Oh, wow… the countries are neighbors, but not even knowing each other… oh.. did Namibia use usd? Btw… I’m already in Botswana now.. and the Pula is really nice currency

@@dudy That depends on individuals, as for some of us we know much about Botswana and Batswanas. With regards to USD, the lady got it wrong yeah. Probably confused it with Angola when used US dollars at some point back in time around 2010-14.

@@shippila oh true... another neighbouring country.. In Africa though, I have seen mostly that people don´t know much about neighbours... And it was like that as well in Europe.. even mostly people had prejudice against neighbours.. and there were always tensions and wars in Europe... Until the leaders realised and worked hard to connect people instead.. and now there are soooo many benefits.. and therefore Europe got much richer when the countries now cooperate.. hope the same for Africa ;)

Botswana never used US dollars. They use Pula ,strongest currency in southern Africa. That lady is talking about Zimbabwe.

People are out there thinking Africa is one country and we are many. This is a big continent. Africa is actually huge and there's so much propaganda more especially about our population, if we talk about the populations of continents we are actually very few, fewer than them and our continent is very huge that's why it's still rifting... Our population as a continent is almost equal to the population of India as a country. But the media doesn't want to tell the truth...

@dudy Here in Botswana 🇧🇼 you must try our local delicacy SESWAA ( some call it pounded beef in English even though we don't really pound the meat. We overcook it and remove the bones and it becomes very soft. Pounding sounds violent hahaha). You won't regret it.

Ruth is confused. She is speaking about Zimbabwe not Botswana. We have never used USD and we are very confident about our currency, one of the strongest in Africa. Our currency was deliberately devalued several times by our Leaders and that’s what weakened it against USD
