Do any of your dogs do these things? Comment below what your Papillon does if I didn't mention something! As long you have a Papillon you'll never sleep alone, eat along, or go on adventures alone. They are such intelligent dogs that deserve more popularity. Papillons will rarely keep you guessing what they want. They are decisive and adorable dogs. Also, Oranges are safe for dog in small amounts. They are high in sugars though, so feed sparsely if your dog enjoys them.

MY 17 YR OLD GIRL JENNY PASSED IN MARCH FROM A STROKE CAUSED IN PART BECAUSE I WAS IN REHAB AND COULDN'T SEE HER. I HAD A BOY DINKY WHO PASSED FROM CANCER BUT A FRIEND BLESSED ME WITH JENNY. I MISS THEM SO MUCH. IF YOU HAVE A PAP, CHERISH EVERY MOMENT.

I'm glad I found this. A year ago, I got a papillon and a chihuahua, and I already had two chihuahuas. The papillon is always right under me, and she acts like this one. Now I know it isn't just her. She has a lot of energy and is very loyal! She does play a little too rough with the others at times.

It's all too true! I often step on, trip over, miss my two dogs, they are always underfoot. Also, say good bye to any privacy you once had. It's no more. Personal space is also no more. Doesn't exist. But we wouldn't change our Papillions for anything- love them too much 😂😍

my papillion is 14 now and sleeps 90% of the time, but his 10% of activity is full insanity lol. they are nuts even in old age 😆

My Papillion loves fruits and vegetables, I give them to him every day. The only vegetable I found that he will not eat is parsley. Of course, I avoid onions and razors and other bad things. I’ve had my Papillion for three years, and I’ve never been alone since. I love him 2:57 2:57 2:57 2:57

My Gia is a very picky eater, snuggles all the time, she loves to play, yes she does sleep with me and she has to be touching me. She knows our schedule and keeps me on track!! She loves my grandkids. She has a stubborn streak a mile long, she’s larger than most papillons. I don’t know what I’d do w/o her!! 💖

My dog Kody LOVES oranges!! In fact I called to him when I saw Percy eating an orange slice. He looked at me with a curious look because he heard Percy bark earlier lol. If I eat an orange slice Kody and do not share, Kody looks at me like "I'm, what's wrong with you woman?!!" I ALWAYS have to share oranges, apples, bananas, honey, peanut butter, a few almonds, broccoli...the list goes on and on of healthy human food. It's a good thing Kody is a huge dog, the size of a small horse and around 90 pounds lol. Although our small cat runs the house. Lol

Mine is silly all day.He loves to cuddle & barks a lot at one of my cats.He was previously owned so I got him at 6 yes old.He s the cutest.I got a bark collar for him for outside & it worked.

The book we purchased on the breed called papillons “Velcro Dogs,” since they loved being attached to their owners. I loved my little guy so very much. And true, they will tell you exactly what they want (if you are willing to listen). If I ever got another dog it would be a papillon.

Our papillon loves to eat cherry tomatoes from the garden, red grapes from our vines and apples. She doesn’t like cooked carrots but she does eat raw carrots. Hates popcorn, green olives, and celery. Your right. We are never alone!,,,,

Hahahahaha I simply love this video. This video had me rolling in the floor in laughter. This is so my dog Kiwi 💕 Love. She is the boss of me. I take her everywhere with me. I take her shopping for her toys and yes she picks them out…LOL. Papillons are so much joy and fun. So much love and great bond. Kiwi is a great watch dog. When she wants a treat she will open the door where I keep them. She tells me when to go to bed.lol She is a very picky eater and have to cook her meals every day and truly enjoy cooking for her. Where you see me, there she will be. We walk every morning before coffee or breakfast for 45 mins and the exact same thing before bed🤪🥰

My Ziggy used to scratch his metal water bowl to either tell me the water wasn’t fresh enough or close to empty. He’d do it repeatedly until he got my attention and I did the deed. Later he became sensitive to any metal scraping and he stopped doing it. We had to be very careful when eating not to bang dishes and silverware on our glass table. He started having seizures and sadly the vet had to put him down. We think he developed a brain tumor. It will be a year we lost him in a couple months. I miss him terribly. Such a special dog. Watching Percy helps me remember the good times and how lucky I was to share some time with him.

My husky to. She loved kale and oranges. She would drop dog snack bones to get oranges. My Papillon ears them to, but not as much as my past on husky. My current husky dont eat any of those things.

Around 2 in the afternoon Punzel puts her paw on my knee saying its lap/nap time. She doesn't like fruits but eats different veggies. She is the only dog I've ever known who doesn't want chocolate. I know they shouldn't have it but like us, we don't always choose the right thing to indulge in. Do all paps shun chocolate too? We tire but she never tires of chasing the frisbee. She also hunts mice, crickets, snakes, and birds. The one snake got smart & climbed to the top of a bush to sun himself leaving Punzel sniffing around the roots. A Papillon is better entertainment than TV. Best yet she loves everyone.

I'm not really much into "cute" tricks but I am into a lot of training... especially "day one" training. Don't care if it's my Rottweiler puppy or small dog, #1 is "get-outa-da-way". I never allow a puppy (or Kitty) underfoot. Never. Their staying out of my way or out of certain areas like directly in front of the stove, sink or high human traffic areas like door ways, side walks and stairs (they must follow and never dart in front). It is their Job One!

So highly intelligent and easy to train. I hung bells on my door and when I took her outside I rattled them. Now she rattles them when she wants to go out. They are obedient fast learners. Tricks are easily taught with repetition.😊
