Yes, I know, I know. I only missed a gazillion other things that makes Keystone the best for the money. Like I say, there is a reason I'm not a rocket surgeon. My memory is soooo bad.
I own a 2016 3791RD Montana 5th wheel with 5 slides and love it .will not buy anything else but a Montana, but wish they would make a 6 slide . That extra slide will give more room in the bedroom.
I don't understand all the negative comments here. We bought our first RV, a 2010 Keystone Springdale travel trailer and used it 5-6 times each year with no problems other than replacing the ghost starting audio system, free of charge from the dealer. In 2018, we traded it in on our new special order Keystone Montana Legacy 3560-RL with full body paint. We special ordered because this was to be our last RV purchase, so we got everything we wanted on it. Our Montana has performed flawlessly for the 5-1/2 years we've owned it. We have a little over 10K miles on it. We ordered it with the dark slate wood interior and it looks fantastic and rich. The full body paint still looks brand new. Perhaps Montana has slipped in the past few years? But ours is rock solid and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I take it back to the dealer for routine maintenance every 2 years for brakes & bearings, and to have all 5 slide rooms checked, but no problems so far. It's 39-1/2 feet long and tows like a dream behind my 2017 RAM 3500 SRW HD truck with H/O Cummins/Aisin. Montana's reputation speaks for itself and I'd buy another if I were in the market for one.
Unfortunately people are more apt to complain than to complement. And I get it. You spend that kinda money and something goes wrong they explode. The other part is sometimes this is a person's first camper purchase and they relate them to houses. It's soooo not a house. They have to be made loosely or they would crumble going down the road. Also, Keystone didn't make that a/c, fridge, heater, slide out motor, awning or whatever. They just installed it. The best part about selling the Montana is I can tell the customer you don't have to believe me. They can believe the last 23 years of it being the number one selling 5th wheel in the USA. So after all the RV shows, Going to five different RV dealerships, RU-vid videos, google research or whatever people choose the Montana over any other 5th wheel.
@@happycampinggeoffHi, I just bought a 2005 3670 Keystone Montana, I was wondering if you could tell me what material is the roofing on this 2005 RV , is it TPO or EPDM? Thank you
This is the first rear bed I’ve seen with a proper closet. I’d be willing to lose the bathroom window and a sink & cabinet space so they could reconfigure it to put the WD back there. The 63BP is my preference, but either way I like Montana’s version of this layout best. Thanks for the tour.
Love this lay out. I hate sharing a bathroom with guests so this perfect. Love the master suite with big shower stall to clean the dogs before a show. Gorgeous kitchen. I would buy this
I agree but I think I would go with one without the raised kitchen and storage underneath. I like my high ceilings. I understand if you are full timing though.
Love it. Design is nice! Don’t like televators. Had one in our prior unit. I’ve had both types of water heater. Sorry, but I like the tankless, makes a huge difference for our family. “ for that reason I’m out.”
Montana is beautiful fifth wheel we r planning full time Montana is our first choice looking for right truck to pull it comfortably for us thinking converting my Peter Built
Even if I could afford a much more expensive 5th wheel I think I would still go with the Montana. It's the things they do that nobody will ever know they do that makes them better.
Cables on the slides is a heck NO. Prefer RLTS just our choice when backing in water sites😉 My wife books great sites in State Parks, National parks and COE 👍
Montana is number one because it’s built like a brick shi#house! It may not be the fanciest one out there but you know when towing it everything’s going to work when you get where you’re going! I do wish they would include an outside kitchen on all there models but hey your getting a solid unit!
It is 41 feet long and yes, they have two color options for furniture. This link will show you all specs from Keystone's website. www.keystonerv.com/product/montana/luxury-fifth-wheels
I see good and bad with this, the 2 bathrooms are essential to any home, thats a plus. I dislike/hate a king size bed..how do you make it up with nice full comforters? You dont..they don't tell you that the mattress has to slide almost off the bed frame to make it up. Pantry looks too small for full-time living.. The couches should be cloth, that leather, that stuff starts peeling after awhile. So otherwise a very nice trailer
Are you sure you are commenting on the right video? You can walk up and pick up a pillow off the bed practically without even bending over. There is almost two feet of clearance on the side of the bed. That and the furniture is made out of the newer sport cloth material. It flat out does not flake or peal. I do agree about the bathrooms though, lol.
That's the thing with campers. If you add two or three feet to the bathroom you have to take it from somewhere else. So where are you willing to give up two or three feet? Shorter kitchen? Oops, then there is no counter space. Put those recliners right in front of the tv? Can't do that, you would have to remove the tri-fold sofas? I hope you see where I'm coming from.
Frame flex is fickle to say the least. Lippert fabricates frames for many manufacturers, all to individual specs. The strength not only comes from the frame but the walls, how and what materials the walls are constructed of but ALSO very important how these walls are attached to the frames. All of this comes out to finger pointing and the customer giving the run around buy a few different manufacturers.
That’s why it has shelves on both sides. They are large enough to store a C-Pap machine. If you add two feet of night stands it’s either two feet longer or you take two feet from another room.
I think they will always find a way to get in. However, with the way Keystone seals the bottom and then runs a secondary subfloor above the tanks it's about as good as it gets.
Quality control is so bad the gaps where the pipes go into the rig, the slide seals, the opening between the slides and the floors all have gaps. My 3725RL was a giant peice of dung that Keystone refused to fix after the one year, or should I say 6 month warranty since I live in the midwest where we have winter. Keystone SUCKS.
Not dumping on Montana but friend has had nothing but problem after problem since he bought his new back in 2021. Another friend bought a Luxe new in 2016 and again had nothing but problems up until the day he sold it. Understand all campers have issues. Keep realistic expectations.
I used to sell Tiffin Phaeton motor homes. The number one seller in the US for over a decade. Yes, they had problems also. They all do. But some more than others. I'm still going with the statistic that the Montana has been the number one selling 5th wheel for the last 23 years. They must be doing something right!
What gets me is what gets past a so called inspection before they leave the factory. I just purchased a 23 KZ 5th wheel and the amount of little things wrong is astonishing. Rave about dual fuel WH and proceed to show an all electric fridge.
That depends on the size of the slide. Main floor and super heavy, no. Bedroom slide with little weight, yes. Also remember they use their own system called 'True Fit Slides'. It's pretty amazing. You can find more information on Keystone's website. When you do, look up the 'Innovation Lab'. It's amazing.
Cable slide is still a cable slide. Very high failure rate and difficult to work on. Stay completely away from any RV that has them no matter the sales pitch. They are terrible.
Umm, then were would you put it? The point of the half bath is so if the owners have guest there is no reason for them to go into their bedroom or main bedroom. Remember, lots of people full time in a Montana. That's their private bedroom and bathroom.
Maybe, just maybe if you knew anything about 5th wheels you would have noticed that the levelers are not down. Without it being leveled out and the downgrade angle of our parking lot, yes, a whopping two millimeters of the cover caught the top of the cabinet. But OMG, thank you for saving the camping world with this useless comment.
I'm kinda curious. What are you talking about? How am I offensive? I see you made this comment at 2:00 AM. Did you stay up a little late drinking maybe???
Negative comments for a keystoner RV. I love those floor vents for such a high end RV, what a joke, nobody there straight enough to figure out how to install those in or under cabinets? You have to be stoned to buy this piece, lipstick on a pig is what this is. Cable slides on a high end RV, don’t think so.
Do you know what hyper deck is? Also, when you run the vents through the floor, than the couch, then the cabinets it has 60% less pressure then a straight shot floor duct. It’s all about resistance.
I just saw what you said about the cable slides. Do yourself a favor and go to keystonerv.com and look at their innovation lab. Look up 'true fit slides'. Nobody and I mean nobody builds an individual frame for each and every floor plan like Keystone does. It's literally called 'true fit slides'. I can stand on top of that slide out!
Alliance is a good product but by no means is it better than the Montana. Does Alliance have max turn technology, giggy box, hyper deck flooring, can they run all three a/c's at the same time, ice makers in the fridge, hitch vision, second sub-floor heated section for piping a lifetime roof warranty??? I can keep going but I think that's enough. I'm also friends with a person that used to be one of their factory reps. They aren't doing that great these days compared to when they first started. I do appreciate their customer service. It's really off the charts. However, they can make all the promises in the world but they can't make the dealership fix their campers any faster than any other camper. Yes, I used to sell Alliance.
@@happycampinggeoff you might need to go back and re-learn about Alliance. You absolutely can run all 3 A/Cs at once (what's the point of having 3 if you can't?), have ice makers in the fridge, etc. Also have lots of +s you didn't mention at all. Just asking that you get the simple facts right if you're going to try to state them.
@@Cristi81272 Yes, they have ice makers, that are NOT insulated water lines. If you are camping in a cold climate your water line can and will freeze. That is why Alliance will not warranty the fridge if you hook up the ice maker. Sorry, If I 'stated' too many facts for you.
And why do you say that? Back up your comment. What makes it better? Does it have true fit slides, hyper deck, sub heated flooring, max turn technology, giggy box, back up assist mirror, real wood cabinets, washer and dryer, 20 cubic foot fridge, power cord real, hitch on the back, disc brakes, full body paint, disc brakes, slide toppers, two lithium ion batteries, tire pressure monitor system, back up and side view cameras, dual pane windows, 400 watts of solar panels, slide toppers, gen prep, guaranteed not to freeze at zero degrees and last but not least, Warranted for full time living??????? I think you get my point, but nice try. Actually I find it kinda sad what happened to Jayco. Thor bought Keystone but didn't go in. They let Keystone be Keystone. Thor bought Jayco and WENT IN! It's makes me sad to what used to be such a great product start to look like a mass manufactured average product.
