael Scherkenbach, founder and CEO of Denver, Colorado-based Shomotion trucking company, told CNN. Shomotion is one of two transportation companies used by the tour, he said.Aug 3, 2023
No problem Nick I'm not even a trucker, always love big trucks and I've been around it my whole life one being my uncle having a recovery & service company, so I can appreciate the The grind been a subscriber for long enough I don't think I had to go back and watch many past videos to catch up. When you picked up those aluminum stacked utility trailers from Alcom different state but that's the company I work for. That was pretty cool to see that and then you should do more with Steve from welder-up, that dude's got some pretty cool projects.
That storm off in the distance amazing!! Nice job getting things done Nick i tip my hat to you ive done trucking 43 yrs.retired in 2018 im 72 yrs.old and i still get that itch LOL!!! Be safe my friend!!
I heard all the drivers on her tour got a decent raise!!! Congrats if true my brother. Youre killin it. Come a log way sive episode 1. Been here all along

After being a yard haustler for a distribution center for 10 years I can't imagine backing that rig into some of my old warehouses with 2" on each mirror backing inside the buildings. My tractor was as long as your sleeper. Do you ever use that deck for cargo beside the e-bike? BTW- I'd keep the YZ450F there instead, but I get the application. Great video.
Thanks 🤟🏼 I used to put the bikes and snowmobiles on the deck but never any paid cargo. Since redoing the deck I’ve been reluctant to put anything bigger than the e-bike up there to prevent damaging the wood. I’m sure we will have a snowmobile on her this winter though 🤣
Nick, question were you running for a company in Valparaiso In. ?? Thank you for the response. Keep up the great work and representation of the industry!!
I was a lead driver with Upstaging, Inc 12 1/2 years from 1986 to 1999 touring with everything big and small. It’s not a life that you want unless you’re single and don’t want to ever be home. The smaller tours were much better. I did the stones McCartney Madonna U2 all the big tours, and believe me the one or two truck tours of the best wants to do.
This is like my two worlds colliding lol. I work in logistics for a huge grocery chain during the week & front a touring band on the weekends (just a van and trailer lol)
I think you need one of those phone/base things that cling to to the window so you can place iPhone while driving and still film. I use in car driving around town and than I use just one finger not the best to move around but can still pick up the road! Cheers happy to have found your channel
To all truckers thank you with all my heart n soul it's hard buy yet gravy driving a semi to concerts food everything y'all do for the world amen be safe out there trucking
Dude were you in El Paso traveling north towards Las Cruces NM on Saturday August 26th!? I was right behind you! They were doing construction on the highway and we were stuck in two lanes for a good like 15 to 20 minutes and I remember thinking “hey this truck is really nice, love the cream color with red accents and that matching bike is awsome!” Lmaoo small world! Had I known u were a taylor driver I would have recorded you for my snapchat haha thats soo cool! 👏🏻
It amazes me how those big truck drivers are so skilled in what they do and how they drive. It truly is an art with lots of patience So nice to see them so appreciated and compensated for the hard skilled work they do. It is so facinating🎉😮
Thank you for everything you had done for our community!!! You DESERVE A ⭐️ Keep up the good trucking work! That truck SHES A BEAUTY! I'm subbing to you now!!!! #ThankATrucker
Truckers are the unsung heros to merchandise transfer in America. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to be continually on the road trying to meet concert schedules. Seems like a lot of pressure. Always on time always making Taylor look good, lots of responsibility. I worked as a roadie once back in the 80's for amateur band, way too much pressure. Good work experience clearly a younger person's job. Thanks for the video.
Great job, I use to Rodie / Drive for a pyro Company.. That KC stadium is nice except the last time I was there they only had one tunnel to load end and out of. Got tight when people left there crap end it. 😂🎉
Love your Class 8- KW what a wonderful Ride. Nice Doggy also. I wish you could see my 1971 SeaGrave Fire Engine. I Drive her around My Area for KIDS events. Its power is 8V-71 Detroit Diesel-5 speed Dana/Spicer manual. I put stacks facing skyward, she screams down the streets. Love to have you get behind wheel on her my friend. Thanks for getting Taylor's stage on time. I have never understood how you guys can get that stuff to next stadium in time for set ups.😊
Man that is so dang cool! I would love to see that fire engine sometime, sounds you make a lot of kids days! Friggin sweet man! Thanks for sharing! Ride on😎🤟🏼🙌🏼
Thank you for making the video about trucks. I follow you from Thailand. I really like American trucks. There are some in Thailand, but they aren't as beautiful as American trucks.
