What its like to be in the US Infantry | deployed Help me get this channel more exposure. Comment below on videos you all would like to see next. Follow on IG @official_enlisted_ghost
I was deployed with a guy like you. All he did was lift, eat and go on patrols. I was a boxer so I. Taught him to box and he was my personal trainer for a year. Best shape I've ever been in lol
@Gunna Wit a G for starters I know you that you weren't attracted to his/her comment but for all you know she could be anyone and you still get attracted, and they don't have to be a 50 year old Indian man to be attracted to you, I I just found it stupid that you instantly ask for his/her profile after one comment, and you are very bad at picking up girls, and if you are getting that from me then you definitely are, if you think she will actually give his/her number to a random stranger on the internet who she knows nothing about then you are very stupid
Gabe Taylor Yea, keep saying ur bullshit , Many Afghanis died while they have no guns, many of them are kids, of course there is Taliban members that you guys have killed. That’s cool and the whole world thanks u for that, But u guys also have killed many unarmed people..... which is against the wars law
Asim Bandar yea guys did that stuff near the start of the invasion. Which was over 17 years ago. Stuff like that doesn’t happen anymore. I would know cause I just got home from a 9 month rotation.
Watsup with the call of duty comment section? You have to get shot or see action to consider it a deployment? LMAOOO wild. Its alr respectable that these lads decide to serve unlike yall keyboard warriors firing from the phone and consoles.
If people really compare real life to console or pc then they need help I’m 15 and going into infantryman and I never saw this chaos as a video game i saw it as a way to show how much I care for this country and my family.
20k a year to do pull ups, eat shitty food, fire guns, and sweep rocks? How can something sound so good and so bad at the same time? Edit 2024: Guys I joined the same year I made this comment THAT SHIT SUCKS IT IS NOT HOW YOU THINK IT WILL BE EVEN IF YOU'RE EXPECTING IT TO SUCK! The only reason I would ever advise anyone to join is is they plan on getting out very quickly and securing VA benefits. For all the kids wondering if they should do it, DO NOT GO INFANTRY. You will spend your days wasting space and doing nothing useful. It won't make you feel like a badass. You know what will? All the career opportunities that open when you DON'T GO INFANTRY! YOU WILL NOT SEE ACTION! YOU WILL NOT DO COOL SHIT! YOUR UNIT WILL LITERALLY TRY TO SISSIFY YOU! EVERYONE IS HOMOSEXUAL!
Josh Harris that’s a 5 min consecutive mile. Serious doubts on this one. In sniper plt selections you get 6hrs. Most make it at 4-5 and these are some of the most fit guys in the world. Your ruck was either stuffed with pillows or lying your ass off
“What are the patrols like?” “Uh the patrols are kinda chill and what not, except the time I honestly thought I was standing next to a IED, that was not fun at all.”
Hey Cheeks!! Man I didn't know you had a youtube channel. Man last time I saw you was pass at graduation. Original C 1/19 an B 2/54 man. Glad to see you doing good. If you're not home yet get home soon and safe. Definitely subscribing.
@@enlistedghost9754 hay what do think about talibans negotiations and them trying to take main ground in Afghanistan and the troop withdraw how do you think this will effect taliban presence in Afghanistan whats your thoughts on it?
bUt WhAT aboUt YoUr DIVISION?????? lmao I'm irritated that I attempt to approach military history from the combat level (company to squad and team tactics) because they fascinate me almost as much as weapons design, only to be stifled by the intellectual "establishment" around the subject(s): endless chattering about massive divisions and the rear-area-dwelling politicians (flag officers) who are most focused on by historians/scholars.
This was an excellent video. I enjoyed the realism of it. What I can't understand is the comment section. You have guys who are fellow veterans and you're all trying to put down his deployment as if it was less qualified than yours. It's this cancerous mentality that has poisoned the army so badly.
Mada Mada Dane couldn't have said it better myself brother. I loved the army but sometimes I didn't like the people and the climate. Like I get it we're combat arms it's a different culture and you want to stand apart, but at what point do you stop putting others down and start trying to help out your fellow soldier? Anyway thanks for your service bro 2011-2015
daniel peters it is what you make of it. Did you expect black hawk down? Also opsec man. You never know which crusty old sergeant major is monitoring these kinds of videos. Stay safe out there.
I have not served but I would think being able to train and all that would be good cause at the end of the day everyone tryna get back to there family if it’s peaceful at the moment who’s complaining 🤔seems like as you said people have stick up there ass about who did what and dumb things like that
BLUE CORD RADIO during our deployment everything was on a need to know bases when dealing with social media and civilians alike. Not sure what your unit SOP's were but it sounds like they were flaky.
Richard Dupont , That's because we veteran's were working. Hard WORK some 16 hours a Day! And the veteran like me who had film real life deployment.... The video taping was only done on our time of...Liberty Call. Today all I see is a bunch of Kids in military uniform standing in front of a camera making a jack-but of themselves when they should #1 Take pride in what they are doing. #2 Go to work to Work. This video is not one of those videos but there are many so call Deployment Videos that are really reckless. This is not Hollywood. It's the real World. Soliders die when they get shoot. They don't come back after a commercial break... laying in the bed.... talking about we saved the World! If you really want to make a impact on the world make videos about fellow soldiers who have given there life in battle serving their countries. Honor these brave men and women. In the book of John 15 Chapter 13 verse. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend. God Bless You All.
don't forget to do your cyber awareness, accident avoidance, SHARP, SSD, French Commando Course, corrective training class, IG briefing, and all the other non combat click through we have to do on this combat deployment
@Jose Rafael Bermudez Joining the USAF next year. Finally going to serve my country. Only waited till the last minute. Took eight months to train and get back into shape.
@@nocturnalrecluse1216 Thats great! Don't worry about being fit for the air force bootcamp so much. Just do your best while your in and you'll enjoy it.
To all you silly heads out there he's an NCO now. SMH 😒you guys should calm down and perhaps pay attention to this young NCO's video. Like I said welcome to the corps the NCO corps
Depends on where u deploy to. There are smaller gyms that are just covered by tents or not covered at all. Just weights and make shift benches. It all depends...
In Begram Air Base we (Croatian soldiers) were with couple of us soldiers and we couldnt find the gym so we literally had to make one under the tents, just free weights, some bar and benches. Dont know if they have on there now.
Kept wondering why every single one of your videos had someone commenting, "Ima clap/bust them cheeks"... Saw your name finally. Everything makes sense now. I'm sure that shit has gotten real old for you lmao, I feel the struggle.
I recognize that patch...Texas National Guard. I saw a lot of you guys in almost every school house and deployment. The second largest national guard in the country. My experience with you guys was that you were all very professional.
I was in the light infantry in 1969 in Vietnam,we didn’t get to do all that exercise these guys did, because we spend about 145 days in the field and then we stand down for three days, all we did was sleep 💤 and sometimes missed dinner. That’s how we exercised, walking at least 10 to fifteen miles a day,and prepare for an NDP where we stopped.
That is insane to think of. I havent been deployed at all or been in the military, but I did go to philmont as a boy scout, and the longest march we had was 8 miles and I felt like dying, I cant imagine 15 miles PER DAY.
Travis Whitley, trust me we work with these guys too, but we just got back from Somalia I wish we had the time like these guys, A 3-141 baby doing some real Shit out here
Tony Carrascos daughter Atleast your father died a hero, serving his nation. His brothers in arms surely will remember him for the remainder of their lives. You’ll see him again in heaven, but while you’re on earth, make him proud.
@@bruh1077 dont go to sick call? What the fuck type of advice are you giving. I'm sure her father would be proud that's she neglects her illnesses or health. Dumbass.
exactly what i did in bosnia and kosovo. BUT, since in the austrian armed forces its okay to drink alcohol in the main camp after your "duty time" ... oh man ... we were drunk a lot. one time we was drinking with a hungarian platoon leader, he prefered shots mit medicine alcohol (that stuff with 95% alcohol) ... then vomited out the door, and woke up some recruits to wipe it up lol he showed us a 14,5mm anti material rifle, cool thing, he also wanted to show us his SMG, but he couldn't find it xD army memories are best memories. sometimes.
I swear in tomorrow and pick my MOS 11X I guessing my room here at Meps he says he is leaving August 19th to fort Benning so I’m guessing that’s when I’ll be flying out as well he is also going 11X infantry
Heey, I'm 27 I smoked a ton of weed for years, I'm clean now. I've been a deadbeat thinking there was no real place for me career wise, I've always felt that I was a warrior at heart. I don't shy from a fight despite being out of shape. This has not gotten me far, in fact it's got me nowhere but poor af all my money spent. For the longest time I felt there was no option for me. Now its different. Being 27 I'm at a pivotal point where I need to either rise or continue to fall. I've decided to drop the excuses and I'm determined to serve to serve in the army as an 11b. I've given myself til the spring of 2021 to get in shape, enjoy civilian life, and have the holidays with my wife. I've started running, pushups, and situps. I don't have money for equipment or a gym (yet). If there's any kind of advice from those of you who have served or are serving I would appreciate it so much. Thank you all for your service, I look forward to it.
Best I can tell you as someone who's still in, is keep working on yourself, don't give up no matter what, appreciate every moment before you join, and keep your head up. Army ain't for everyone but if it's one thing I'll give it credit for is that it definitely changes you for the better.
*GAY STUFF ABOUT THE INFANTRY* 1-.DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS 2-.NCOs trying to smoke you because you cant teach a class on Platoon Raid/PTL Ambush when they never teach shit (LITERALLY NEVER) 3-.NCOs trying to smoke you because youre just sitting in the company when theres nothing to do (OF COURSE he(nco) can teach a class or do an early gym release but they NEVER DO. 4-.0400 first call for the field when ACTUAL step-off is at 1400. 5-.Unnecessary patrol base activities. 6-.Being in 2nd Platoon....(released from work 1.5-2hrs after all other platoons are gone) 7-.Being called for something and ending up being a false alarm. 8-.GREEN CORVETTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' 9-''''youre a pu$$y if you dont drink or dip''' 10-.sleeping covered in sweat,or cold af(while in the field). 11-.Non-Tabbed NCOs giving you shit for not Having a Ranger Tab. 12-.Hard to get schools, besides Ranger School (Ranger school OPEN 24/7 BABY) _________________________________ *GAYEST SHIT EVER* *[BEING AIRBORNE]* _______________________________ MORAL OF THE STORY Dont go infantry(or all combat arms),i know youre super HOOAH or HOORAH right now even tho u still live at ur mommys house, but youll get nothing out of the Infantry, its literally like coming out of High Schools..GET AN ACTUAL JOB (human resources or some gay shit, that will actually help you when you get out of the military)... Watching in 2024 as of now, we're pulled out of the Middle East aside from Yemen and we are supporting Ukraine in its war with Russia. Stay hard, soldiers some of us still support you.

Yeah I know right😂 WERE DOOMED, but seriously got in a fight with one, they apparently don't teach them how to fight. ☠️Shit I'd join but I don't like sitting on my ass all day!☝️😎
