What KPOP Groups are really singing Live? 

no other kpop group doing it like them when it comes to singing OR dancing..queens

there are a lot of groups that do raw performances way more than le sserafim and also sound way better while doing it btw

there is no backtrack. If it was here you could here the split, but it's just 100% raw vocals. Sugar part was the only one with heavy autotune and if they sang it live they could make the same sound so they kept it as part of the track

I don't think you understand the point of the video. This isn't about who's the best vocalist. LSF doesn't sing live every time, and their raw vocals are not good at all. They can't do the bare minimum. I won't compare their vocals with Mamamoo, because that would be ridiculous, especially because MMM is the best vocal group in Kpop and the only group that always sing live. But let's compare LSF with their seniors like Gfriend who built their company, kicked them out so they can debut LSF. Le Sserafim is nowhere near their level at this moment.

Are they perfect? not at all, in fact just for an example sakura knows her vocals aren't top tier, so she works hard getting vocal lessons and requested less lines becuz of that as well. Also you're not convincing anyone ESPECIALLY yourself that chaewon and Yunjin don't have fantastic raw vocals, if u deny that there's no hope for u. Their vocals are not even average! 2nd: Sakura is in this industry for 10 years and still can't do the bare minimum. That's average, btw, not Mamamoo level vocals. 3rd: Being a rookie group is not an excuse. There are other rookie groups who can sing better. most of the time they don't sing live though. And when they do (coachella day 1, every fearless and unforgiven encore) they sound bad. You don't have to look far to find a lot of evidence that they're not a good group for vocals.

Lol no kpop groups always sing live. There are days when they sing live and days when they just dont for many reasons. Lsf singing live in some performances does not mean that they can sing well, just like there are good singers who lipsync for some performances for whatever reason, and there are also good singers who are just known to have good live vocals too. Lsf is definitely not part of the latter one.

Just because it has been a thing doesn't mean its necessarily acceptable. And people are becoming more smart right now. They know their moneys worth and honestly I am not gonna pay money just for people who cant sing live when it's literally their job

the problem also when you just listen to groups who actually sing live. I have no idea the others actually just lipsync.

Sometimes, it's out of their hands because of how music shows work and big festivals like this. They are on a time crunch and must churn out as many performances as possible. That's why concerts or other things where they sing are important to look at. It's just not fair to label all these groups, especially the 4th and 5th generations, as not being able to sing live when people are not really giving them a chance.

It's not about giving chance because they always have a chance coz you see even if they lipsync, the mic are always on. There are lots of kpop idols who still sang despite having a backtrack and split (though mostly the live vocals are just 10 percent of the whole performance). And people will keep saying something to justify that when actually if they are not good singers then the company must focus on training them in that department before letting them debut. I am also just tired of seeing the fans justifying their idol, like the heck just accept the fact that some of them can't sing live. Yes, most of them can sing but singing live is really not their forte and I hope they can take people's criticism to improve themselves(especially to the company that handling them). Like duh they are entertaining to watch but honestly, every performance is almost just like the others.

No its actually not biased at all, Kpop stans just always want to act like they know everything, and wants to get mad when someone tells them the thing that they THINK they know is wrong. Kpop Stans HATE admitting when they are wrong. @@manuelapaiva3600 not my fave all my fave can actually belt and consistent like BABYMONSTER , SB19 ,BINI and G22 this are all my fave whos consitent but of course no one is perfect they have off night as well like a true singer, but they are consistent on their live performances and giving Highnote 95%

nmixx was every bit as raw as they were on every university festival stage they did last month, more raw on every stage practice video they posted (no mics), and every single stop of their showcase tour where they sang encores raw with no backing track at all. Like I get wanting to defend them but I need you all to stop with this "no other group" BS when you have no idea.

fir real, like aespa were going to many universities during supernova and armageddon promos where they always sang live, some of these performances were on the same day as the music shows. so i dont understand why they had 2 clips of a supernova music show stage and not at least one from the university performances when its known that aespa never sings live at music shows.

LSF don’t need to sing live to prove themselves, 1) So many groups performed overseas and full on lipsynced their performance so LSF doesn’t NEED to sing live over there but cause they usually sing live they did. 2) Lesserafim HAS been singing live it’s not their fault you people don’t know the difference between 100% live, Split and lipsync. Yall so used to splits where we hardly hear the idols sing and call it live singing so we you actually hear real live vocals especially with LSF type of choreography yall lose your shits cause they don’t sound perfect like your favs “lives performance” mind you Lesserafim are the only group to sing actual live no spilt and just low backtrack at Coachella out of all the groups that’s performed there during but yall dragged them. Cause a 2year ago with 4/5 members who had less than 1 1/2 year - 6months of training didn’t sound like the cd versions of their songs. If y’all actually cared about Lesserafim vocals like you pretend to and not just an excuse to hate on them you’d actually watch their performance at their tours, weversecon, uni festivals awards shows but no yall yall a bunch of sheep and watch the same clips where they sound bad (mind you again one of the only 4th gen groups who actually sing live majority of the time) and run around claiming they can’t sing. that's what called splits. the whole performance is planned. some lines are sung live and some parts are lip synced (in every kpop performance). sometimes when dancing there are lines that you can't keep stable. so they lip sync to the backtrack. sometimes they sing live on top of the backtrack but the volume changes. sometimes backtrack is dominant and sometimes the live vocals are dominant. it's all done by live mixers and sound engineers during the live performance. There are lot of effort and resources put into these mixing of live vocals and backtracks. lot of people don't know that.

i think these days, they're really not into making their artist perform live in music shows. but somehow in performances outside music show, they sing live
