Chris Cooper is one of the best actors ever. October Sky, American Beauty, The Patriot, The Company Men, Adaptation, Seabiscuit, Capote, The Town, August Osage County etc. he kills it in every single role

I love October Sky, one of my families all time fav's. But Chris is such an amazing actor. One of the best.. I love every thing He has done, maybe not all the films he was in, but even the not so great films, Chris made it way better.

Cooper was great in the greatest film, yes film, of all time, Lonesome Dove. It catapulted him into many great roles & he’s nailed them. A true character actor, a treasure.
