This video is us sharing all our stats, such as, fuel usage, water usage, food prep, sleeping arrangements and even how we manage natures call while exploring the Simpson Desert with our family.
@@ShaunMatthews-uw3rx thanks mate. I love hearing this. I’m so glad it’s been helpful to you and I appreciate you making the effort to let us know. Thanks.
Just stumbled across this video and loved your informative review of some important considerations if planning a desert trip. I’m feeling more confident after watching, but still have lots to learn! Also loved that three generations of your family enjoyed this experience together - awesome stuff! Looking forward to checking out your other videos as well. Have just subscribed. Very best regards, Baz🤙🙌🙏
Thanks Baz. It can be quite a daunting process to plan this trip, especially if you’re not used to such things. The grandparents weren’t sure if they would do the crossing with us right up to Birdsville. In the end they loved it as much as we did and are keen to do it again as are we all. Good luck with your trip mate.
Another great video thanks for all the information, looks like you all had a great time and a clean run, looking forward to more adventures from you and your family. Happy Travels to you 🤗🤗
Thank you fellas so much for taking us along with you much appreciated, thank you to for the post activity debriefing really informative 👍👍 have you talked us into doing it ? Not a hope in hell 😂😂you’ve just reaffirmed my reasoning for not going. The fly’s are a given but how cold the night’s can be may catch you out. As for fuel, I for one am mighty impressed, given the terrain and soft going it’s remarkable really 👏👏👏as for the toilet,I’m with your dad on this one only way to go . Currently at Lake Elingamite down near Warrnambool free camping and fishing or at least fish feeding 😂 👁️👁️😎😇🐕🦺❤️🙏🇦🇺
Great to hear from you Graham. It’s quite an endeavour to take on a desert crossing and definitely not for everyone. I hope you keep enjoying your trip. We haven’t been down that way yet.
@@AdventuringPals if you do come down this way I hope you’re into crowds 🥲. You’ll need to park the van up somewhere and day trip, standing room only even on poor weather days. Think Gold Coast theme parks crowded and you won’t be too far wrong. We have managed to find quite places to camp be any attractions are swamped. ❤️🙏
