I'm sorry but I have NEVER seen Jupiter look like that through any 60mm refractor. The moons and maybe a band or 2. That said, I have never owned a 60mm apochromatic refractor.
Jupiter arguably looks better in the TV60 than in my C90…though partly that may just be that it takes longer for the C90 to thermally stabilize. While I’ve never tested them side-by-side, the TV60 puts up a better image than the 70mm fpl51 doublets I’ve owned in the past. Also, the seeing here during the warm season can be really good which makes a big difference. Of course jupiter doesn’t look anywhere near as good as in my 8” edge HD when that scope is fully cooled and the seeing is good. But, one can take the TV60 out on a photo tripod for 5 minutes to look at Jupiter and you can’t do that with the bigger scopes.
