The people in the comments really have no sense of reality and are probably new to investing. He gave valuable insight and people are just ignoring it. Retail investors at their finest
Most people have been saying this about nvda since it hit 400 level last year. Now it’s 3x since and people continue to say the same thing. Nvda imo will stabilize around 2000. Best thing to do is buy on every pull back. This company has serious momentum use case is unprecedented. With AI robots, FSD, just getting started nvdia will become the most valuable company by a significant margin. So don’t just look at the charts and panic about the steep Rise. Look at the demand. There is no slowing down at least for next 3 years.
@@tracyallen6722 Good on you for holding! I learned the hard way not to take quick profits on companies I believe in long term, especially when purchased at an incredible discount.
it’s a new technology cycle, AI wave, of course everyone knows what will happen, that’s why they already have heavy positions in MSFT & NVDA, it’s the ppl who don’t know what will happen that are still buying during all-time highs
New subscriber here. I have been investigating in Nvidia since 2018 and my only regret was not buying more. I recently took some gains of 3000% and put it into solid companies that pay dividends. Being diversified is the key in my opinion.
@@simdogg86because it has momentum. Buy after the split too on any pullbacks. If you like making money this stock for at least the next few years is where you wanna have some exposure. Not advice, just factual.
Keep in mind that TSMC is building a massive chip foundry in Arizona and a few other countries to help diversify. I’m sure aggression from China has hurried this process up. I like Tom’s advice. He talks sense and seems to have people’s best interest in mind. Thank you, sir. SUBSCRIBED.
NVDA moved 200-400 million shares in the last 3 days from post earnings gap up to where it stopped right at the gap. The manipulation is HILLARIOUS to watch
Thanks for this precious advice Tom. I'm new to this channel and I'm going to watch other videos. But quick question about the strategy at 8:22 : at what frequency do you average? Monthly? Also, in case someone wants to invest 10k, how can that person split their contribution and make sure there is still cash available for doubling down in case the stock drops? 🙏
Great video. I’m just buying every week 10£ when that 20% volatility happens(if it happens) I’ll put couple of thousands at once. Can’t expect just the price to go up and up and up without any correction. I was so tempted after all this media hype to buy more now but that would have been based on pure FOMO I managed to say no to my inner self and logic. Thanks for the information.
We as retail investors should hit these institutional investors, hedge funds, .. Walls street greedy manipulative cartel monopolizers!. They have all the money and still wants to take the little we make.. THis Should STOP!
I invested some of my money in the CHAT (AI related companies) ETF. It holds a percentage of all the major players, including Nvidia. I just buy a little each month. I did put a chunk down on Nvidia in case there’s a surge after the split. I’ll wait and buy the next dip like Tom recommends.
Institutional investors have FOMO too and sometimes lose a lot of money too, not just retail investors, but most are long term holds. They do dollar cost average too just like retail investors.
That works for other stocks. NVIDIA Price hasn’t dropped!!! And won’t be back to 400-500$ never again. Everyone who’s been waiting regrets it. Same is going to happen now. It’s not a normal stock.
I follow Jim and I am up big time... So many people hate him, but he isn't all wrong. From my personal experience over the past 5 years, he is more right than wrong. Not saying he is great, but far from bad as well.
The only thing all this NVDA growth has shown me is how I missed out on tens if not hundreds of millions by not DCAing in NVDA for the last 20 years. All I could make was fractions of pennies on the dollar because of my stupidity. 😔
@@robbrown4621 Good question! Tom just mentioned fair value is $700, but I doubt it will reach that price. Anything under $900 would be my entry price.
@@TomNashTV best advice every i got this with coverd call Etf's .. banking on that.. income ill use to buy the underlay ! so the growth of those ETF's are irelevant
Fact of the matter is this, the damn thing is expensive, enough said. Jumping on it now makes no sense, but nvda been hitting its earnings for a long time so it makes sense to buy it.
Leave it don't do anything even before when nvda was 300 share it was still doing great over the long term year to year at least 50% over before COVID. So yea, in the long term, it's been great. 2000% before covid since I game with NVDA GPUs and there leading the AI market.
Only buying right after earnings release with price over $1,000 actually lose few thousands already since because stock price went down bought 30 + shares should've purchased when stock price was $400 plus
"Slow and Steady"... The steady part (adjusted DCA) makes total sense but how slow to build a $50K position for instance if the money is already available on the sideline now? DCA over 6 months, 1 year, 5 years?
I think its worth going all in at this point becuase of the AI growth... sell everything we own, take out loans, max out credit cards etc and put it all on nvda becuase it will probaly go up 10x again in the next year right?
Don't trust anyone making videos and then talking about the stock referrencing the past. Everyone is an expert when talking past tense. Tell us exactly what the stock is going to do tomorrow...next week...next month. You can not. So an expert from the past...and clueless to the future. Welcome to youtube nonsense.
