For me the concern comes to mind is same one this GB team has had for a long time. Run defense once again. Although I am excited about Jeff Hafley & the new scheme. However Jeff Hafley did not have a stellar record vs the run when at Boston College. It's been chronic problem with this Green Bay Packers team for several years now. Last season 4 games vs running teams - ATL, DET, NYG, PITT all of whom went 200+. But I am very delighted they drafted Edgerrin Cooper top LB in the 2024 college draft. Cooper is a proven bonafided run specialist & should help improve the very poor run D. With a much stronger backend now he should be able to continue to focus on the run. Isiah McDuffie who should see more snaps with Campbell's departure also good vs run. As far as Anders Carlson goes he must show much more consistency in his kicking in 2024. Remember he was perfect through the first 7 games before struggling the latter of season. Kickers often take time to develop. I would give him another year before giving up so soon. For those who say the Packers haven't addressed the problem there been 3 kickers in camp. I am not a big fan of the veteran Joseph due to his lack of consistency which is same issue. With the other kicker cut now the new guy looks very interesting to me however, a rookie UFA. Three seasons with Michigan he had a 80% accuracy rate which is the consistency we seek. He might just surprise although I would lean towards giving Anders Carlson another year. It's also time for Rich Bisaccia to earn his keep & prove he is the guru he was hired to be. This team resigned Tyler Davis their best special teams players from 2 seasons ago. Most key teamers resigned i.e. Eric WIlson plus many team specialists added via draft. He has disputably best kick returner in NFL in Keisean Nixon new rules should help. Time for this unit to excel & be a league leader not another miserable disappointment! Want to see Matt do a much better job with clock management & winning time of possession. To run the god damn ball on 1st downs more than 10% of the time & lean into his run game! Need GB to become a league leader like they traditional had been winning turnover battle. I want to see Jordan Love continue to protect the ball well - last 9 games 18 TDS with 1 INT. He needs to prove he can play in the clutch when the game is on the line & it counts most. 4 times in 2023 including vs SF he choked with INTs in enemy territory needing score to win. Injuries is another major concern. They hit this team hard last season many key players out. Let's just hope it ain't a repeat & our best players can stay on the field most of the season. This team plays to it's potential it will end up in the NFC Championship game this season. Likely vs the SF 49ers their kryptonite! That needs to change this season on the way to the SB! Go Pack Go!
