What Makes Lineups So IMPORTANT? 

I think you missed some pretty important stuff on spawn points : -every time you spawn a tank, you’ll increase the cost of all other tanks. -if you scout an enemy and he gets killed by an ally, it will reduce all spawn point costs by 50. And it adds up the more scout kills you have. Nukes are NOT impacted by that. -planes behave differently. Each type has a minimum cost depending on your br and the game br. Adding armements will increase the cost. They are affected by the scout mechanic. Where it get interesting is that by spawning a certain type of plane (fighter, attacker or bomber), you don’t actually increase the cost of the other types of aircraft. That means that it’s preferable to have 1 fighter and 1 attacker rather than 2 of the same, as you’ll spare around 500-600 SP on the second spawn.

10:46 playing Germany now for 5 years i can say exactly what happend there. - you had at least 5 player that only had Premium vehicles - the one guy who left there mig 15 in there 6.7 line up - the one french boy that actually plays france - the two guys in a full uptier who decide to throw in the towel when they loose there best tank - the two afks that just realized that there in a game - and the guy who wanted to play the wisel 1A2 but selected the JaPz.k A2 by accident

One thing I would have added: your rewards are multiplied when your team wins, and having a lineup with a variety of tools makes wins more likely. Even if all you do is shoot down CAS that's a huge W.

My biggest advise is the next one : play what you enjoy playing! Your vehicle might not be the best, but if you enjoy it and you are having fun, it’s all that matter :D

As someone who ahs just reached about 100 hours in warthunder, this means a lot! because I tend to see myself not progressing at all and just swapping to another tree because nothing is happening, only for that to repeat! This video helped me really just straiten out my priorities

Bruv, your editing game is on point. 10/10 Really no other War Thunder RU-vidr puts stuff out like this. A lot of us WT players are jaded old fogeys that just put the information across as is, but it can be a lot to take in for newbies and it's easy to lose folks midway like that. Good guide. Crew points are the most important, I neglected them for a while but very worth it, especially targeting, leadership and loading skills.

Bro I salute u for doings this, it ain't easy at all to explain war thunder to a new player.

a good lineup has - a mobile medium tank, that can relocate on the battlefield where its needed, and has a decent gun. - a decent backup medium tank - preferably a heavy tank for downtiers - a decent AA gun (when it can penetrate tanks from front or side its worth more) - a tank destroyer as backup for when things go bad. often a tank destroyer has a better gun for its BR, so you can bring it in uptiers for high persusasion power. i absolutely prefere turretet TD with some roof armor. having no roof might kill you fast, and having no turret it a heavy disadvantage where it matters (at capturing/defending points). TD with fixed gun and low mobility sucks especially hard. - a fighter plane with either good energy retention or good climbrate. its preferable if it has a gun that can penetrate tanks top down, and/or has some bombs - an attacker or bomber with some decent sized bombs. i personally prefere attackers that also can act as fighters, like in the navy fighter line the american corsair, or in the attacker line the american AM1 or AD. cause almost always your biggest threat in the air ar other air targets

Something I feel is worth mentioning that doesn’t get mentioned often at least not directly is the importance of being a well rounded player. For example, if you only know how to play light/medium tanks, take out a heavy or an spaa and learn how they play best. Even if you don’t like it in the same way you like your light tanks it will teach you the strengths and weaknesses of those other vehicles and allow you to more effectively counter them.

Truly the grind isnt bad it took me 300 hours f2p to get the full german tree 6 months ago now probably closer to 350 if you go for every folded vehicle but for one of the biggest trees its not bad

Couldn't agree more with Germany. I love the "Germany has perfected the losing strategy" line. Which sums up my feelings towards Germany and was ultimately the reason for me leaving Germany for other nations.

recently ive been bringing my friend to 11.7 and hes been outperforming me with his 4.0 line up that isnt even fully 4.0

I've coincedently gotten a nuke with the tam2IP just yesterday. Although the line up I've gotten the most nukes with is USA 7.3 :') with the t95 and m46 carrying, and with which I once got 3 nukes in one hour

As someone who has just been unlocking his favorite tanks Willie nilly , I’d love to get an idea of what country’s line up is best for the 4.0-6.3 BR . I know im doing it wrong cause my tanks are all over the place (example Germany my lowest is a 5.3 and highest is a 6.7 )

As a player for over 8 years, the 8.0-8.7 Japan lineup is quite the rival to the 8.7 Germany lineup with the Type 74 and STB-1 being amazing MBT’s and their support vehicles are fantastic, including their IFV, the type 89 (I think that’s what it’s called) and their SPAA, the Type 87.

the biggest tip is that Skill comes naturally, of course you can train it but after a short while your just gonna forget it, the best kind of skill is the skill that comes naturally when you are playing and most importantly, having fun
