Seriously how much will dealers be asking for the 2017 Raptor, i have heard the base price will be about $51, 000 from what i have heard on the internet but some local dealers are saying $60, 000 to $65,000 + which makes me nervous as i so want the Raptor fully loaded but not for $65,000 +
Dont cry americans, 60 k for the limited is very cheap , here in mexico a f150 platinum costs 74k and we see the high prices of cars normal , and we continue buying overpriced new cars , wish I live un Usa to buy more cheap cars ,I paid 57k for my 2012 R/T, compared in Usa it would have cost 40k..
I hear ya man. Here in Canada it's the same. About 74 k for a platinum. Americans think they have it so tough. A lot of people here just purchase a good broke in moose to ride because the price of igloos is enough to make ya sick.
I owned a 2011 Limited F150 and I LOVED it. Only got rid of it because of some b*@ch on a phone ran into the side of it. Mine had the 6.2L V8 (same as Raptor) and man would that thing haul butt. Was a GREAT truck. I would definitely buy this one, especially in the White Platinum.....
I don't know why the hell you'd spend 60K on any kind of truck that isn't a heavy duty. And if you don't need a truck for truck things, you can get a freaking Raptor for 10K less. I don't understand why this "Limited" even exists.
Ford makes a $60k pickup because there are people out there willing to pay that price for a "luxury truck" Ford would not make a product without a consumer base out there.
This truck is for rich contractors and construction company owners who will rarely actually test any of a standard pick up trucks functionality. Its more for showing off than anything...
I'm pissed. I had a 2013 f150 limited and than traded for a 2015 f150 platinum because limited wasn't available now when the 16 limited is available I have no choice but to trade in for that too! Can't wait till it's available for factory order! 2016 LIMITED F-150 here I come!
How much money have you wasted trading your cars and buying new....like $20,000? Your 10,000 negative equity right after you buy on new cars...even if you call the Internet department at the dealers. They will sell it to you for invoice which is $56,000 on a 2015 platinum. I checked today.
+Joseph Foster I get a brand new vehicle every year. I got Z plan and GMS so I really make out pretty good. I own a 15 platinum F150 for my business vehicle and a 15 platinum Escalade for my personal use. You have to enjoy life man you can't just work your ass off and not enjoy your life.
+Just Floor It - You are technically correct; I just ordered one and it came to $67K, a Platinum with similar features was quoted at $64K, so not a major difference for the added styling.
Given the price of a King Ranch or Platinum already up here in Canada, I could see this costing $80K-$90K. I really just don't see it being worth it :P
I agree but then again it is a 2016 and I'm sure the value will go down in a few years. And I'm not sure there will be a lot more things with the king ranch or platinum but I don't know
Some of these posts read like they haven't anything else to do except find some nit picking excuse for complaining. I'm sure Ford Motor Company is going to stop production because someone doesn't like the antenna or the new revolutionary backing a trailer assist system.
Sure does like those buzz words, technology, innovation, and luxury. Still dont understand the need for the trailer assist. Looks more complicated than backing up a trailer the normal way
While the truck is nice, I as a customer still want a NICER quality interior with less hard plastic, and richer leather. The interior is still lacking to be truly branded as a high end truck. A 67k 2016 Range Rover Sport HSE has a far nicer and richer interior.
Who the hell wants 22" rims on a truck and small tires? i really dont understand the new trend of putting in stock 20-22" rims, its a truck, it should come with 18's at the most and bigger tires. and remote tailgate release..i dont think ive ever heard of anyone complaining about how hard it is to open their tailgate...nice interior though love the seats.
My business partner has a new x6 and I have a new f150 platinum and I have way more features than he does and mine is way more comfortable. Your paying for the name not what you get with these other vehicles. At least with a f150 you get what u pay for.
It doesn't even make sense. It has a knob that you turn to make the truck turn in the direction you want it to go. Ummmm isn't that what the steering wheel is for to begin with? Sounds more like a lazy feature then a helpful feature.
Teddy Monroe what gets me is the park assist, it's bad enough that you have to ask a person who's borrowing your car if they can drive a stick, now we are going to have to be like "do you know how to park a car?" the more user friendly you make something, the less competent people become, and they become dependent on it.
+josh ziesmer I completely agree, if the person learned how to park or back up, they could apply it to all cars, put with this they can only do it in this.
If you cringe at the price do what I did. Wait three years and get one certified pre owned. There, I just saved you thirty grand. Lol. A three year old platy is only about 33,000. Much easier to digest that sticker price them what a 2016 costs.
trevor cutts Yeah but I could pretty much buy a platinum and put those rim's on it and call it a limited. I mean it's nice and all they brought the limited back and hopping the fx4 come's back as it's own model again. But I was expecting me..
I have a 2015 F150 Platinum. It has 54k miles on it. It has all leather interior, heated massage seats and all the bells and whistles. It has a sprayed bed with a Roll and Lock bed cover. It has weather tech floor mats. It's currently rotting in my driveway. Why? Well it has only been seen at the dealership where I bought it. This same dealership just soaked me for $5500 on repair. Yep, hidden secret to these piles of poop, the dealer will hook line and sinker you. They will then soak your wallet. So the truck sits in my driveway cause we're still not sure if it's road safe. I'm driving my wife's old station wagon. So please learn from my mistake and buy GMC or Dodge or take the bus but don't buy one of these (sorry) piles of mechanical crap.
+Shane Finley I actually bought an XLT recently and I love it. I prefer the sport cloth over the leather in the higher trim models. The only thing I wish I had was power folding mirrors, otherwise the 302A XLT is pretty solid. $38k
03Mach1dmb I have a 2001 XLT, just got new tires & rims plus tinted windows. I don't know if I should get it lifted or not though. I'm planning on buying a new f 150 within the next 4 years. I don't buy a truck for luxry, I buy it so I can go anywhere! lol
Is it just me or do a lot of these "features" come off as being really gimmicky? Massaging seats? Backup Assist? I mean are we even driving a vehicle anymore?
Too bad after 80,000 miles on the eco-boost a run like shit because of carbon buildup and you can't do you know kind of feel injection cleaning it will kill the turbo
I don't like the Leather quality at all on these looks almost fake with how loose it is also doesn't look stitched well, kinda makes you wonder what a production version is going to look like the ones used for these events are usually the best built seeing as their showing it to those who may be on the fence about the truck I think if they tightened up that leather and used higher quality coloring the truck would be nice oh and of course a real V-8 instead of those eco junk engines.
***** Those engines drink fuel and have issues why would I want that in a truck that I need to be reliable? Sorry Ford fan a pickup should never have a V-6 as it's top engine that is just plain stupid and Ford is paying for it GM has been selling more units per month almost all year, I wonder why? Nobody trusts a tiny motor to tow, plow snow, haul heavy loads in the bed those turbo's working that hard all the time will not out live a N/A V-8 that's just common sense I never take people who randomly insult others seriously just shows you have nothing interesting to say so you fill the gaps with hateful BS go take a seat and learn some respect it's called an opinion get over it. Nobody said "hey you have to read this and like it" so there was no need for you to even reply.
Paultwice22 Most people aren't buying F-150's right now I have no problem with Eco friendly engines but your top engine in a truck should be a V-8 period anyone who uses a truck for work not some big car knows this, again you knew what I had to say stop replying Ford makes crap you defend them can't help you with that now stop bitching.
Paultwice22 LOL Ford is the only company getting rid of the V-8 sorry GM, Mercedes, Chrysler were all asked "are you keeping the V-8" all replied YES so have fun with your Gas guzzling engines. People do not want to pay for a smaller engine in a truck they want power thus the reason GM's 6.2 and RAMS 5.7 are selling o well and they drink less gas on regular, and I know Ford says you don't need premium again any car person knows a gas turbo charged engine needs the higher octane for the ultimate in performance and economy Ford doesn't want to say that because it would make the engines useless for saving anything which people who have driven already know they don't get anywhere near claimed gas mileage the the #1 thing you hear in every Ecoboost review. So I get you like Ford's but that doesn't mean they make good cars slapping a turbo on an engine has been done for years so they are doing nothing new.
60K for a 1/2 ton truck?? A truck is meant for being a work horse not a luxury vehicle. All those gidgets and gadgets are just something to break if you use the truck for what its meant to be used for
Honestly, I love Ford pickups (I have an F350) but I think they need to step away from the luxury segment. I have 2 Mercedes (And ML350 and an S550) and these vehicles define TRUE luxury. To me this pickups interior still looks plasticy and low quality (Btw, that is NOT wood you would find in a Bentley. My S550 has burl walnut which looks much better than this junk) Ford, just stick with being Ford. You are not a Luxury car brand.
Nearly 70K for a pickup truck?? With that cheap plastic everywhere looking interior?!? Hahahaha! "But it has a piece of REAL wood right here!" LOL!!! Only in 'murica
bliglum A base M3/m4 which nobody really wants. Regardless, someone looking at a pickup isn't going for a M3. I was just trying to put the pricing into perspective. Yeah, 60K is expensive. But the F150 is allot more car. You cant expect a rolls royce interior, even for that price.
HDaviator Yeah, get every feature on the limited and it'd probably be more too, though I'm sure the M would top out higher. And yeah, Rolls Royce interior? Hahaha!! Right!!! But it wouldn't have killed them to wrap some leather, or at least vinyl, around some of that cheap hard plastic.
bliglum I am a RAM guy so I'm not biased. When I was sitting in the Platinum version of this truck (1 step down since this Limited wasn't available for 2015) I was surprised with all of the soft touch materials. Unless you have been in one and touched all of the surfaces inside the truck, don't comment.
A: "LIMITED" on the hood looks stupid.B: What difference does the grill make? It's still freaking plastic.C: Nothing on a Limited vehicle should be an option.D: Anybody who actually works probably wouldn't have this truck (because they can't afford it or be using it for work)E: Adding a VIN anywhere else other than the normal places does not make it more exclusiveF: Comparing a Ford F-150 to a Bentley is ridiculous and smugG: 22" wheels. No explanation needed. This truck is no more special than any other F-150 other than the leather seats and a few more options that are standard. $60,000 for any half ton truck is stupid and anybody who buys one should have their judgment questioned on a regular basis.
60k for a 1/2 ton truck? Is Ford fucking crazy? I'd never spend that much money on a fucking truck. If anyone is going to buy the higher end models, then they should just go for the Platinum. Anyway, ignoring all that other gimmick shit, I think the most important update is the new Sync. Because the old one wasn't all that great.

Ram laramie limited has a nicer interior and they didn't even put it as a comparison, smh. Also the back doors wood trim looks retarded the way they put it.
all that money and they give a stupid azz panoramic roof, i want an entertainment screen for my kids to watch movies or play games. wifi so they can search you tube and play videos. way to miss the mark ford. why dont you step up to this century.
