I’m in the same boat girl. I lost my job out of nowhere. I still don’t understand why or how. Nonetheless I’m trusting God for my new role.

1. I hope you applied for unemployment because you do qualify since you got laid off. That'll give you 6 months of income. Also, once you get unemployment, you will automatically qualify for food stamps. Apply, you paid taxes for these benefits. 2. You can try temp agencies like Robert Half, Insight Global etc. to help you find a job. They will also find you permanent positions. 3. If you need help reworking your resume or just someone to give it a 2nd pair of eyes. I'm willing to assist.

Maybe try pivoting your transferrable skills to a different field. If you were doing Admin/college admissions maybe try pivoting into project management or a project coordinator role. Don't be afraid to take jobs that are not in your field. Good luck ❤❤❤

I tell my clients to try not to apply through job boards. Try going straight to the company to apply. Now if they have a link that redirects you to Indeed and other job boards then fine. It's rough pretty much everywhere. I hope you applied for unemployment. Maybe try a job where it's easy and just to keep cash flow coming through and then continue to look for work for what you really want. Idk, good luck to you though. It took me 11 months. I was hire nonprofit. maybe try that.
