Looks like an old sunk shrimp boat. Looks like the riggers are what you see and the engine block. If it was an old wood boat it would also explain why most of the hull is just gone
It was said that they were hunted down so bad they put them on protection in the early 90s but I’d venture to guess they didn’t know about all of them out in the deep water. My buddy chuck has dove since the 70s and told me they never had a problem finding them. I started in 2002 and always seen a bunch of them even in the shallow waters. So from that you guess is as good as mine.
@@jasonbihariI tell ya something I have noticed just from videos of yours and Dan's that have exploded out there. Lionfish. We have had them off N C years.
@sammylacks4937 back dives are known for sharks. Just like the hogs they hear the commotion and come in to check it out. The longer you stay down with one or have multiple back dives they get closer each time. I’m one to aggressively go after them because of that. I’m ether going to push them away or take them out before it’s a problem. The next dive I did was another back dive and didn’t see the shark till I was on the surface and he wasn’t a problem. The next guy up did another dive on the spot and had a nice gag ate off his stringer so that tells you how they advance.
