Thank you for your channel Abby. I was able to get a job offer on the spot after watching your videos and learning about the job outlook this days! The interviewer made a comment that he liked my questions at the end about his hesitation
hi, thanks for the tips. one question.... If asked shall I mention I have other job interviews also going on? how would you approach this question? thank you
Yes! Perfectly acceptable to dress professional. If you an applying to be a student at a school, "dressing up" won't hurt you. If you are applying to work at a school, dressing professionally will help make a good first impression.
JUST for the money? I hope you can find a job where you not only enjoy the paycheck and feel like you're getting paid what you're worth, but also find a job where you feel fulfilled in other ways!
Great question! Short answer: yes. Long answer: When it comes to your jeans, make sure they are "nice." Do not wear jeans with holes or rips in them. They should be plain and simple. When it comes to your sweater, same concept. Keep it plain and simple, and make sure it's in good shape - no rips, tears, stains, etc. Good luck with your next interview!

Good point! It really depends. It’s okay to admit you’re nervous, but if we dwell on it too much it can hinder us. I’d recommend saying something like, “I’m feeling nervous and excited for this interview, I’m looking forward to this opportunity.” Not having any nerves and showing up as TOO confident can have the same backfiring effect as being too nervous.
