I wish for all who listen to this that each word and each concept be fully understood. Please re-listen until understood. The profoundness of this talk is indescribable. Thank you so much Joseph. So much love for you.
Natalie Goldberg talks about writing in cafes, the noisier the better, as it helps her get over the complaining mind you mention. And she often does her writing practice there.
I must be so completely un-mindful. all I hear is his *sniffling*. Seriously, this is great information and source. But I do admit to being hypersensitive to odd speaking patterns (teeth sucking between thoughts), filler words, (um, uh, y'know, like, right... etc). Truly I don't mean it to be critical.. although I realize it comes off that way, my sincere apologies. This really is good material and well presented (except for that darn incessant sniffing sound) LOL. I'll be punished for this, I'm sure. I will loop this until I can find peace with just Listening without the head-chatter. That IS the point, yes?
I didn't even notice. Usually it's throat clearing with Joseph. Eventually found it amusing how much I let myself be annoyed by it. Then I wanted to edit a talk to be nothing but throat clearing sounds. Then they became more interesting. At some point, I stopped noticing them.
@@spiritlevelstudios I know... I'm amused as well, but more often annoyed with myself for being annoyed with others for their idiosyncrasies of speech. Just today I did not attend a zoom meeting that I attend faithfully... all because the person sharing today LITERALLY says "um" every other word! It puts me into such a state of high anxiety that I am much better off just avoiding the whole event. I'm working on it...
