Ive seen those type of prints, but always thought it was silkscreen. Prety cool machine, also like the effect it creates

It is silkscreen, but in a xerox style machine. The drums in the center are basically rolling silk screens. Certainly does have it's own look and style though.

We always ran stuff offset, before digital. What is the advantage of a Risograph vs an offset duplicator?

ancient windows laptop probaby older then the printer tbf

It windows being ancient, its still acts as a 90s system. That also why they look like it ;)

To ask customers to misalign the work themselves kind of defeats the purpose of this method. The misalignment is supposed to be an artefact of the printing process.

Yeah, but it sounds like a fair reply to folks who are asking him to misalign the files. If their goal was to have a unique artifact of the Risograph process, they should just send the files as is. If their goal is to get something that looks misaligned, they should do that on their end (rather than asking him to change the files).
