Whether in film, literature, or television, we have all probably encountered a narrative featuring a “plot twist”. But what makes them so effective as a storytelling technique? Aristotle has an answer! And using his theory, this video examines several key examples of plot twists in literature. Namely: Jane Eyre, Oedipus Rex, Venusberg and Macbeth.
