This was great! Thanks so much! One thing I truly was considering-Window replacements-In this case, 1958, single paned, and zero TLC. Back to that curb apeal. They are an eyesore. If not replaced, cleaning and repainting them would be a major and expensive task. And… well…you never know what’s under 20 coats of paint! Suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply. Considering they're single pane, and from what it sounds a large ordeal to paint or repair, you may reconsider replacing them. Depending upon the price point of your home you probably want to adjust the quality level of what you install. If your home falls into the median price point for your area, I would consider vinyl double pane windows towards the lower scale price range. If your property falls on the higher end price point for your area, I would probably bump the quality level up some. I sell a lot of homes built in the 90's and early 2000's that have lower quality double pane vinyl windows. Many of them have a few windows with broken hardware, and/or faulty seals. These windows are easy to repair. A few repairs, and professional cleaning is much more economical than tens of thousands to replace. Thanks for watching my video. Feel free to hit me up by text at 240-793-7495 if you have other questions. 👍👍

I had the same question! 1979 home with the gas inbetween windows literally fogging the view (doh!). That plus they are really bug windows…and we have wood paneling. 😂 Am I doomed for being able to sell? 😂😂

@agc2001 hey thanks for checking out my video. I would say if you have 1979 double pane windows, I would have a glass company come out to replace the glass and seals on only the affected windows with condensation or fogginess. For a normal sized bedroom or living room window, you're typically looking at a cost of $250-$350 per pane. This is a far cry from window replacement. If you live in the DC area I can give you a referral. If not, I would suggest Google searching a glass company near you. NOT A WINDOW COMPANY. Where is the paneling you're mentioning?

@@KevinGroligThanks so much! I am in the DMV area, so I’d love that referral! Should I email you? When I said wood paneling I meant the windows are all brown wood frames (no plastic).

@@agc2001 okay....got it. The wood frame windows are fine. I have had those painted in the past, just like wood paneling. I have an unbelievable paint and paint crew who can help you with that as well. Send me an email at kevin@kevingrolig.com and I will send you their contact information.

I definitely don’t want to buy one of the houses you’re selling. Clearly, you gonna try to give me the bare minimum. 😂😂😂😂 now on the flipside if I need to sell my house, you’ll be the one I go to 😂😂😂
