Never boring watching Warholm. He runs like a mad man chasing after a bus to get to work, literally. His stride is crazy lol, it's like he goes all out right from the get go, setting an insane pace to the races.
@@alexanderl9985 Norway have the strictest drug testing in the world, blood passes and what not. So I don't think so. Besides, look at Norways drug history, it is literally non existing compared to countries like the USA, UK, Russia, Jamaica, Sweden etc.
He's the ballsiest track athlete right now and possibly ever, and he does it every single time! It seems like he's completely mastered the mental aspect of track and field. It's truly incredible watching him run

I never thought Karsten Warholm could ever improve on his world record performance at the Tokyo Olympics but after his fastest ever season opener it now seems possible.
@@HunterThinker Dos Santos have had a meniscus operation this year, and that may set him back a little and he has not yet run after the operation just a info.
i follow Karsten,i watch him train,he gives everything,once hes injury free and race fit,you getting 100% effort,he doesnt know any less,he will go out hard and keep going,his heart is no regular machine

To be fair, in 2022 he likely could’ve held on for a medal if he didn’t twist his ankle coming off the turn. Look back at the footage and you’ll see how bad it was. The fact that he was able to finish after the ankle twist is really impressive

Why is anyone surprised? Kind of like Sifan Hassan, last year was a recovery year for him. Unless there was some type of huge injury like that of Van Niekerk, why is anyone surprised he is back to form?
@@tahja It was a pulled hamstring, obviously it took him out of contention last year because of the timing, but from what Karsten said himself and from how quickly he was able to return to racing at full speed (if not full fitness) nobody should be surprised that it isn't affecting him this season.
Seems he's on course to better his record, possibly by a lot, to a level beyond Bolt's 9.58 even; certainly possible from the looks of this his first race of the season and of course fully worthy of said hype.
No one, not even Warholm himself, thought that he would win the WC in 2022 after being injured. That he ran 46.52 in Oslo this year gives promise of even better times to come, but I will still be surprised if he breaks the WR this year. His 45.94 from 2021 is just so impressive.
For me as it's his season opening and run that time i think it could be possible he's aiming for the world record again wouldn't surprise me if he did he didn't even look tired at the end of the race and looked really strong from gun to finish
I also noticed He's never tired after his run which is a very strong indication that this man is doping. Lance Armstrong was discovered years later... Something ain't right with this man especially when after he finishes his run he's so doped up he tears his shirt off like a mad man still filled with the drug. Watch how hyped he is after a run...not normal!!!
@@markcaldwell6816 Last year when he got injuried he had little time to train and be at top shape in WC resulting as nr 7. Good indication he dont use doping. And what about Santos if he suddently are back strong in july or at next WC this season- if that happends i would say that is very suspicious

@@jkdure for me he just must have a lot of indurance he probably been training like that to when he was younger to get his body used to it he has crazy strength and indurance but he started of like this before he broke his world record twice in one year so I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks his world record again
The man has the most impressive stride ever in track and field. Is absolutely mental how fast he starts 400m and maintain his pace towards the finish line. His WR is out of this world and I'm really glad to see someone from a Scandinavian country reaching the sky.
I legitimately dont think anyone thought 45 would get touched again but based on this it feels inevitable.... the 4th fastest time ever running in a non-championship meet as a season opener must be unheard of.
Warholm is a weird athlete, bang average 400m runner but he simply doesnt lose speed jumping over hurdles, I would be genuinely interested in seeing him compete in the 110m hurdles

What do you mean it seemed like the days of him running WR pace was behind him? He had a bloody pulled hamstring in the beginning of June. Of course that's gonna ruin his whole season with regards to running close to WR times, but absolutely no one thought he couldn't come back from it. It was just really unfortunate timing for his 2022 season. I understand having to create a narrative of sorts, but please don't just make up stuff.
If you could stretch out his pace ruthlessly from the start and lengthen his distance between strides and make more distance between paces he could have very good success

If he stays injury free, then the simple answer is a resounding NO, he might break his own world record as well and nobothy will even come close to him, is like batteling Usain Bolt, you have no chanse ever to beat him!
1309 points is crazy good. For perspective, no 100m runner in the last decade has ran 9.70 seconds (1309 points). Only Bolt/Blake/Gay have scored 1309+ points in the 100m, the same way only Warholm, Benjamin & Dos Santos have scored 1309+ points in the 400mH & no one else. Also only Bolt/Blake/MJ/Lyles have got that many points or higher in the 200m, even Knighton's 19.49 is below 1309 points. Some WRs aren't this many points. Faith Kipyegon's recent 1500m & 5000m don't reach the 1300s. This is the best performance of the year track & field wise imo. Ingebrigsten's 1500m time was crazy, a European record ahead of people running a North American & Australian record in the same race, & yet Warholm's run is of a higher tier.

@@pervyboy69 Jakob Ingebrigtsen said he look at Bislett as a "B" track because of Norwegian climate. While mondo track dont drenage away water Bislett has tartan track that drenage the water but aint as fast as mondo tracks.
Being a white dude dominating at the 100M, 200M, 400M, 110H, 400MH, LJ, or TJ is special. It’s just not accepted or welcomed in the sport. It’s the one place that a white or Asian man is the absolute minority and even at times bullied and ganged up on. Warholm is a unique athlete and special
