I'm currently looking to get into real estate, specifically the sales negotiation side of it. I am 21 and live in south east London. i currently have no experience in real estate but very good and maintaining a relationship and selling products. Would you say this was a bad time to start as a trainee?
I say no experience, but i have been reading up and learning about marketing and the way estate agents have to really get a good understanding of the buyer and seller. i know its not much at all. Although i am still learning day to day.
i'm doing the same thing and i'm also from south london, the best thing to do would be to go to an estate agency and ask to get to learn for free. and there's no best time to start the earlier you start the better it is.
Hey, can you give an estimation on how hard it would be to find your first job as a trainee estate agent, with no degree (some customer service/sales experience) in ? Is it very competitive? Thanks.
Google estate agency roles, check indeed or linkedin - you don't need any qualifications. Better still, pick an agency you like and approach them with your cv or a friendly face. There will be thousands, if not tens of thousands of EA roles for trainees up and down the country. It's easy peasy!
