Many of us now crave material goods, but they shouldn't be our main focus. While luxury purchases, money, and fame can bring temporary joy, it is shallow and fleeting compared to the happiness we derive from our connections with friends and family. They are what truly matters to us. In essence, our innate desire to cultivate and nurture relationships is fundamental to our existence, and only through meaningful connections can we truly thrive as individuals.

How can someone who is socially awkward and prefers to be alone invest in relationships?

This is exactly the most important question in the world you should ask and try to find the answer at all cost for yourself. God will bless you!

I’m no expert but I am socially awkward and prefer to be alone. Having one or two strong close relationships helped me, sometimes as much as I wished to be alone I’d go and meet a friend, not always but most of the time I felt better within the first hour of seeing them. It was hard and I didn’t always go to see them and stayed alone. I almost always know how I’ll feel when I make that choice. Sometimes you have to take the initially uncomfortable choice and develop one or two strong closer relationships and it’s hard but force yourself to go sometimes, you will feel better doing it even occasionally. Good luck

Try investing in relationships with other beings. Like plants, dogs, or volunteering to the extent of your comfortability.
