I have a 2014 M6 convertible- you’ll be using comfort mode most of the time when driving it normally. It’s very aggressive in sport and super sport modes… super aggressive shift points etc.

Idk. I don’t think it’s the best idea to ALWAYS have it in the sportiest mode. Faster wear and tear I usually just drive it in regular settings. But to each is own

The f series ones like mine are more reliable than the older e63 v10 ones. Leave it stock and it'll run for basically forever. Modified its still pretty reliable but more intense of a maintenance schedule. I've been a bmw guy for a long time. I'll always recommend them haha

I HAVE THIS BMW M6 10 CILINDER WITH 20625 MILES , AND I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISION , I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEN TO A PROFESIONAL IN SPORTS CARS AND TOLD ME THAT I NEED TO REPLACE THE HIDRAULIC UNIT OF THE TRANSMISION AND IT HAVE A PRICE OF AROUND $10,000 USD IS THEIR ANY OTHER CHOICE OR BEST PRICE ?

2-3K on an oil change? What kind of synthetic are you running? Ceramic coating your gloss wheels helps reduce the brake dusting. Nice ride. I never was a fan of the M6, but after driving one I finally get it.

I always use oem bmw oil. The m5 and m6 of this generation love to eat through oil and spark plugs. Better to be safe with such an expensive platform, especially After mods. I know too many people who blew their engines

Your seats should fold down in the back plus a pass through ,

@@ty_zib in the trunk you will see a small lever , one on the left and one on the right, there basically on the opposite side of the quarter panel

Don’t think they do ? I wish mine did but certainly not on the UK models anyway. Not sure about the GC however.

Coupe rear seats don't fold down. I believe that option is only available in the vert.

I haven't added any front lip to the car. The roads here in Michigan are trash and I didn't feel like spending money on something that will get destroyed super quick haha. Front Grills are from eBay (like $60 If I remember correctly) and same with the mirror caps. Congrats on your m6!

Yes! I love the M2 platform. Very good options for mods but very impressive stock. I've never ridden in a competition version but I'm sure it's even better.

@@ty_zib and BMWs have a reputation of being unreliable and expensive to maintain after warranty, is this really true?

The new ones are pretty bulletproof as long as you do regular maintenance. Older ones are also solid if you don't mind turning some wrenches
