I hadn't seen part one and didn't realize there was one as I was listening to it and I think this does stand very well on its own. This was such a fascinating and enlightening way to perceive trauma and how we deal with it as well as the consequences it holds for those around us. I think this is a story that deserves to be told for the sake of others. Thank you so much for always having such amazing guests. Now I'm going to go look for part one!

This is great. After several years in an intense job situation, this is just what I needed to have a fresh new attitude toward writing. The idea of i kids who feels the urge to self harm injuring themselves with magic on instinct is disturbing and makes for great conflicts

Done right, that could be incredibly inlightening to people that have never struggled with self harm and also incredibly encouraging and supportive for people that do
