What NOT TO DO After Crashing On The Freeway / Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES CA - A single vehicle crash on the freeway almost turned into more than that due to the actions of the people involved. If you are involved in a crash on a freeway and your car is drivable, exit the freeway if you can. If the car is not drivable, and able, safely exit your vehicle and get to the shoulder. Stay on the shoulder parallel with your vehicle. If the car is in a unsafe spot and you can't get out to a safe spot, CALL 911 and STAY on the phone until HELP arrives. You might be safer to exit the vehicle and stand in front of it (not directly) using the vehicle as a blocker all while watching and making sure traffic doesn't hit you or the car.
DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR CAR AND CONTINUALLY CROSS A MOVING FREEWAY. NEVER STAND BEHIND YOUR CAR WITH TRAFFIC COMING AT YOU!

God bless the person who parked behind the idoits, turned their hazards on, and then waited for the police. That person is a hero, and probably saved someone's life. I hope that person lives a long, happy life of their own.

The freaking icing on the cake, the thing that really made my blood boil, is the fact that the cops drove it to the side under its own power. Biggest peanut brained, frogger players I’ve ever seen. I hope they got arrested and received a hefty fine. Probably not tho, it was in california.

The car was drivable that entire time?? I guess taking selfies and running in the middle of the freeway at night is more fun. Everyone would've gotten a first row seat to the "Smeared by a Car Going 60 MPH" show they were putting on.

I'm in my 30's now and no-one ever had to tell me not to do this if I ever got into an auto accident on the freeway,it's common sense.Everyone should invest in a dash camera,I have and it has saved me a few times already.

I will never understand why people do this. That car is intact enough to be driven off the road. I could only hope these girls win the darwin award sooner rather than later.

That person that got behind them and put their hazards on saved some lives for sure. Before they showed up cars were swerving last minute almost hitting them but after the hazards went on most people knew to brake a lot earlier and avoid an even bigger accident.

Always nice to see that the camera person just stands by filming hoping for an accident so they can film it and get more views rather than going over and helping or just at least telling them to get out of the road.

Great recording man. Stone cold cameraman right here. Just waiting for an accident to happen so you get that perfect shot. Not once did he think to tell them girls to get off of the fwy.
