@@Owyourhurtingme That's not true. I don't know if your lying on purpose or just misinformed but he thought he was adopted because Sonny got his mother pregnant when she was young and he was already married so she had to make arrangements. It wasn't like today. Back then an unwed woman with child was a huge scandal. You can read this on his Wiki which is what you should've done first, or at least carefully.

Professor Suge - It is really cool that you were able to get a grip on things, settle down and figure out what things are the most important in life. Go up to your mother and thank her for instilling these values in you. Single parents are so common these days that a lot of people forget just how hectic that job is. Raising a kid (let alone multiple kids) on your own in insanely difficult. Thank your mother for giving you a chance in life. Take care.

It does my heart good to hear you talk about your father with reverence. When I was pretty young, a Sicilian old timer took me under his wing. I learned many life lessons from him. I was adopted into his family early on and later when im older I worked for him. Would drive him where he needed to go, collect what he was owed and so on. He's gone now and I miss him, I miss learning from him. He was very smart, scary smart about people and business, you name it. Being born on Mott St in 1937 he was very observant. He was very closely involved with John and Sammy and when their whole drama played out in front of the world, he split for a while. Watching your videos brings back some memories. Anyway, it's good to hear the respect in your voice when you discuss your father. See you next week.

Thanks Mr. Franzese very encouraging to see people turn their lives around. I have a father but have never known him as he left when I was 1 years old. My mom is single and raised my brother and I since 1981 as a single parent. We gave her so much hell in our youth years, with getting in trouble with the law, going to jail all the time, but she did an amazing job with what she had. My brother an I both have amazing wives and kids now wouldn't change it for anything. That's a testament to a parents love for their children whether you have one parent or two. I don't know what my life would've been like had my father been there but I seem to think it wouldn't be as great as it is now. Thanks again Mr. Franzese. Sorry my mom always taught me address people as Mr. And Miss.

I think Michael speaks from the heart and has a lot to offer for those willing to listen. Growing up in an Italian American Family, I can closely relate to the principles and virtues he has expressed regarding the importance of Family, dignity, and self-respect. Looking forward to watching this channel grow and receive the attention it deserves. Good stuff right here people. Good stuff.

Great story Michael. God seems to be using you alot. I was thinking of an idea maybe you could start a podcast speaking to guests about life lessons and stories that bring value to people. Maybe stories about how God helped them.

@Real World Warrior lowen Yes, you're right that some people die and some people live. Some have it rough and some live in comfort. But we choose to believe that heaven is true, and hell is true. And God will do justice to each and every soul. There's really no debating here. Peace.

Damn...This had me tearing up. If you had just told him to stop getting into fights it probably doesn't work. Instead, you made him realise that him fighting didn't only hurt him but it hurt the person who loves him more than anyone, his mom. Great job, Mike. 👍

I love your giving a nod to that prison in California. I chuckled out loud. And your message about strong families is ever so spot on. We need to pray for all families. And as the saying goes, the family that prays together, stays together. 🙏🙏🙏 AMEN Michael!!

Micheal I’ve listened to every interview of yours and have heard your testimony countless times. You are an inspiration and a class act, no doubt. In the chance you see this comment, I was curious of what type of man your grandfather (Sonny’s father) was. Thank you!

Just stumbled across your channel today, subscribed. Great content. I always find it so interesting how the ‘families’ always upheld such strong values in many ways. I think that’s what makes the stories so interesting, is that we have a deep respect for this and secretly wish we had some of those same values ourselves. Keep it coming 👌👌

Great inspirational message, I’ll be sharing because for you to rise from the “ashes” no pun, to give such motivating messages, everyone should hear and gain.
