An ex mp for a reason, no contrition, no self awareness and yet the media think we want to keep on listening to Andrea. Jemma is passionate, whereas Jenkyns is delusional. I see the bots and trolls are targeting this channel, that's always a sign that you're doing well, keep up the good work.

Jemma is clueless. It took us four years to sign off on Brexit, and it became a long drawn out battle exacerbated by resistance within Parliament, bolstered by assurances to the EU that a no-deal departure would never be allowed to happen. This emboldened the EU into realising that they held all the cards, which they most certainly did. The net result being we gave the EU four years to prepare for our departure, and to soften the impact at their end, while we ended up with a deal that would have been so much better had no deal been a very real threat at the time of negotiations. So yes, I'm afraid that people like Jemma do bear some responsibility for the Brexit we ended up with. It's just a shame they refuse to own it.

Ms Forte does seem rather confrontational and somewhat still bitter about Brexit even after all these years. Perhaps her MH would be improved by accepting the Will of the People and moving on.
The will of the people is now to rejoin the EU as quickly as possible, to repair some of the damage the Brexit shitshow has inflicted on the people of Britain whose will should be listened to.
No one is ever required to just accept the result of a referendum and/or general election and let the "winner" of that time do exactly what they choose! You don't understand democracy if you honestly believed that - which you don't. Individual citizens and politicians can forever campaign to change the status quo towards something they themselves think is preferable. One can be certain when the phrase "Will of the People" is used it will always be by a Brexiteer. It is employed as if it is an immutable outcome supported by all, when it is simply a plurality at an instant in time. We now know from polls over a long period of time that a plurality would certainly choose to become EU members again. Would you simply accept the outcome of a future referendum regarding the EU, Single Market, Customs Union and the like if it went against your wishes?
I'm still bitter.cameron used referendum to sort out a stupid argument in his psychotic party.and he bet our future on it.then walked away when it went sideways.classy
