What it was like doing a PhD | Life update and reflections 

Welcome back Mary ♥ So glad to see you and to know you're doing fine. Well.. maybe not completely fine, but at least to see that you're trying. I know It's hard here, especially when you're away from your family and culture. I also made that crazy decision 10 years ago to come to US and the wounds are still there, struggles of missing your home, feeling of not belonging and never being fully accepted is still there. The whole surreal feeling is still there. Yes, let's heal together! I love the direction your channel is about to take 🥰 Would love to hear all your stories and experiences, thoughts and perspectives. Hey Mary! Since 5 years I’m following your Insta accounts and RU-vid channels (personal and MJ). I see your stories, posts on insta, your whole journey from when you moved to US. And all of those have kind of motivated me to embrace challenges and keep going or just gave me some kind of comfort. I’m so happy you are back on RU-vid & I saw you posted some videos about journaling also which I really wanted to try after seeing it on your insta. This year I moved to another city for my first job. In same country but very far from my native. So I relate to many things you mentioned… especially that part when you think “everything was good back there, can I just go back?” But yeah, deep down we know that we have to do this 😅 Because with all these challenges and experiences we grow more and that’s what life’s all about ❤
