Tobacco shouldn't be schedule 1, it has accepted medical use for alleviating some gastrointestinal issues, it should be scheduled similar to Cocaine which is highly addictive but is also used as a vasoconstrictior for maxilofacial surgery.

No less than two years in it opened a huge grey market for dispensary grade flower accidentally being legalized since Delta 9 THC isn't active until heated up and otherwise exist in it's acidic form THC-A (grown flower not to be confused with extracts /sprayed packs). So a lot of companies are selling regular weed in the hemp market and have since about 2020.
