what got me into Nvda after stock split at a premium price wasn't the fact that it grew by over 200 % in a year but the ridiculous picture of their operating margins. out of 100 bucks in revenue, 50 are net profit which tbh I've never seen before in my entire life, at least for a company this size.

It’s funny to see this company talked about so much, after decades before knowing it as the logo at the start of games “Nvidia the way it’s meant to be played.” It’s almost always been dominate in GPUs since 2006, with rare exceptions.

i agree on some points. but i would say tsmc is way more important for the world. nvda might be the most important for the us stock markt, but for the world i would argue tsmc is more important. there is more chips needed than ai, and tsmc produces most of the worlds chips.

love Tom's insights.... was 1000000% correct on NKLA and PLTR.... I just regret not having enough money to invest more into PLTR was at $6/$7.... the one i disagree with Tom on is TSLA.... i believe TSLA is over hyped and is slowly going to drop drastically in the future.... but like all RU-vidrs say.... just my opinion and do you own due diligence/research.... ....

Nvda shares went 40% below its 200dma in '09, '18, '22 .. those were the best times to buy. When in bull cycle, it can remain above 15-17% on top of 200dma for elongated period of time ..

Uh Aswath bought NVDA years back and then sold a good bit recently so that he could be mentally free to let it ride. He doesn't believe in holding stocks forever - he often questions Buffett's thought process. Anyways, his main idea is to buy companies he likes (ex. are dominant) only when he gets a discount to do so.

I bought Nvidia in 2019 (I was 22 at that time) because I was quite sure, that the CEO is a beast and will never let their opponents rest (check out the GPU space where they dominate). But I sold with a good profit in 2022..... Well, if I only knew better and just left the stock till today, I could've retired.
